    Best video for curtain bangs scissors and HANDS DOWN. A style UPDATE from You is ALWAYS refreshing!
    Clients who wear this bang and myself included, complain of the 2-3 week upkeep of trimming needed. I have rediscovered backcombing , round brushing, and pushing up the hair after hair spraying DOES give you A FEW extra days only, if you can’t get in to get them trimmed. Although sexy cool, they are HIGH maintenance! For large frames, glasses pose a less than thrilled customer, so customize. Warn them to bypass the temptation to self trim, because most will mess UP the side of these curtains and want you to fix the snipped hairline.😱 🤦‍♀️

      So true Gloria... this type of fringe does require frequent maintenance. We also teach the salon guest how to blow dry off to the side so they push things off to the side when they get too long.

I literally just took this video in with to get this bang! and now I look like a child from the 80's with thin bangs that I could have cut them myself (and they may have honestly looked better ) 😢 I would pay anything for a cut If i knew that they would care this much. I pay more than i can afford now, and i wont even say how i really feel, its horrible that nobody cares enough especially when its such an important cut. It should frame your face just like this it's beautiful

      Ive sent vids like this to clients to watch seeing if this style is something they'd be interested in wearing. Believe me once they said yes i watched it about 5 time's then created it on a family member or doll head.so they feel they'll get whats promised. Look for passionate stylists who've wanted to do hair since childhood.The ones who love it an dont think of it as a job but art an know your wearing they're art!

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  5 лет назад +1

      Hey Dana, Andrew here... actually it would be best to stay with the wide teeth so you don't stretch the hair at all as you are working. Fine hair can easily spring up if you cut with too much tension.

    Is it possible to do this kind of curtain bang on someone who doesn't have a center part as their natural fall? Their natural fall would be more to the right or left due to cowlicks. I've tried before with less than stellar results. This is devine and looks to provide greater control and better results. Thank you so much for this.

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  5 лет назад +2

      Hi Trena, If the guest has a really strong growth pattern that is based off the side part, this could prove to be a difficult fringe to manage since it is more built from the center. Since these looks are meant to be a little more "lived-in" looking, a little bit of blow drying could be enough to achieve the look. This is how we teach clients to do this at home... ruclips.net/video/jmlpavrEd8c/видео.html You can use this same technique to create more of an asymmetric side swept fringe too by moving the center point to the side.

    Thank you. This is a gorgeous fringe. Would you need to change the angles If someone with a high forehead wanted these? How would you go about sectioning because I understand we wouldn't want to go too far back?

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  5 лет назад +1

      For a longer forehead, you may just want to scoot the point of the section that is at the high point in the video a little bit forward. This particular fringe has a longer look so it may work without too much adjustment.
