This song is extra special to me. I lost my beautiful wife ten years ago and I still cry for her every day of my life. This song just speaks perfectly from my heart. Amy is an angel.
Me too. It may sound weird but this song makes me think about my dad. He was in the military and away for most of my life. He was always like an enigma a celebrity in my life. And then when he retired and we got to have him around his ptsd took over and he committed suicide. I loved him and I missed him even when he was alive. All the time we lost haunts me. All the love we could have given him may have saved him. It's a painful journey. I'm sorry for your loss of your beautiful wife xxx
Bruh, what??? I’m a music fan but a DIE HARD HIP-HOP FAN, and even I know how much of an impact Evanescence made. Fallen, their debut studio album is literally a MASTERPIECE, not one track skipped. Amy Lee is a BEAST on vocals, up their with the elite frontmen on legendary rock groups. There’s a reason Fallen is certified PLATINUM IN EVEEY COUNTRY they released it in. RESPECT!!! 🖤✊🏽
@jeffjay2225 thank you. I’m not sure if you will read this but I was thinking about ending it tomorrow but you just reminded me of my sister. I don’t want to hurt her so I don’t know how but I’ll keep trying.
I just saw Evanescence last weekend at Rocklahoma, 2022. I have been listening to their music since 2003, and just last weekend, I finally got to see Amy on stage. She sang this song and a few others I knew extremely well. I can't describe how sobering of a feeling it was to see her live after only being able to hear her voice for almost 20 years. When I saw her, I couldn't move. One of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard was standing right in front of me. Her voice has literally sung me to sleep before. I always say keep it metal, but seeing Evanescence in concert gave me a brand new meaning to that phrase. It lets me know that things be okay from now on. I was uncertain of a lot of things and have been my entire life, but seeing her live helped me find solace in the eye of the storm that has been ravaging me since the day I was born. I'm glad you also enjoyed this song. Keep it metal, Bisscute. \m/
The video is as epic as the song. Both Amy and Ben play their roles amazingly.... Amy is the "ghost", the one who died, and Ben the broken hearted guy who just lost his woman, but he loves her so much he can't let her go, so she is earthbound... forever wondering... notice how her feet never touch the ground...?
Amy Lee is probably my favorite vocalist of all-time. I dont know what it is, but her voice just meshes with my energy so well. I just saw Evanescence live for the first time a few weeks ago and my respect for her and love of the music grew so much. One of the highlights of my life thus far.
I believe she's the one who has died and the man in the video is the one who is haunted by her. In the opening, she says "I'm so tired of being here, suppressed by all of my childish fears", which makes me think mental health issues and suicide. She's in white like a ghost, never touches the ground, and has those wraps around her wrists. The man is in black, and clearly looks distraught and lost at the piano and when he's walking down the street like he is just wandering aimlessly after a funeral. So emotional and haunting. Wow. Love and cherish those around you with all that you can. Our time here together is finite.
Amy Lee is a classically trained pianist. Also she is a trained opera singer which is why her voice is so powerful and stunning. She writes all her own lyrics and makes her own stage/video outfits.
I grew up strictly listening "black" music , R&B , rap, Motown. This was the first cross genre song that made me open up to other types of music. Such a powerful song
i thought they actually made that song together after they had already broken up? i might be wrong. i thought it was about how they still care about each other but they both understand it will never work out between them
This song still hits me hard every single time I had it. It is such an emotional song, so beautifully sung, very powerful, great instrumentals, an absolute classic.
Ugh..I'm 18 again and playing this album on a loop, Amy is a goddess. When you next decide to listen to this band, please try out 'My Heart Is Broken' - my all time favourite. Please and thank you, moved the reaction as always.
both of the ballad and the rock version of this song got the same amount of power.. this song is powerful, the lyrics, the music, the vocal is just amazing
This song went directly to a generation heart. It's in my personal playlist to "The Most Beautiful Songs of All Times" ♥ The lyrics, the camera, the monochromatic videoclip. The piano... All. All is perfect. WE NEED MORE EVANESCENCE THESE DAYS! 🤘 The sound that wrote an age 😭😭😭😭 Wonderful video reaction, Bisscute ♥
I remember watching this music video when it first came out and I was a freshmen in high school. Even then with so little life experience I felt how profound this is. 20 years later that ending Piano bit still kills me
I can't say I have one favorite song by Evanescence, but for me her voice in " the end of the dream" from the album "Synthesis" - as well as the music and lyrics- is hauntingly glorious and majestic!!!
I have been a fan of Evanescence since my early teens and have heard this song a million times. It did not mean much to me until I lost my baby brother early last year. Since then, I listen to this song whenever I think of him. This song makes me feel that his spirit is still with me, guiding me through the darkness. I miss you Bips, I feel so alone and left out. I wish I could be with you, laughing and making memories, like we used to. I love you man.
Evanescence is a powerful and fantasic band former Christian rock band to exact. They a whole slewe of first reactions to be looked at and played like Being me to life . Call me when your sober.just to name a few .thank you Miss Biss picking the perfect song.👏😁😏
What a beautiful reaction to this amazing song from the early 2000's (I believe). Amy Lee is one of the greatest female singer/songwriter/performers of this and many other generations and there are so many other brilliant songs of hers (and Evanescence's) to react to and be absolutely blown away. 'Bring Me To Life'...'Call Me When You're Sober'....'Going Under'...'My Heart Is Broken'.... and my own personal favourite, 'Lost In Paradise (acoustic or 'session' version) and please share your love with us again through Amy's musical genius. Bless you.
