Huge one that is right in all of our faces, but so subtle we all miss it: The TENT. In previous final fantasies, the tent was an item you could use to "camp" and save progress with.
Or when you buy a weapon and the lower part of the screen shows your allies. As someone who has a soft spot for FF1, I almost screamed when I saw that.
For the Key reference, I saw it as a reference to the very first Final Fantasy, where you get a Mystic key that can unlock any door. Could be both, I guess...
I just assumed it was a general reference. A lot of fantasy games have a type of Skeleton Key that unlocks doors. It'd be like Prompto referencing loot chests.
Yeah, this wasn't as explicit as the guy in the video made it out to be. It's definitely either a FF1 reference or a general reference to Skeleton Keys.
You missed that one where there is the secret plotline where Noctis has to to find the royal noodle cups in order to have the power to do battle with the flying spaghetti monster who plans on ridding the world of all noodle cup stands so only spaghetti remains. Noctis ends up turning himself into the ultimate Noodle cup just to erase the flying spaghetti monster, and brings peace to the world so people can eat their cup noodles in peace, except Gladious, he gets none of it.
oen of my favorite easter eggs is when it's night time and when prompto turns on his flashlight he yells "ILLUMINATE" like Cecil(though it's a bit random)
I love that little easter egg. Though, I always wondered if that was an actual reference to Cecil or if it was just Prompto being Prompto. I mean, it seemed like such an obscure little reference... Glad to know others caught it too~
I noticed a poster in Lestallum that says Mama Edea's.....something....I can't remember the rest of the poster. Edea, of course, being from FF8. She was a motherly figure to Squall & Co. so..... Mama Edea!!
Actually what many people are calling a reference to the Kingdom Hearts games in FFXV is quite possibly a throw back to FF1. For those that don't remember, at one point in the game's events you obtain a "Mystic Key" which has the ability to unlock any door or chest.
I love Crisis Core and I almost screamed the first time I saw the Banora White billboards. One thing I was incorrect about though was that I thought that Ramuh's staff had Sleipnir's head. Guess I really wanted to see Odin in some way in FFXV.
After that piece of Amano artwork, I think we all did. There's still hope though, he could be added in the future like Gilgamesh was! Thanks for watching (and commenting)! ~Darryl
4:27 - Or it could be a reference to Zelda. Or it could be a reference to the hundreds of other games that use that exact mechanic of having a Skeleton Key that opens any door in the game.
madscientistshusta Not to mention, there actually IS a key that opens all of those locked doors. So yeah, not much of a KH reference. Now Sora showing up in World of Final Fantasy, THAT's a KH reference.
lol from the video games the fantasy in reality acknowledges its final fantasy history and kingdom hearts maybe sum of them are just games in their universe
It's really awesome to read all the comments here ! So many findings/references to previous FFs. I will add the Meteor logo on the journalist's t-shirt in Lestallum, which clearly is from the FF VII's title logo.
Just a few that I've noticed: 1) Prompto saying he forgot to harvest his Zell tree (Final Fantasy 8 reference). 2) During the end of the fight against Titan, all 3 (Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis) throw their "balls" of blizzara the same way that Wakka would throw his Blitzball (Final Fantasy 10 reference). 3) The vehicles sitting around inside the 3 imperial bases you infiltrate are the same design as the vehicles used to flee the desert prison (Final Fantasy 8 reference). 4) The gun you receive after beating Episode: Prompto is called Lion Heart (reference to Squall, Final Fantasy 8). 5) Masamune was a downloadable sword available with the day one version of the game (Final Fantasy 7 reference). 6) Midgardsormr and Aspidochelon were names of rare monsters you had to find for the hunters on the Phon Coast (Final Fantasy 12 reference).
I got one for ya. Iris Amicitia (Gladiolus' little sister) joins the party for a bit, and her tech is a reference to one of Tifa's Limit Breaks from FFVII. She runs up to the enemy, sweeps the leg, then gets launched by Gladiolus and divebombs the enemy on the way down. The leg sweep and divebomb are identical to Tifa, but the launch is new.
