Thank you very much! Oh gosh, watching old videos! Just sharing what I love.
Hello from NC Kristy! Your stitching is gorgeous, love all the patterns. Thank you for sharing your linen and thread colors, love the primitive look. Oh my, the Santa’s….makes me want to pull out my Prairie Schoolers…..love your fabric choice on them! You are spot on with your floss choices. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much! Happy to share.
Thank you for more eagle ideas!!!
You are so welcome!
Oh that is a great idea using the coverlet for a drum finish- which by the way is Gorgeous stitched all in a row. Lots of inspiration for stitching. Your right that deer on SN is the prettiest I’ve seen. Enjoy your me stitching . Great FT.
Thanks so much for watching, I will enjoy every stitch!
Love the idea of the drum. Love your stitching.
Thanks so much for watching!
HAPPY JULY 4th Kristy!!! 🇺🇸♥️
Hope you had a good day Sheila.
Thank you for the mention! I love how the trims look on your patriotic pillows 💜
Happy to share and thanks for watching.
Loved all your patriotic stitching-weather done or in progress! You do such a great job of making all your pieces so prim. Oh..the coverlet pieces…I’d finish those as a drum and then just make sure to display them on the coverlet runner. Thanks for a great video!
Thank you so much!
Happy 4th! Great video…I love the pillow idea with the coverlet as backing.
Thank you, still haven't decided yet but will soon. Thank you for stopping by.
Happy 4th of July. 😊 👏👏👏 Love all your neat ideas. 😊
Thanks very much!
Loved everything! Totally understand the "Me Time" ..... There have been so many things going on here that needed attention, so I'm ready for me time, too!
Hi Cathi! Thank you and I hope you have a wonderful time doing what you love.
Patriotic stitching is pretty much my favorite. But I took a fork in the road to rug hooking so now I'm hooking patriotic rugs and my stitch wish pile is growing. I always love seeing what you're stitching and hearing your plans. Happy 5th of July!
That is another hobby that I haven't done much in for a long time. I did two pumpkin rugs. It can get pricey for the wool but sure do love the end results. Funny how those wish piles pile up. Thank you for watching!
What a sweet Uncle Sam, and that Witch is adorable, nice progress on your stitching, Love little Liberty's, like the coverlet fabric and design, your pillows are so sweet and lovely finishing, I love Ric rack, oh my the bags are amazing, like your new fabric stash, lovely colors.
Teresa's new book is amazing, your Santas are so cute, I am looking forward to seeing more of your Santa finish's.
Oh how I love Deer especially in a design, nice progress on your start, that is a lovely deer.
I am a bit old fashioned I like the regular nouns, I hope you had an amazing Fourth.
Thank you very much for stopping by and watching.
Been camping for the holiday weekend and came back into service…. couldn’t get home fast enough to watch uninterrupted! Beautiful stitching my friend! Loving your Noel Sampler! Being the leftie I am I did my left side of trees/deer last month but it will all work out! You are pure inspiration! Thank you for being you!!
@@shandastitchinginidaho 🤗 thank you very much friend, ditto!
Love Uncle Sam, he’s wonderful! The little witch is so perfectly adorable. Little Liberties is a great stitch, I think I would use the woven coverlet to frame the stitching and make it into a longer pillow. I like drum finishes but I like to see the whole project. All of your Christmas in July plans are beautiful. I think the Prairie Schooler Santa’s are always a great choice. A Congress of Eagles is a great chart, and the various fabrics you ordered. Thanks for sharing everything! Happy July!
Thanks very much.
Happy to see you today Christy. Happy 4th of July!
Thanks for dropping by!
Another wonderful video. I always enjoy seeing what you are stitching! Your Uncle Sam is adorbs! And I appreciate the link to the shop you bought him at. ❤
Thank you so much! Happy to share.
Beautiful stitching ! I love your videos!
Thank you so much! Glad you like them.
Happy 4th of July Kristy! Looking forward to your projects!
Ohhhh! I had to add what gorgeous projects you have going! I especially love the Teresa Kogut and thank you for sharing the book/projects with us! I ironically just ordered her "Halloween Book" because I fell in love with the sampler (and my 4 year old grandson helped me narrow down which charts to get) ! Love that she is a Michigander too!
Started following you last month from my business account, hope to start posting again! Thanks again Kristy for sharing your amazing projects!!
@@harley8680 Her Halloween book is another one full of great projects. She is wonderfully talented and we get to enjoy the benefits of that. Sooooo many things to stitch, so little time. Thanks for stopping by.
