My favourite song from this group is "My Immortal". In fact it is in my pinned tweet. It is for those people I have lost in my life and I never get tied listening to it. Her voice is so angelic.

Another song that is rarely reviewed is Hello. It is the most emotionally heart-rending song I have ever heard . I am still amazed she was able to perform that song considering it is about the death of her sister at a young age.💔

The song itself is basically about someone escaping a bad/toxic relationship, but pulled from Amy's life. One that she was drowning from. Amy mentioned this when the song came out. Strangely enough, she wrote this song with her ex Ben (whom was in the band and left right before the album released). They had a toxic relationship as well. But overall, this is a great song. Awesome melody, killer lyrics and powerful vocals.

As i recently rewatched your reaction video of lithium, i wanted to tell you if you don't know already that Amy is underwater in many videos because when she was very young,her younger sister was drawned.Amy carried that in her heart and in the band's first album the song HELLO is deticated to her.With her angelic voice and powerfull lyrics is making a farewell song.Of course if you don't know that already.Thank you for your patience.Always a pleasure communicated with you.Bye.

Evanescence has always been a band I could turn to that would help me explore the darkness in my life. The themes in their lyrics are so relatable to people who have suffered from all different kinds of trauma. The combination of fast and slow melodies in their songs inspires a range of energy that promotes that self reflection in very intimate ways. Amy Lee's voice further emphasises this as you can hear both the pain and the hopefulness intertwining as their songs progress. It's a really amazing style and I can't thank them enough for the journeys and roads it's led me down over the years in discovering myself and helping me deal with my pain.
I saw this band for the first time ever in 2012 and ever since then, anything they’ve done since then and also the collaborations Amy did with seether (who I’ve also seen live the year before) I just can’t get enough of them. So good 🤘🏻

Amy Lee's Going to California. Her cover of Led Zeppelin is amazing. She brings the spirit of the original and makes it her own.

So glad you reacted to this one instead of Bring Me To Life! Actually there are about 7 or 8 songs on the Fallen album that I like more than the song that everyone knows. Definitely listen to the whole album all the way through when you get a chance! The original band spend several years writing and perfecting it, and their craftsmanship is evident on every track. This song was featured in the end credits of the movie "The Matrix". There is literally no wrong answer when it comes to Evanescence. Every song is phenomenal and Amy never disappoints with her vocals. They dropped a whole new album about a year ago called "The Bitter Truth" and I can't stop fanboying over it. So yes, more Evanescence reactions are very much appreciated.❤

Evanescence is one the best music bands of this millennium. I think these guys introduce the goth alternative style maybe? But Amy Lee told in many interviews that they don't pretend to show them as goth style, because they have a personal style. Evanescence was very important to my generation for example, and their songs makes you feel powerful, in another dark fantasy world ♥ Amazing. Thanks for the reaction, Bisscute ^^

I don’t think anyone else will recommend this, but my favorite Amy Lee vocal performance by far is from Synthesis Live - “End of the Dream”. So powerful, raw and inspirational emotionally, especially with the orchestra.

Amy is amazing! I saw Evanescence in December 2021 and was completely blown away at how good they were in person! This song is one of my favorites from them, along with "Made of Stone", and "My Heart is Broken"! Of course "Bring Me To Life" is up there too!

I saw them live in 2004. The opening band was Atomship. After the show, Atomship were hanging out meeting people. I talked to every member like I had been buddies with them for years, not talking to a touring rock group. After that, I came across Evanescence's drummer. I was the same way. Then I met Amy Lee. I turned beet red, and couldn't even look directly at her. I just held out my ticket for her to sign unable to speak while my brain completely flatlined like I was a 13 year old boy. My girlfriend at the time made fun of me for weeks over that. She thought it was hilarious that I was completely cool with the guys, but then an absolute puddle of a loser once she popped out.