There is an Spanish exclusive easter egg :P The Spanish translation for FFVII was infamous, worst than just using Google translator, well, in the Spanish translation of FFXV they kept one those translations mistakes on purpose ( allévoy)
aricente exactly XD in the translation of ffvii there are many misspellings and errors, one of them is allévoy (instead of allá voy), and they used it in ffxv as an easter egg(at least in the European Spanish version)
you missed the Back to the Future reference when you first take off. gladio and prompto gasp in amazement, with Ignis stating "we're taking the highroad." with Noctis following with "Where we're going we don't need roads,"
Another one: in Lestallum there are posters for the Uncle Randall Root Beer. Randall is a family in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance that are some of the main antagonists. bit.ly/38Sq1Zs
2 things I noticed right off the bat. 1. At the end of the game as you are walking through insomnia there is a sign that says "nanaki" referring to red XIII, unless you are actually looking for it it's easy to miss 2. The second one I will call an Easter egg, but if you notice how many royal arms there are and the number of past kings that fly through ardyn during the last fight reminds me a lot of knights of the round
Not to mention that most of the story pulls heavily from FF2 -People making sacrifices for a better future which Noctis and others must push onward with -The mythril fetch quest is exactly what Hilda asks of Firion to obtain, just as Cindy does with Noctis. -A heavy focus on Leviathan, though being a massive fight rather than traversing within her. -Noctis' weaponry is similar to Firion's in the sense of having a mastery over many types on the fly that you equip at will, as well as decent control over them (though this moreso reflects Firion's psychic mastery to control them at will from Dissidia) FF2 was not a bad game when you gave it a proper chance, guys. This is probably the closest thing to a remake we'll ever get for it, though I would love to see FF2 get a full remake after FF7 with the same engine. Pipe dream? Perhaps.. but a dream nonetheless. ^^
In Chapter 14, Insomnia, there are a number of references to past Final Fantasy games on signs/billboards, for example Spira (FFX), Nanaki (Red XIII from FFVII), Balamb (FFVIII), Little Eiko (FFIX), Morrid's Coffee (character and name of sidequest in FFIX)
I don't quite agree with the kingdom hearts reference. Magic keys have been in games long before KH and it's already established that the guys play games on their mobile phones at the least.
one time ignis asked for noct to help cook for their breakfast. when you finished the favor. stirred not shaken will appear on screen. i think it is a reference to james bond.
how come you didnt mention The JOJO POSE in the quest with prompto were him and noctis try to take a picture of a captoblepas? if you push triangle ULTIMATE POSE noctis do the Iconic Pose of the 1st jojo Johnathan Joestar.
Love that I saw Orthros in Kingsglaive! I was like "WHAT THE FUCK IS ORTHROS DOING ON AN AIRSHIP!?!?!?" Then I forgot that he was on the ceiling in the opera house to drop one of the weight things on Celes lol
Matthew Frota Its Orthros too. Plus, i just bought the ios version of FFVI & in the Final Fantasy Record Keeper game, says Orthros Basically the same but I think Ultros is more well known :3
Y'know, it wasn't just Ultros on an airship. It was Ultros. Fighting the hero. On an airship. In free fall. All the while trying to get his tentacles on a pretty girl. And getting finished off with fire magic and ending up like ikayaki skewered on top of a building. Turns out seafood soup _was_ on the menu after all... Seriously, the entire fight with Ultros is one big homage to FFVI.
The magical key is a reference to consumable "key" items that can be used to open any locked door in dungeons. They were in Final Fantasy Adventure and Zelda and many other old school adventure games. It's also a reference o the Mystic Key in FFI.
The magical key reference is a reference to the first Dragon Warrior games, where you could buy/obtain 'Magic Keys' that can open all three tiers of locked doors you encounter in the game. Could also be a KH reference but the line Prompto drops is clearly dragon warrior (the series Final Fantasy was the spiritual successor to) Quetzalcoatl shows up in FFXV and FFXI as well, so it's been in the series way more often than just twice.
