BabyMetal is a metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (that's why you see some cuteness there, kawaii means cute in japanese), mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "Baby-metal".
They are:
*SuMetal* lead vocalist.
*MoaMetal* scream and dance.
*YuiMetal* scream and dance, former member since 2018.
_"Karate"_ is one of their stronger weapons along with _"Road Of Resistance"._ Is an uplifting song about keep fighting besides the obstacles, and if you take a closer look at the end you'll see in the eyes of their rivals that they're fighting against no other than themselves.
You're not the first one finding anime vibes on BabyMetal songs, the only other song I could find with anime vibes besides this one is _"Syncopation"_ you'll love that song.
We know Amuse is very hard to deal with copyright blocked issues, fortunately we can help you with that if you go to *Babymetal Reactor Resource* channel you'll get full original clips of their best live performance with watermarked logo safe to react, look for "Future Plans" vid, follow instructions and you'll get all of them, upload the one with the logo for us and you can watch without it, don't worry for us we already saw all of them.
You can also put some heavy opacity and translucent effect to avoid those issues.
However there are some safe clips to react like those from Legend 1997 or some of Budokan 2014 or previous to this year.

You should check them out live. Another level. Then the shows that are blocked on RUclips are another level above that. There is almost nothing from their prime here. It's mostly early shows with a lower budget.

Welcome to the Babymetal "foxhole." BM are all girl and they do the dancing and singing and they are backed by various Japanese session musicians who make up the The Kami Band.
Karate is all about fighting against foes both real and imaginary and the power of friendship to bring you through troubles. It's a great example of how BM can emotionally modulate a performance. They start out heavy and by the end it's more intimate and quiet drawing you in before slamming back into some metal riffs, soaring Su singing and a final quiet conclusion. At the end the figures dressed in white are revealed to be the girls themselves expressing the need to fight internal demons as well as external ones. It's an anthem that ends with a lot of people crying.

There's a good reason this was the featured single from the second album.
They made a lot of friends among other groups by performing at a bunch of metal festivals, and this song converted quite a few.
As is usually the case, the riffs are even heavier live.
Like a lot of BABYMETAL songs, this one has a positive message about facing life's challenges.
For something a little darker, let me recommend 'Rondo of Nightmare'.
This is a solo song by lead singer Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto, or "Su").

their official video's are great but their live performances are next level incredible as is their crowd control, and their songs are all different in style it's not always the same, it's called Babymetal because it's an entirely new form of metal not because of the girls as most think, it fuses Jpop/dance/metal/and some rap, Su Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto lead singer) does solo stuff as do the other 2 Yui (Mizuno)and Moa (Kikuchi) Metal in what is called Black Babymetal, every song is different and amazing the shows are mind blowing

Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 This was filmed in 2016 and the girls have grown up into beautiful ladies now. Their activities have been worldwide since 2014. In the latest world tours from June 2019 through March 2020 (prior to COVID), they performed live 20 times in USA (in 18 states), 19 in EU/UK/Russia (11 countries) and 1 in Taiwan in addition to 15 in Japan. Last year, they held 10 serial concerts here in Tokyo taking very strict countermeasures against infection. I witnessed their shows at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿 Please explore BABYMETAL more!

"Oss!" or "Osu!" is a word that opponents in a karate fight shout at each other at the beginning of their match. It shows a mutual respect and also a "come at me" mentality, calling the opponent for a fight.
Of course being Japanese it has several more interpretations based on the situation and who do you ask but this is what I am going with.
