Pete Johns, as I’ve posted to you before, with all the timbres, samples and sequences we have available to us composing at times can be a bit overwhelming, even more so for an actual papered composer. One thing I’ve noticed in my 40+ years of comp ‘we’ forgot to use the ‘rests’... I was taught early on to use the ‘rests’ as much as the notes avoiding the ‘wall of sound’ syndrome... my point is yes, it’s almost too easy to create pieces but actual compositions are far and few between. Cheer friend and keep the vids coming for you have a knack for doing as such so very well.
Haha! Yes, I love encouraging my kids to use GarageBand so this gives them a way to feel like they are creating without all the complications. I do reinforce that they need to actually add something different to make it their own!
Hey there. This pack actually only has loops, so make sure you’re checkin in the Apple Loops section and search for “Disco” or “Primastica” and you should see them. There’s also three new drum kits you can use in Drums or Beat Sequencer.

Which reminds me, I did that type of thing and got a notification that I was stealing music from RUclips. I objected that it was written by me and then didn't hear anything else about it. Like yourself, I don't use this for making music very often but I gotta have all the sounds! It's just fun stuff.

Hey there. Yes, unfortunately you can only arm one MIDI track at a time in GarageBand iOS. A little frustrating I know! What I do, is record to one track and then copy and paste the MIDI data to a new track. Here's a video with some tips - ruclips.net/video/78kwLpr_Lu0/видео.html
For me, I do NOT use Solaris LIVE loops, because it will impact me and other user's videos with copyright claims! Be careful when using prismatica on GarageBand.

I downloaded EVERY PACK...some of which claim to have hundreds of apple loops...when I open the loop library I only have 443 items...no filters on, there are only loops from “toy box” what is going on? It’s frustrating. Update; I opened a new song and 4,397 loops magically appeared...but only in the new song, not in any other old project.
Haha! Yeah, I’ve heard of some strange issues form other folks that I haven’t been able to replicate. But I’ve seen enough to trust them that they are happening!!
No dumb questions here my friend! So, you can export individual sounds and import them in to other DAWs as WAV files, but it would be a slow and quite painful process to do this. There's no easy way to just access the sample library.
Hey there my friend. So, creating a whole new virtual instrument is a long a complicated sampling process, while creating loops is comparatively simple. Therefore most of the sound packs contain loops and samples, as well as occasional synth patches.

If you actually write the name of the pack in the search field, it will show you the sounds from that pack only! It works for all packs!

I noticed that there’s an instrument called talk box guitar on the loops but it’s not in the guitar track, how can I get it?
It’s just a loop unfortunately. A digital sample of that guitar playing, which means it is not an actual virtual instrument you can use sadly.