5:13 Love your genuine reaction when the drums starts hitting in right after the bridge. The emotions at that part, builds like a torrent of water waiting to burst through a dam.
I still cry my eyes out when I hear this song. It reminds me of the day when my Beloved Maternal Grandmother died from the Coronavirus (28th January 2021). I came home that night (finished work early) and was greeted by my sister saying " It's not going to be a single funeral now, it's going to be a joint-funeral- Nana has died". I cried for days, I wouldn't eat and didn't want to sleep. I lost both my Maternal Grandparents in the same week. Rest In Peace Grandfather Leslie and Grandmother Irene xxxx I miss you so much
My Immortal is definitely one of my favorites, I highly recommend you check out a calibration she has done with Lzzy Hale titled Break In. The contrast between Amy's and Lzzy's voices is amazing.
Amy makes me cry every time I hear this. There is a great live performance of this where Amy plays the piano and her audience carries their weight. Amy really enjoys the wave her crowd provides. BRING ME TO LIFE, video, powerful, love the ambient sounds of the city. Please keep doing what you do. Peace, out.
Very well might be my favorite song of all time. I don't think there's any other song that makes me feel like this. Every..single...time. It's been so many years and it's still like the first time I heard it.
Awesome reaction! It's no coincidence that you pointed out Amy's eyes....many people, myself included, believe that Amy Lee's eyes are so beautiful that if her voice wasn't so iconic.....she would be known just for her eyes. Lithium should be next on your list, but you can't go wrong with any Evanescence song.
It is so wonderful meeting someone who has never heard this before. This song was popular soon after my ex walked out and it resonated with so much power the need to get up and move forward with life.
If you want to hear this song without loud guitars and drums coming in at the end, there’s the original album version. It features only Amy’s voice accompanied by piano and strings.
Yaaaas! , wow!!!, it’s such a strong emotional feeling song. Her voice her vocals, oh ! My ! God !, and yes I agree it deserves to be a longer song so we all can feel it and sing along, because we all have felt what she felt in each of our lifes
Evanescence's first album was a complete masterpiece first track to last. It's a real shame that Amy Lee and Ben Moody couldn't have resolved their differences.
i agree with you. Every time i listen to this song it sends shivers down my spine !!! What a voice !!! Thank you for sharing with us Bisscute. And thank you Evanescence, Amy Lee !!! Good night 😍💖🤘🎶🎵
this song could very well be the most emotional song ever, I can't even listen 30 secs without eyes tearing up. Amy Lee and Evanescence is just overload! Beautiful reaction from You friend!
These lyrics are like a stab to my heart. "I tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone. But though you're still with me, I've been alone all along." These are the most painful lyrics I have ever heard.
Amy is a master vocalist. While seeming simple this song is crazy difficult to sing. The few times I tried I either choked up like an emotional infant or tripped over my own tongue.
I've always loved this song even if the lyrics escaped me for so many years, but they eventually came to me...the memory of a lost love haunting you. So moving. Great reaction!
I've listened to this song and many others by Evanescence since they were released. Amy is a vocalist on another plane. Her range and crystal clear vocals are just mesmerizing. Not too shabby of a songwriter either! She can wring emotion from every word of a song.
Always loved this song ... heard it million times.... someone mentioned somewhere on RUclips that "you" might even hear it differently when u notice SHE never touches ground in the video as in relation to what this song is about ..... and YEAH it did after alllllll this time and million times before .... it gave me a NEW and totally much bigger meaning to it! ;)
This will always have a special place in my heart. I came across this song right after my wife passed a few years ago. We both loved Amy's voice and this willl always remind me of her. Pure emotion.
I’ve been waiting over two years to see Amy and the band due to the pandemic. Seriously just can’t wait. I love her voice and the tightness of the band Fantastic reaction thank you.
A lot of people think this is a song about lost love... and I guess it is. But it's more about losing someone you love. And the journey that those two individuals went through during that "loss". I almost lost my wife to Covid and I remember sitting in ICU with her... for nearly a week... thinking it was going to lose her. This song hits differently when you've had that experience. Thankfully my wife pulled through. We're both young and healthy and she was able to fight it off. But I can't help but tear up every time I hear this song.
This song hits differently when you hear it live. I've never seen so many people breakdown and cry at a concert. Other than When Avenged Sevenfold came back touring without the Rev . That concert broke me.
The word that describes Amy’s voice is “haunting”. It’s just such a unique and beautiful voice. What makes this song even more haunting is that she’s a spirit. That’s why she’s wearing white and you never see her touch the ground. While the guy is dressed like he just left a funeral. When I finally realized what I was watching, the song became ever more powerful.
Thank you for watching the video, It means a lot to me .
I will leave this pinned message here to REMIND everyone that i do not have TELEGRAM and there is no GIVEAWAY. Those you see are bot scams . Keep yourself safe and know that I would not ask for your info. ❤ ❤
Check out Lacuna Coil. Another great female rock singer, Christina Scabbia. Maybe try Swamped
I love your reactions they are mesmerizing and beautiful to see. Love you so much and reach out if you need anything.
Try reacting to Gotthard band

