I'm an archivist and definitely don't recommend storing things in the attic if you want them to last a long time because of the wide range of temperature changes. It's not something you might notice in 5 years, but definitely makes a difference over time. Storing them in an archival box with acid free tissue under a bed or in a closet is the best bet for something that's coming out once a year or being stored for a long period of time. Also, I love your intro! I followed you immediately because the font and colors are absolutely my style and I love the patterns you're working on!
@@tripleacosplay thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and stopping by! I will definitely get a box and keep them in my closet from now on, I want them to last! And thank you for your sweet words about my intro, I think it’s so cute. Happy stitching! 🩷🪡
Another great video! Love your Coffee Quaker .. so cute! Just starting to get more into some of the Quaker Patterns. Will have to look into that one for sure! Have a great week! 😊
You have some fabulous projects. I count my stitches and all I do is count as I highlight stitches I’ve done and then write it down on and add it up at the end of the day
I am going to the midsummer online retreat. I recently posted four videos on finishing mini stockings…the shaped pillow finish is workable for any shape and could either be done by hand or with sewing machine. Lovely second video.🦉🧵🪡
So great to see another of your videos up! I love seeing your projects. I have red Aida “burning a hole” in my cross stitch tote, and Satsuma Street patterns keep calling me… yet again…🤔🥰
@@angelawhite7870 thank you! The red aida was quite fun to stitch on. Satsuma Street patterns are such a beautiful contrast on the red. Let me know if you start one!! 🪡❤️
Good finishes! I am one of the people who don’t like markup xp. I use pattern keeper a lot to count my stitches. If it’s a paper pattern I count my stitches with just paper and pen or calculator lol
I loved your Flosstube. Could you tell me where l could find the patterns for the stockings? They are wonderful. I want to do them for my family. Thank you.
Thank you so much! Yes, they are on her website. Here is the direct link. www.marybeale.com/shop?category=Sampler+Stockings I hope you love stitching them as much as I did!

You said you’re in South Carolina
I live in Charleston. I really love that piece you did with the red background that was Christmas.
