I'm not surprised with the fee for Lokonga. However it's annoying loaning players to teams with a buy option who have no intention of buying the player. I feel this will be the same situation in Lokongas case
The loan with an option to buy is different to the loan with the obligation to buy pal
@@Raydondo62 yes I know but it is a loan with an option to buy for Lokonga. Plus we get a 25% sell on clause if Seville activate the buy option. I just can't see Seville doing this
There's a reason why teams with a buy option have no intention of buying the player.
Maybe if we didn't buy the said "he's the new Patrick Vieria" player in first place then these situations of being lumbered with him wouldn't arise. Again...
Good evening Harry and fellow gooners everywhere…our priorities this window seem very obvious to me.. a new 6 or 8 and a fresh right sided attacking option … yet all the talk so far is of player sales and defensive reinforcements… getting a few extra quid in for the deadwood or buying another defender who can give us more control in games is not going to be enough to win us the league I don’t think.. we need the likes of Guimares and Simmons
Harry in my opinion if we don't get at least 30 million we should keep him unless we can replace him. Then maybe we send him out on loan

But a player even though not playing a lot coz of circumstances can be really good. Especially a goal keeper so arsenal might be justified for asking that price. Also it depends on the market, are their cheaper alternatives

Hi Harry, I’m seriously starting to question if Edu is the right man for the job. Arsenal are in a very strong position to challenge again or win the league yet he’s unable to complete this deal, I know all transfers have complexities but come on now this should have been wrapped up already.

I think you're being a tad harsh on our recently voted "Best Football Director in the EPL" Sir Edu Gaspar there fella who let's not forget only lost the club £57m during the last financial year and who somehow managed to pay £4m for a free signing who he then let walk for free.

A deal taking one week to finalise is no biggie. Bologna are starting to take the pi** really when it was originally around 50m Euros, not GB Pounds, and now with a sell-on clause brought up.
I wouldn’t blame Arsenal if they walked away, at least for a bit, although it’s quite likely the deal gets done.

@@user-tr9kw7jz3z I’m talking about a moving target once you are in late stage negotiations. For Eddie that is a number put out there. It isn’t during negotiations with a specific club.
Fiorentina were prepared to pay 20 million for him so the option was there. Ramsdale is worth far more than 25 million