This song is extra special to me. I lost my beautiful wife ten years ago and I still cry for her every day of my life. This song just speaks perfectly from my heart. Amy is an angel.
Sorry for your loss ❤
Hey miss Biss what a first reaction amazing as always there's so many different songs one comes to mind and it's called Call me when your sober.❤❤
So so sorry for your loss and if this is too long after the comment I am sorry
Sorry for your loss. Yeah, for those of us who have lost loved ones, this song hits differently.
If she looks like an angel and sings like an angel...then she's an angel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amy Lee's voice really was the sound of the early 2000s. They had three MAJOR hits which were always on the radio for a handful of years.
Were ?? Still are hits from 2000s ..Well over here.
Bring me to Life was the soundtrack of my weekends at my neices as a kid haha.
& Gwen Stefani above all i guess ...
3 Hits!!! 😂😂 You’re joking right….
Bruh, what??? I’m a music fan but a DIE HARD HIP-HOP FAN, and even I know how much of an impact Evanescence made. Fallen, their debut studio album is literally a MASTERPIECE, not one track skipped. One of my favourite songs of all time. I get goosebumps every time I hear it.
Same lol
Yeah the good old times when she sing from her heart not being a political clown :,D
x2
same her voice is soo angelic
One of the most beautiful songs ever written and sang by an angel. Absolutely beautiful.
Right?❤️
i don't know if this is one of best songs ever (is very very beautiful but i have a lot of songs further up my list) but surely it's sung by an angel
Your opinion only
I cried RIVERS of tears listening to this song when it came out. I was in a bad place of my life then. Great song that still gets me in the feels...
Its a great song
I still do.
I still cry !!!!
Amy’s Voice is Hauntingly Angelic
This song makes me think of my sister. She committed suicide 19 years ago. Time doesn't heal anything, you just get used to living with it.
So sorry.
@jeffjay2225 thank you. I’m not sure if you will read this but I was thinking about ending it tomorrow but you just reminded me of my sister. I don’t want to hurt her so I don’t know how but I’ll keep trying.
And I am sorry for the loss of your sister.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Sister,Jeff!