I'd like to note that Dragon Quest was done by Enix and FF was Square (separate companies at the time). FF was not a spiritual successor, it was just inspired by DQ (and moreso Ultima, which DQ was also inspired by). It's also a little silly to call is a successor when the majority of the early games in both franchises were released in the same year. But yeah, DQ definitely started the magic key trope in JRPGs, afaik, and we've seen a few references between each company's many franchises since the merger.
mindbreaker, aka. mindbreak, rend mind, and mindblow, is a recurring ability in the series (seen in 7, 11, and 12) not just a weapon from 14. Butterfly edge was also the name of a thief's sword used by Zidane in FF9
Not too sure about this but be warned of potential spoilers! Sure that many of you know but another little Easter egg is that you can see Nyx Ulric (the protagonist from Final Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive) hanging from the throne room right before fighting the final boss.
In Insomnia, during the edgame, there is a storefront called Nanaki, which is a reference to Red XIII from FFVII. Also, moxt of the references to the Empire as well as Magitek are direct references to FFVI. Even Ardyn is a not so subtle reference to Kefka being the chancellor to the Emperor Iodelas.
You missed out on mentioning that when you open the map or the menu it plays the prelude track just like the original final fantasy game did, at least when opening the world map.
You missed: The circular saw special attack having the same animation as Edgar when he used the chain saw. Noctis' family has 13 ancestors same as the Knights of the round summon from 7. Noctis does the Omni slash at the end of the game. There are 4 warriors of light just like the first game. Ardyn = Kefka
Tbh I think that the Lucian ancestors are *actually* supposed to be the knights of the round summon in XV, not just a nod to them. That means that Regis had to die to complete the summon itself, making it 13 knights. Furthermore - just like Yuna in FFX would have had to sacrifice herself to do the high summon - Noctis actually went through with it and sacrificed/killed himself to summon the knights of the round (which in FFXV act as a kind of high summon) to kill Ardyn.
Biggs is also a reference to Star Wars... Wedge was the Squadron Leader, Biggs was a minor pilot, but his the one Luke tries save (and fail) at the first Deathstar battle.
I'm pretty sure the "magic key that can open any door" is a reference to the magic keys that you could buy in the NES final fantasys (which would open any locked doors).
Sometimes Prompto says their adventure is like a game they play (knight's something) and they want to be the 4 or 5 stars champion of the game. I've always thought this is a Brave Exvius easter egg.
Did anyone else notice Tabata providing service behind the bar at the Square Enix Cafe at the Carnival? I snapped a photo of him but somehow ended up mistakenly deleting it... one of my biggest grrrrr moments of stupidity.
think the magical key to unlock any door was more of a reference to the fact that the creator has a super hard on for legend of zelda which he admit was the staple for creating this game. the key you get at the last level can open any lock in the entire game so most people can rush for this key to beat loz in speed runs. douvle check this fact
You missed a JoJo's Bizzare Adventure pose that Noctis makes in the game. I did got the reference to Queztalcoatl, FF8 was my first FF, and watching a Summon in action for the first time was MIND-BLOWING, Queztalcoatl being that first Summon (and I love the FF XV design). I thought that the horse's head in Ramuh's staff was Odin's horse, but yeah that's definitely Ixion (wich I also love).
Also, I'm not 100% sure about this one, but when Prompto says 'C'mon. Break time! Break time!' to Noctis when running around for some time, I think Yuffie said that when going to the rest point in Fort Condor, FFVII. I might be wrong and it might not be a direct reference! Anyone else notice that one?
don't forget the nearly annoying easter egg. referencing square Enix last game before making Final Fantasy I. (King's Knight, which is referenced multiple times by Prompto and is, in fact, a game they seem to all play on their phones.) although some of the references talk about money trees that need to be collected from (similar to Clash of Clans collecting gold and elixir.) this doesn't have any meaning for the game produced by Square called King's Knight, but the game is about 4 heroes trying to save about princess.)