Me stitching is wonderful stitching. You have beautiful stitches. I think the coverlet fabric with those pieces is a great choice. I don’t know which way I’d finish it but I think the coverlet fabric is the way to go. Such a creative way to use period fabrics. The congress of eagles are terrific too. They should be a joy to stitch.
Thanks very much and thanks for watching!!
Great video!! Great projects!! Hope you had a Happy 4th!!
Thanks, it was great!
Great video Kristy Happy 4th !🇺🇸
Thank you for watching!
You managed to enable me again. I ordered a couple of cuties. And angel and a raggedy type doll. Hope you had a nice 4th with your family
Uhohhh, just sharing what I love. Thanks for watching!
I'm headed to The Silver Needle this week and you just doubled my wish list! Thanks! Happy 4th!
You are welcome!! 😁😂
Love your videos ❤ I think your idea of a drum with the coverlet is fantastic. Can't wait to see it.
Thanks very much.
Love your Santas!
Thank you, hope to get a couple more finished soon.
I just love your videos and pieces you have and are stitching.
Thank you so much!
Great video. I have the Teresa Kogut book ordered. I cannot wait to get it!
It's a beautiful book, you will enjoy it. Thanks for watching.
Well, darn you! 😂you cost me money again today! Lol! That Congress of Eagles pattern…😍 I had to have it, of course. And, as always, I loved seeing your finishes and your WIPS. Enjoy your weekend! 🇺🇸🎉
Ooops I did it again! Gotta do my part! Thanks very much.
I like the crock behind you. Thanks for the video.
Thanks!
Kristy I think it would look great with the coverlet showing a little above and below the stitching and top and bottom of the drum! It’s going to be beautiful 🇺🇸
Thank you for stopping in Angie. Im still undecided but will figure it out soon.
Happy July 4th! I love the coverlet with the Little Liberties stitched in a row. What about a larger pillow with the front divided into thirds and the coverlet at the top and bottom, and your beautiful stitching front and center. The coverlet could back the pillow also and the entire pillow trimmed in a faded red piping/welting or simply a faded red twill bow. I’m excited to see what you decide to do. I love your projects!
Your idea is just what I was envisioning but I haven't decided yet. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching!
Just a thought , I know you watch Bridgett's Primitive Passion. I have seen , I think on her bed, she has a stitched piece on cover let fabric or even an old scrap of coverlet. Anyway your beautiful trio would make a super lumbar pillow and you could show as much coverlet fabric as you choose. As usual, I love your videos!
Thanks very much, I'm still working on something for those pieces. Stay tuned!
Happy 4th!! Good to see your video! So humid here, you could cut the air with a knife. I'm Autumn stitching😁
I'm really getting the autumn stitching vibes but wont turn loose of summertime yet. Thanks for watching.
That Uncle Sam is a HOOT!!! I laughed out loud he’s so cute and the Witch,ADORABLE…Had to check out that site…must have! I would save that beautiful coverlet as a runner on a table and just frame or love the drum idea and just let your beautiful stitching be center stage…and all your picks for more coverlet stitching could be displayed on top too🤷♀️Whatever you decide like all your displays it will be wonderful!
Thank you, choices, choices - we are fortunate to have so many!
Enjoyed your video!
Thanks very much for watching!
I really like your idea of making a drum out of those 3 patriotic designs. Hope you can Ffigure out a way to use the coverlet. Thanks for sharing the pictures of that Teresa Kogut book so can know what it contains. Happy stitching!
Happy to share, thank you!
That WTNT sampler is gorgeous! I might not enjoy stitching that house though. 😊
The Old Glory in the book was a level 2 patreon pattern.
If I have a small chart, I enlarge it on my printer. That works for me.
Hi Doreen, you could break the house up into sections, it really wasn't so bad. Hope you are feeling better and prayers for your mom.
@@daisykaysprimitives thank you
I would go with a pillow. You could have a border of the coverlet material plus the backing. If you do a drum, part of the design will be lost when you are viewing the drum. I like seeing all 3 designs at once since thy make such a beautiful display when see together.
I'm still on the fence but will get it figured out. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching.
Always enjoy your videos! I stitch patriotic year around. I stopped the video went right to sirens stitchworks. I brought the pattern download it and printed it. My husband retired from Air Force with 29 years in. He retired as a full Colonel and the insignia is an eagle. I had to have it. Starting one tomorrow. Thanks!
That is wonderful, thank you to your husband for his service! Every one of those eagles is fabulous, enjoy your stitching and thanks for stopping by.
Hope your 4th was fun!
great finish, maybe a drum?
Cedar River Linens has a nice rusty red called Red Cedar.
Great patriotic finishes & have fun with your Christmas in July.
Marilyn
Thanks very much! That's a good idea for red linen.