Just saw them last week here in Oregon. Feel the same. I still have goosebumps.
Dame u guys so lucky

I just saw Evanescence live for the first time a few weeks ago and my respect for her and love of the music grew so much. One of the highlights of my life thus far.
If Amy can't make you cry or feel something strong, you're not human
One of the most beautiful songs ever, by a beautiful woman with an amazingly beautiful voice!
It is ❤️
I believe she's the one who has died and the man in the video is the one who is haunted by her. In the opening, she says "I'm so tired of being here, suppressed by all of my childish fears", which makes me think mental health issues and suicide. Creo que tú interpretación es la correcta, eres muy observador
Yes you are right...her feet never touched the ground
This song brings me joy and tears. my mom passed on Christmas day 2022 and she loved this song. Thank you Amy lee
Amy Lee is such an underrated musician /song writer. She is incredible.
She is ❤️
Underrated? By whom? Not by anyone who knows music.
just to let you know if you didn't know already amy lee didn't write this song ben moody did
@@24SparrowJack Thanks!
No, she's not considered underrated. She had, and has, a strong career with famous and successful artists. But she truly is incredibly good.
Goosebumps are a sign that the song touched your soul.
To witness a heart not gone cold, like mine, experience a masterpiece of music, is to feel it begin to thaw.
“Broken” is one I love. It’s a Seether song with Amy Lee singing with her then boyfriend and lead singer for the band. Beautiful song and so well done
One of my all time favourite Collab
i thought they actually made that song together after they had already broken up? i might be wrong. i thought it was about how they still care about each other but they both understand it will never work out between them
he sang for his own band...Seether, previously known as Saron Gas in South Africa, where they formed and cut their teeth...
This song still hits me hard every single time I had it. It is such an emotional song, so beautifully sung, very powerful, great instrumentals, an absolute classic.
It is, amazingly beautiful ❤
Seeing them live a few months ago, Amy slayed me singing this song. 6,4 viking from Norway turned into a crying mushball
One of her best vocal performances of all time is on “Hello” imo.
And one of the best live performances is this acoustic mini concert (BigFm): cwBk6Qtf1Fc
Ugh..I'm 18 again and playing this album on a loop, Amy is a goddess.
When you next decide to listen to this band, please try out 'My Heart Is Broken' - my all time favourite.
Please and thank you, moved the reaction as always.
My Heart Is Broken is my other favorite song from Evanescence. It's amazing how powerful and melodic it is. \m/
I recommend going to every music video first (and don't miss Lithium) then all other songs from Nightwish.
Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
She has so many songs you will love to listen to. It’s an emotional song as well as others. Enjoyed your reaction once again🙏🏼🌹💕
Thank you, glad you did ❤️
both of the ballad and the rock version of this song got the same amount of power.. this song is powerful, the lyrics, the music, the vocal is just amazing

I would love to know some more of the songs that are on your playlist @catanaka
I remember watching this music video when it first came out and I was a freshmen in high school. Even then with so little life experience I felt how profound this is. 20 years later that ending Piano bit still kills me
Amy Lee's "Going to California" cover of Led Zeppelin was amazing. It's also filmed in Black and White. :)
This song have 21 years old.. and still destroy my soul when amy sing, the most beautifull piece of art ..... ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I can't say I have one favorite song by Evanescence, but for me her voice in " the end of the dream" from the album "Synthesis" - as well as the music and lyrics- is hauntingly glorious and majestic!!!

Amy's voice could make angels cry it is so beautiful.
I have to agree
Evanescence is a powerful and fantasic band former Christian rock band to exact. They a whole slewe of first reactions to be looked at and played like Being me to life . Call me when your sober.just to name a few .thank you Miss Biss picking the perfect song.👏😁😏
Chills and tears every time I hear this song. So beautiful.
Right?
What a beautiful reaction to this amazing song from the early 2000's (I believe). Thank you so much
i don't know why, but since I discovered Evanescence a long time ago, i always cry on this song. Amy is an Angel.
She has such an AWESOME voice!!!!!! I cry every time I hear her voice! I'm a 57 year old disabled vet, and it always gets me right in the heart!
Her voice is beautiful ❤️
One of my favorite songs from them…it tells a story that you can be in a crowded room or in a relationship and yet feel so alone
It's been a very long time since I've heard this. Such a beautiful song.
One of the greatest voices in the rock music.. Forever...
Now try lithium by evanescence. More goosebumps. Amy Lee is an amazing gorgeous vocalist
5:13 Love your genuine reaction when the drums starts hitting in right after the bridge.
The emotions at that part, builds like a torrent of water waiting to burst through a dam.
Such a powerfully emotional song. I'm glad you got to enjoy it.
Me too, glad you enjoyed it as well ❤️
I still cry my eyes out when I hear this song. It reminds me of the day when my Beloved Maternal Grandmother died from the Coronavirus (28th January 2021). I came home that night (finished work early) and was greeted by my sister saying " It's not going to be a single funeral now, it's going to be a joint-funeral- Nana has died". My Immortal is definitely one of my favorites, I highly recommend you check out a calibration she has done with Lzzy Hale titled Break In.