Sérgio Marques uh, yes. but keeping context of the present in the statement. in fact, where I describe the game, you'll notice I said 'square', because I wasn't talking about the present. but thanks, in case anyone reading this is confused.
#4 is too vague to be able to say that its specifically from KH. One could argue that it refers back to the skeleton key from the Zelda series, or another key that opens every door from another obscure game series.
Biggs and Wedge also appeared in FFX. That's not the point though. The names were borrowed from Star Wars and have been used for recurring characters in the series for decades. It's still a Star Wars reference.
You forgot the playing cards in the tent showing FNC lore and god symbols of pulse and lindzei as well as the king card that shows a man traveling under a circular object that looks exactly like Cocoon from FF13
Huge one that is right in all of our faces, but so subtle we all miss it: The TENT. In previous final fantasies, the tent was an item you could use to "camp" and save progress with.
Kolibri 1491 my dumbass just realized that, and it feels awesome to know.
Damn, you're right!
Or when you buy a weapon and the lower part of the screen shows your allies.
As someone who has a soft spot for FF1, I almost screamed when I saw that.
Yes! I loved that bit!
well... people usually tend to sleep in tents when they camp in real life...
Gladiolus does Zack's signature squat-animation from FF7 and Crisis Core when camping.
I noticed that. I got a kick out of it and had to save it to show my brother. Was quite funny.
That's also something Yda does in FFXIV!
take a wander around Insomnia and look at all the signs. YRP, Nanaki, Spira, Balamb. Loads of references to previous games.
Surprised no one said anything about Prompto telling Noctis to say Fuzzy pickles during a photo shoot. (Earthbound reference)
Lord Anti omg, I totally missed that!
"Help me Noctis, you're my only hope"
How could you forget that one??
When did anyone said that in the game?!
@@jchea1764 we will never know
iRenz say it!!!
@@djw_tekken8490 ruclips.net/video/LBOG29kzsrA/видео.html
Don’t say I didn’t do you any favors
There's fishing accessories shop by Rachsia Bridge called Tabby's Tackle Shop. "Tabby" is actually a nickname of FF XV director, Hajime Tabata :)
Spiracorns in game look like Ixion and Spira is also the name of the world in FFX
And i thought it was a Dragon Quest reference...
i thought it was a skyrim skeleton key reference
"from the videogames" so any supposition is correct
Yeah, this wasn't as explicit as the guy in the video made it out to be. It's definitely either a FF1 reference or a general reference to Skeleton Keys.

Sonny BA This is totally cannon.
WHAT!!!! dammit...i freaken missed out on that quest line.
oen of my favorite easter eggs is when it's night time and when prompto turns on his flashlight he yells "ILLUMINATE" like Cecil(though it's a bit random)
I love that little easter egg. Though, I always wondered if that was an actual reference to Cecil or if it was just Prompto being Prompto. I mean, it seemed like such an obscure little reference...
Glad to know others caught it too~
the way he said it was very much liek how Cecil's voice actor in dissidia says it
KeroKaminaX fairly certain that its a dissidia reference
I was wondering where that came from. I thought it came from Harry Potter lol. My guess is way off.
The Dissidia soundtrack is in the game for purchase, so I wouldn't put it past 'em
Fun fact, prompto makes you do a photo shoot that has a Jojo BA reference :P
Shoot, i just write that T_T
Ryokoshii what! ? which one cuz I have like 4 photos hoots in my quest log lol
madscientistshusta neark the lake were the catoblepas are there is a camp
it's a side quest when you camp at a certain area. just make sure you select ultimate pose.
Ryokoshii Ohhhhhjh, I was wondering if that came from something.
I noticed a poster in Lestallum that says Mama Edea's.....something....I can't remember the rest of the poster. Edea, of course, being from FF8. She was a motherly figure to Squall & Co. so..... Mama Edea!!
Krystle Barnes interesting
I remember her. Wasn't she also called Matron? But yes, she, along with Cid, ran the orphanage most of the FF8 gang was raised at.
yeah she was also called Matron
Think it was either for a jar of pickled things... two different types of those... or the rootbeer?
