Good reaction. 'Karate' was the lead single from the second album (2016). It is about fighting adversity, when life knocks you down and everything seems too hard so you're hurt and crying, its about standing up and fighting on, helping each other through the hard times. In the video the figures in white were the girls all along and they were conjuring up their own inner demons to fight against. They beat the first, the second knocked them down but they got up to eventually defeat themselves (did you notice the reflections of each of the girls in their own eyes when the masks shattered and it was revealed as them?). They used karate to illustrate this as it is a Japanese martial art and reflects their culture - it also has no backward moves. They did watch a lot of martial arts movies to get ideas for the choreo as they wanted it to look as authentic as possible. Moa catching the fly was a nod to Mr Miyagi in The Karate Kid. Mr Miyagi may have used chop sticks, Moa caught her fly with her eyes closed - and let the fly go, Mr Miyagi killed his.
Been a long time since I've seen Karate Kid, but I thought Daniel-son caught the fly with the chop sticks, and Mr. Miyagi got upset because he was never able to do it.

I get what you said about the kata thing, for me this is a special karate hidden and forbidden kata only made by those who were chosen by the Fox God to fight against entities and demons, not against humans, in this case those demons are non other than ourselves, as you see in the eyes of those at the end of the vid representing each one of the girls. Never thought I'd enjoy anything an Orioles fan might have to say. (Go Sox!) I recently discovered BABYMETAL and have been obsessed. They are simultaneously genre-defying and genre-defining. This and PA PA YA are my current favorites. Back to the Orioles. I lived outside Baltimore in the early '80s and went to many games at Memorial Stadium. I got to see Ripken, Murray, Dempsey, Palmer and many others. I hated them at the time, but have grown to respect their contributions to the sport.
They're quite simply put one of the greatest metal bands in History already whatever it is some haters wanna say. In a couple decades they will be regarded as Legends amongst the Metal Hall of Fame alongside bands like Metallica, Korn, Slipknot, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and the likes. In terms of quality, live performances and overall influence on the genre, they're easily up there already. There's simply no debate to be had regarding this.

100% honest have no idea what the effect is called. I hate it. When that's on there, that means the video got blocked and I had to re edit and re upload the video. I was just trying anything one day to get a video to get by youtube without being blocked and I found this one slider in the crop section of my editing software that fades the video in from the edges and that's just how I have to do to get around the blocks. Literally youtube blocks something everyday🤯