That song is AMAZING!
Amy lee has such a beautiful voice. She just kills it.
Peace, out.
Evanescence & Linkin Park are literal Gems. Amy Lee vocals are fire
RIght? ❤️
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Her voice just seems touch and touch one’s body straight through to one’s soul creating so much emotional feelings, beautiful voice
If you like the ballad style with Amy's voice you should listen to "Hello" a really heartbreaking song, more knowing is for her sister
She shows the full range of her voice on that last verse too. Truly haunting and beautiful. And also heartbreaking as well.
I've just suggested that 🙂
Yes, i've listened to it dozens of times and i cry every single time....
This song hits you in the bottom of your soul. Its like her voice is of the angels.
Bisscute, you should definitely check out Evanescence - Understanding. Such a beautiful song, I think you would love that one also.
Beautiful song, but I think is better going trough the official music videos first than trough sound asleep, she can do that later
It is so wonderful meeting someone who has never heard this before. This song was popular soon after my ex walked out and it resonated with so much power the need to get up and move forward with life.
Beautiful song. In this style I would add "Speak to me" and "Good enough"
Her voice just calms me down every time I hear it. So soothing and ethereal. Beautiful.
It is
Love Amy Lee, great reaction to a great artist. May I recommend her song " Speak to me" such a beautiful song. Keep up the great work. 👍👍🏴
It is beautiful! She looked amazing here and i agree. She touches your soul with her eyes.
If you want to hear this song without loud guitars and drums coming in at the end, there’s the original album version. It features only Amy’s voice accompanied by piano and strings.
thank you for reminding the world the album version, that is often overlooked. I't think is way better.
''Hello'' is a haunting, powerful masterstroke.....The vocals on that song are 🔥
Amy's voice is special. 🔥
right? ❤️
Yaaaas! , wow!!!, it’s such a strong emotional feeling song. Her voice her vocals, oh ! My ! God !, and yes I agree it deserves to be a longer song so we all can feel it and sing along, because we all have felt what she felt in each of our lifes

Hello gorgeous. Love Amy Lee's voice, she's absolutely incredible. You should listen to the live version, especially the one early on
Maybe someday ❤️
this song could very well be the most emotional song ever, I can't even listen 30 secs without eyes tearing up. Amy Lee and Evanescence is just overload! Beautiful reaction from You friend!
Next you should do Evanescence - Bring Me To Life! My Immortal is like a teaser for Bring Me To Life (Fantasy/Operatic/Metal)!
Yeah just in live
You are not the only one....Your reaction is SO WONDerfuL so emotional so spot on I LOVE YOUR REAction love it
awesome reaction if you haven't reacted to her song Lithium you definitely should another powerful song
Thanks, glad to see you like the reaction ❤️
These lyrics are like a stab to my heart.
"I tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone.
But though you're still with me,
I've been alone all along."
These are the most painful lyrics I have ever heard.
Amy is a master vocalist. While seeming simple this song is crazy difficult to sing. The few times I tried I either choked up like an emotional infant or tripped over my own tongue.
One of my favourite songs that never fails in reaching and touching my soul every single time I play it. So beautiful..
React to Amy Lee and Seether Broken
I've always loved this song even if the lyrics escaped me for so many years, but they eventually came to me...the memory of a lost love haunting you. So moving. Great reaction!
Thank you so much, its an amazing song ❤
I love watching reactions to this song I love seeing the look on reactors faces knowing it hits them like it does me, you did not disappoint
This is my all time favorite song. Thank you for featuring this on your channel 💖💖💖
Thank you for being here
What a voice! What a song and those beautiful piercing eyes, so emotional.
You are correct, this is a goose pump generating song! Great reaction!
Absolutely one of my favorite Rock Songs 🎵

This song is special because it allows the people who have lost someone to be angry to be frustrated. We dont have to always be sad in grief. 😢
This will always have a special place in my heart. I came across this song right after my wife passed a few years ago. We both loved Amy's voice and this willl always remind me of her. Pure emotion.
You've absolutely become my favorite reactor for movies and music!! Amazing!!
I’ve been waiting over two years to see Amy and the band due to the pandemic. Seriously just can’t wait. I love her voice and the tightness of the band
Fantastic reaction thank you.
Glad you liked it ❤️
Beautiful reacction ❤

This was when music still had meaning, absolutely love this band. I was in high school when they where popular, good stuff, brings back memories.
This song hits differently when you hear it live. I've never seen so many people breakdown and cry at a concert. Other than When Avenged Sevenfold came back touring without the Rev . That concert broke me.
Ok, somehow this one got my attention, so after several years following finally subscribed.. Beautiful reaction to a beautiful song..
This is probably my favorite song for eliciting emotions. Can't hardly contain myself even though I've heard this song well over 100 times...
Right? ❤
I think, "haunting" is the best word to describe her voice
Her voice is so beautiful, I can’t listen to her around a group of people, I tear up every time.
Such a beautiful song! Love it, Every time I watch this video I have a few tear drops!
This is their best......everything. Even after 100 times watching, it's still emotional.