Great Glacier Cola, Junon (motor oil?), et cetera
Wow the crisis core reference i did not notice till i watched this. Great Video!!
Quetzalcoatl is also identical to the Valefor; the first summon of FFX.
And also shares its name with the thunder summon of FF8.
There's a shop that says Spira in Insomnia.
Ohh I saw that one as well! :)
My favourite is the Back To The Future reference
mariotaz we don't need any roads where we are going
oh really noct? lol!
mariotaz And the monty python reference!
Wait where? I missed that!
mariotaz ignis saying its just a flesh wound
Oh yes of course! I've heard it so many times I actually forgot it was a reference.
It's no hidden in anyway but i like how the Auto-Crossbow and Bioblaster were together and named after two moves in FF6 =)
I knew they sounded familiar!
All the Machanist weapons are named after Edgar's Tools from FF6
Quite shocked no one has mentioned the "Mystic Tomato" ingredient that is the first quest bounty from FF XII.
Breaking of the third wall? you do know it's the 4th wall right
***** he said 3rd wall thats why I asked
Actually what many people are calling a reference to the Kingdom Hearts games in FFXV is quite possibly a throw back to FF1. For those that don't remember, at one point in the game's events you obtain a "Mystic Key" which has the ability to unlock any door or chest.

madscientistshusta Not to mention, there actually IS a key that opens all of those locked doors. So yeah, not much of a KH reference. Now Sora showing up in World of Final Fantasy, THAT's a KH reference.
SBaby no...just no
also Final Fantasy 1 :D as the Mystic Key.
anthony ortiz Why are you saying 'no'? That's actually a thing in that game.
I thought the magic key like in the video games was a reference to the game itself. Where you get a magic key that opens all the dungeons.
sam Kingdom Hearts lmao
lol from the video games the fantasy in reality acknowledges its final fantasy history and kingdom hearts maybe sum of them are just games in their universe
Like King's Knight which Prompto references.
It promptos line regarding the door and key that can open any lock it could be a reference to the mystic key from Final Fantasy 1
They should make a game that is packed full of easter eggs so much that it would be known as the easter egg game.
Wow, I must have passed that Banora White sign so many times without even realizing/paying attention. XD
It's really awesome to read all the comments here ! So many findings/references to previous FFs. I will add the Meteor logo on the journalist's t-shirt in Lestallum, which clearly is from the FF VII's title logo.
you forgot the most important one.
it's when you put prompto in the casual outfit he looks more like cloud
The chocobo dye items are straight out of FFXIV, the fruit used to dye chocobos.
Niflheim sounds like Nibelheim from FFVII
Especially since the "v" sound is used for both "b" and "f" in Japanese pronunciations of English words.

Hay muchísimos easter eggs!
you missed the Back to the Future reference when you first take off. gladio and prompto gasp in amazement, with Ignis stating "we're taking the highroad." with Noctis following with "Where we're going we don't need roads,"

bit.ly/38Sq1Zs
Plus there's a quest called "Dude, Where's My Car?"
there is a enemy called kujata . something like that . that is also a summon you can find in ff7. beware hes not friendly
2 things I noticed right off the bat.
1. At the end of the game as you are walking through insomnia there is a sign that says "nanaki" referring to red XIII, unless you are actually looking for it it's easy to miss
2. The second one I will call an Easter egg, but if you notice how many royal arms there are and the number of past kings that fly through ardyn during the last fight reminds me a lot of knights of the round
When shiva is summoned you'll notice they're different then one another. One shiva each looking like a shiva from past games.
I never noticed Banora White! I'm emotional now haha
Not to mention that most of the story pulls heavily from FF2
-People making sacrifices for a better future which Noctis and others must push onward with
-The mythril fetch quest is exactly what Hilda asks of Firion to obtain, just as Cindy does with Noctis.
-A heavy focus on Leviathan, though being a massive fight rather than traversing within her.