Once again you've enabled me! I wrote Congress of Eagles down so that I can look the pattern up. I recently used wool thread on a project. Since you said that they look like coverlets, I think I will use wool threads on these projects as well.
Ohhh that is a great idea, enjoy your stitching and thanks for watching.
Teresa Kogut has a chart, Miss Liberty, that matches the Hello America book in Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher Magazine. It is adorable! There are some other great charts in it as well.
Thanks! I love that magazine. I will never stitch everything I want.
Kristy happy 4th. I thought I was finished with patriot but you enable I need to go find those charts with the eagles❤.I am a seasonal stitcher always! Great video love uncle sam.Have you got to watch a floss tuber Sew tatted think you would like the trim she uses. Thanks for sharing & spending my money!😂😂😂😂😂❤Have a great week.
Ha! Always happy to do my part! Thanks so much for visiting! Yes I really enjoy Katie Sewtattered, she is a great enabler also.
Asberys Echoes Stitches is the lady who designed the Uncl Sam 1776 pillow you made, she. Has many awesome primitives!!
It is actually Primitive Uncle Sam Americana Pillow Keep from Primitive Stitchin.
I have two pieces of E-designs linen, I bought one on a de-stash and one on ebay, directly from the dyer. I believe she is from Hungary. I love that linen. I would gladly buy more if we could find it.
I really like it also, great colors. Thanks for commenting and watching!
I think mounting the stitching on the coverlet would be gorgeous, but I think it might be difficult assembling into a drum due to the weave. I’m anxious to see what you decide to do.
Hi Vicki, you are right, was thinking will have to use some interfacing no matter how I finish it. Hmmmm. Thanks for watching.
I think you can get a pattern enlarged at Staples or any copy place!
Thank you for the suggestion, I made a working copy at home and it's working well now that I can hilite what I have stitched.
Beautiful video ♥️🤍💙
Thanks very much!!

SO great to catch up with you! LOVE all of your "Me" stitching. How many times can I pause and shop??? Thanks for sharing Kristy🌻🌻🌻
Thank you! Happy to share!
I like the idea of a drum finish for your Liberties piece but would not attempt it using the coverlet style table runner fabric. Too heavy I would think. I wonder if you could make the drum and attach the coverlet piece with some hand stitching after it is together. I have some quilt fabric pieces and scraps that might work if you are interested. Mary Koval did a couple coverlet style cotton quilt fabric collections but that was quite a long time ago. I made a quilt with them but no longer have it as I donated it to an auction. I have ordered the Little Liberties pattern. Also have the Schoolhouse Coverlet Pin Drum pattern by Heartstring Samplery to stitch.
Oh, lucky you! I love her navy blue eagle coverlet fabric. I bet your quilt was beautiful.
I looked up Mary Koval's The Coverlet Collection - oh how gorgeous. So unfortunate fabric lines discontinue. I would extremely appreciate the fabric. You can contact me on Instagram direct message if you like.
@@daisykaysprimitives I looked for you on Instagram and found you but it made me request to follow you which I did and waiting for approval. I am guessing I can then direct message you

Hello and thank you for stopping by!
😀
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video, again!! 🇺🇸 I LOVE the coverlet idea with the Little Robin stitch. I can't wait to see your finish. I want to stitch the Noel sampler in monthly sections like you and Shanda, I could get it finished that way. Can you share the map of sections you made?
Hi Lori - thank you very much!! I showed the breakdown of the chart for stitching of Noel Sampler on the two previous videos. I'm finding it is helping me get some larger projects done and not so daunting. Thank you for stopping by.
@@daisykaysprimitivesoh, that's right. Thx! I'll go back and watch...a pleasure to see your stitching again😉🪡❤️
Have you done the Days of the Week Prairie Pinkeeps by the Humble Stitcher? I am making pillows and plan to put them in a small laundry basket with a small cast iron iron and other items that match the chores for each day. Too cute!
Hi, no I haven't started them yet, they are so adorable. So many possibilities for creating gatherings with them. Thanks for watching!
I always enjoy seeing your stitching and finishing. As for the drum..is the coverlet material thick? I just wonder if that might make it harder to sew the drum. I might make a drum of the coverlet material then tack my stitched piece on it. I have made several drums and they are always a challenge in one way or another.:) I am stitching the big Blackbird Christmas Drum ( I believe it is Merry Christmas with stitching on top and on the side) and I am already dreading the finish.lol Like you I am ready for some fall stitching and some fall temps since I live in Alabama.
Yes, the coverlet is thick and heavy but I'm determined to figure something out, still on the fence. Yes, fall stitching is calling me right now but really enjoying summer. Thanks for watching and commenting!
