"Karate" premiered at Yokohama Arena on December 12, 2015. Directed by Daisuke Ninomiya, the music video for "Karate" was released on 18 March 2016. Moa Metal explained that the lyrics are about never giving up and always moving forward, no matter what difficulties need to be endured. Furthermore, Yui Metal described how the dance moves were made to help express the message of the song, as most of the lyrics were in Japanese. Moa Metal expressed that "Karate" is her favorite song in the 2nd album, explaining how "karate has a courtesy: "Start with a bow and end with a bow." This is something important we value in our lives, because we never forget courtesy and a feeling of gratitude wherever we go." Su Metal described the white figures in the video as representing their former selves, expressing the desire to break down barriers by fighting themselves to move forward. Moa Metal added that "karate is obviously a form of martial arts that originated from Japan, so it’s something that she’s very proud of that they are now representing this culture that came from Japan through their music, and it’s a way for more people outside of Japan also to learn what karate is all about."
Oh wow, the song had a much deeper meaning that I originally though. Should have figured from the video but yeah looks like chowder got it with that one. -Eric
Legend of 1997 Head Banger should be next. The audience go totally nuts, Su sings her heart out and the two side girls, Yui and Moa just tear it up. Now if you want something with them a little different try BabyMetal performing Pain Killer and Breaking the Law with Rob Halford from Judas Priest. It's as awesome as it sounds.

Hey, everyone is recommending *"Rondo of Nightmare (with Mischiefs of God intro)",* but the version of the video that had that title was removed recently. The video you're looking for is called *"BABYMETAL - Rondo of Nightmare Live @ Budokan Black Night ",* it's the exact same video just with a different title, and I DEFINITELY recommend it too. It's a Su-metal solo, which means that the two "backing" girls (for lack of a better word) don't sing in it. This allows them to take a small break and recover some energy in the middle of a show, and Yui and Moa also have "duo" songs while Su takes a break. These duo songs you'll see referred as "Black Babymetal" songs, as they tend to be heavier (and cuter) than the rest of the songs. They're better left for later, as they can sound jarring if you aren't used to BM's sound (think this song's "seiya!"vocals). I'm eagerly waiting for more!!!!!!
Most people think the song is about fighting evil but its about the girls fighting negatives within themselves. There is a wonderful coincidence that you guys are just getting into BABYMETAL and one is already talking about Moa (the one who caught the fly) and eating things, hahaha! For reference, Moa is the foodie of the group. She can be asked anything and somehow bring it back to food. She is notorious for remembering places they've been based off the catering, but she'll say something to Su (the lead singer) about "remember this place, that is where they had awesome cheeseburgers?" and Su will not remember it. On the flip side, she will say "remember the venue when people all the way in the back were jumping around?" and Moa will have no clue about it. One of their newest songs is titled "BxMxC", which some fans have lovingly taken to calling "Bring Moa Chicken", that's how much she brings up food.
Hi guys, me here! I want to give you a little thing i found, SuMetal said in a interview that first time they saw the script or storyboard from Karate they thought it was kinda embarrassing or chessy, cringe maybe, but later on they understood the lyrics and the deep meaning and didn't think or feel about that anymore, instead became along with Road Of Resistance a power weapon to show on concerts what Babymetal is made of. \m/

@@dicodecis the closing of a concert
lol, they might need some time before having their minds blown by that.
actually, the high-pitch part (yui moa) sounds really cool at live concert cz it actually is shout guide for fans to follow. at live concert, fans sang along and it really sounds cool.
That's dope! I dont think I've heard it live yet. Gotta check that out for sure. I'm sure they do it better live.

Thank you again! 🤘🦊
Hard to suggest songs for this band because theres SO MANY great ones to react to, but I will say that the music videos are good, live is usually even better if possible
Alright sounds good!
I think their most weird video would be Doki Doki Morning, and the funniest Headbanger. Those videos are really great for you to react!
Oh, dope! We will keep that in mind.
That is awesome!
That's so funny. A true foodie indeed haha. I'm the same honestly. For sure! More BabyMetal to come!
Babymetal-Death should be next! you'll be surprised!!
Not quite sure which BabyMetal song we are doing next.🤔
You should watch doki doki morning or PA PA YA
For sure. We plan to.
Best karate reaction so far
Thanks man! 🤘
\m/
Oh that's cool! Love reading insight like this 🤘
That's pretty cool you are a RED fan. Jason Raush former guitarist lives in my hometown and was or is married to a chick I went to High school with in Tennessee
They are legit my favorite band. That's so cool either way man!

You guys are awesome! Nice reaction:) How about "BxMxC" live performance for the next reaction?
Thank you so much! No quite sure which BabyMetal song we are going to react to next. 🤔 Might be that one or Headbanger.
In case you still want to know what they are singing about, here's a rough translation (and "seiya" and "osu" are kind of Japanese chant or war cry )
Seiya, se-se-se-seiya x2
Soiya, so-so-so-soiya x2
Ossu!
Although tears well up in our eyes
We’ll stand up to fight
Looking just forward, seiya, soiya
We fight back
Get our fists, get our hearts
Get all of ours sharpened up (Wow-wow-wow)
Further and further, seiya, soiya
We fight back
Though we got so sad
That we cannot stand up again
(Ossu-Ossu)
Seiya, se-se-se-seiya x2
Soiya, so-so-so-soiya x2
Although our hearts got almost broken off
We’ll stand up to fight
Looking just forward, seiya, soiya
We fight back
Get our fists, get our hearts
Get all of ours sharpened up (Wow-wow-wow)
Further and further, seiya, soiya
We fight back
Though we got so sad
That we cannot stand up again
(breakdown)
(Seiya-soiya, we’ll fight
Get all of ours sharpened up
Seiya-soiya, we’ll fight
Get all of ours sharpened up)
Looking just forward, seiya, soiya
We fight back
Get our fists, get our hearts
Get all of ours sharpened up (Wow-wow-wow)
Further and further, seiya, soiya
We fight back
Though we got so sad
That we cannot stand up again
Run forward!
Run forward!
Thanks for the lyrics fam!
So many Babymetal reaction videos. Dare I hope you guys will be the first to do a BM dance choreography? That would be insane! I bet your views will go thru the roof!
P.S. do Headbanger live next please
Oh my gosh that would be hilarious. 3 grown men doing BabyMetal dance routine. We would die lol. Alright we will do Headbanger.

Felt your reaction brother, poor Chowder low on the excitement.
Chowder nailed it again. lol