-Noctis' weaponry is similar to Firion's in the sense of having a mastery over many types on the fly that you equip at will, as well as decent control over them (though this moreso reflects Firion's psychic mastery to control them at will from Dissidia)
FF2 was not a bad game when you gave it a proper chance, guys. This is probably the closest thing to a remake we'll ever get for it, though I would love to see FF2 get a full remake after FF7 with the same engine. Pipe dream? Perhaps.. but a dream nonetheless. ^^
The title should be;5 thing in ffxv the u problaly didnt NOCTIS,lol
Aiman Zaka You must be Prompto lolol!
Aiman Zaka Your joke was bad and you should feel bad. (See what I did there)
Did anyone else notice how Aranea's spearhead looks a bit like Freya's head from FFIX?
Taaniul aranea literally has the same outfit as lightning does in lightning returns FFXIII
There probably a lot better subtle ones than the KH franchise nod. Noctis is literally the more surreal analog of Sora.
Monty2289 yea noctis is basically more realistic he's not happy all the time
There is one I noticed early on in the game referencing Tonberries. Prompto talks about a knife and saying "doink" like the FF8 GF does
I don't quite agree with the kingdom hearts reference. Magic keys have been in games long before KH and it's already established that the guys play games on their mobile phones at the least.
I'm 100% sure it is
one time ignis asked for noct to help cook for their breakfast. when you finished the favor. stirred not shaken will appear on screen. i think it is a reference to james bond.

2# : Didn't know.
3# : Didn't know.

5# : Didn't know.
how come you didnt mention The JOJO POSE in the quest with prompto were him and noctis try to take a picture of a captoblepas? if you push triangle ULTIMATE POSE noctis do the Iconic Pose of the 1st jojo Johnathan Joestar.
damn i'm what i'm choosing in new game + ! i missed that the first time
You can also do the ultimate pose when camping near Cape Caem.
Wow, well spotted. I bet that might be the most obscure reference above and beyond whst this video points out.
***** Da fuck?? really?
Really. You'll pose at the fishing spot near the camp.
idk if its a big one but, Astral Plain, looks like a part of Sin from FFX.
Promptos line about key that opens all doors can also be reference to first Final Fantasy. In FF1 you receive that kind of key from elf king.
Love that I saw Orthros in Kingsglaive! I was like "WHAT THE FUCK IS ORTHROS DOING ON AN AIRSHIP!?!?!?"
Then I forgot that he was on the ceiling in the opera house to drop one of the weight things on Celes lol
Bernardo Who do you mean Ultros? Orthrus is a rather obscure Wolf-like monster from the early series
Matthew Frota
Its Orthros too.
Plus, i just bought the ios version of FFVI & in the Final Fantasy Record Keeper game, says Orthros
Basically the same but I think Ultros is more well known :3

Kriss Hietala
I've already explained it...
What´s the music you´re using in this vid?
There are quite a few FF7 easter eggs in this game, don't forget 'Great Glacier' Cola !
Yojimbo was a huge walking-slashing reference to FFX! I couldn't help but notice that he was donning Yuna's colors
The magical key is a reference to consumable "key" items that can be used to open any locked door in dungeons. They were in Final Fantasy Adventure and Zelda and many other old school adventure games. It's also a reference o the Mystic Key in FFI.

Noctis does the Omni slash at the end of the game.
There are 4 warriors of light just like the first game.
Ardyn = Kefka
This game is great I'm still really enjoying it
Biggs is also a reference to Star Wars... Wedge was the Squadron Leader, Biggs was a minor pilot, but his the one Luke tries save (and fail) at the first Deathstar battle.
Ernesto Gonçalves they've appeared in almost every ff game since ff6.nothing new there lol
What is your background song???? I love it. It's so catchy.
Did anyone else notice Tabata providing service behind the bar at the Square Enix Cafe at the Carnival? I snapped a photo of him but somehow ended up mistakenly deleting it... one of my biggest grrrrr moments of stupidity.
The first time that i arrived into Galdin, Prompto says that was similiar to his favourite videogame.
My first thought when Prompto mentioned a key that unlocks any door he was referencing the Ultimate Key from Dragon Quest
think the magical key to unlock any door was more of a reference to the fact that the creator has a super hard on
for legend of zelda which he admit was the staple for creating this game. the key you get at the last level can open any lock in the entire game so most people can rush for this key to beat loz in speed runs. douvle check this fact
This one might already been talked about. But in some of the pictures that Prompto takes he looks like Cloud Strife.
When prompto was chained it remembered me of squall in ff8
What is the song? The description just says provided by ben sound.
A "Magic Key" that can open most any door? Sounds like a Dragon Quest reference to it's Magic Key item that can open most any door.
I like the fact Yojimbo makes an appearance as an enemy
One of his attacks he throws money at you, which is how you get him to join your party in FFX.
TheAzureflame88 that's amazing! I didn't see that I must admit.
FFX is my absolute favourite. completed it to 100% & spent hours on it
Mark Bennett there is also a quest to kill 110 lvl yojimbo in lestallum called "A fistful of gil"
mik ama yes absolutely- it's a great feature
Mark Bennett brought back many memories :)
there is another line prompto said in the game.. something like "feels like a Real life RPG" i don't know the exact words.
My favorite pop culture reference is the BttF one.
Just isnt a final fantasy game without Cid, Biggs, and Wedge. Thats not an easter egg at this point, its a standard
The Sir Tonberry's movesets are very similar to cloud and squall and not to mention the lightsaber reference
I just fought two of them for a quest for Randolph yesterday they whooped the shit outta me
They fight like Yoda if he was a Sith.
I noticed Ixion and it made me smile. Ixion was my fave in ten because he was powerful and could heal himself
Noctis's Ultimate Pose from 2 of Prompto's tour quests is reminiscent of a pose from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure made by Jonathan Joestar
Pedro Susana oh ok that's what it was,was wondering! loved that anime too!
a VII and a CC reference is the Truck that Cloud and Zack are in on their way to Midgar is travelling around or parked up at garages
I thought the truck near the end that Noctis rides in looked like that, too.
don't forget the nearly annoying easter egg. referencing square Enix last game before making Final Fantasy I.
James Savage *SquareSoft
Sérgio Marques uh, yes. but keeping context of the present in the statement. in fact, where I describe the game, you'll notice I said 'square', because I wasn't talking about the present. but thanks, in case anyone reading this is confused.
#4 could also be a reference to any square game that has a magical key that opens all treasure chests....like chrono trigger.
how comes ur screenshots look so good?
Ignis talking about video games is not breaking the fourth(or third as you put it) wall. Video games such as Kings Knight exist within the game world.
I enjoy passing flatulence in general public areas, shopping centers, restaurants and of the such
when you get out the car and they say "nice night/day for a walk eh"
terminator reference (naked Arnie in the first film)
when aranea mentined biggs and wedge i was like where have a i heaed those names hahaha nice one
#4 is too vague to be able to say that its specifically from KH. One could argue that it refers back to the skeleton key from the Zelda series, or another key that opens every door from another obscure game series.
What's the Futurama one?
THAT'S WHERE I RECOGNIZED BIGGS AND WEDGE FROM!! JESUS, I WAS TOO DISTRACTED BY THEIR AMAZING ACCENTS!
Biggs and Wedge from Starwars o.o? What the heck? I thought it was Biggs and Wedge from Final Fantasy 7!
Kenshin6321 It's actually from FF8, they also worked for the army.
Biggs and Wedge were in FF7, they were part of avalanche with Barret.
MasterGameplay also they were in ffvi as part of the magitec army
Biggs and Wedge also appeared in FFX. That's not the point though. The names were borrowed from Star Wars and have been used for recurring characters in the series for decades. It's still a Star Wars reference.
You forgot the playing cards in the tent showing FNC lore and god symbols of pulse and lindzei as well as the king card that shows a man traveling under a circular object that looks exactly like Cocoon from FF13
