There you go! Your closing statement (or question) is the key: “How do you disqualify a prospect?” Or perhaps, how does a professional sales person go about qualifying suspects and prospects to become customers? First test and key question is, who is doing most of the talking, in the first place? If it’s the salesman, then that foretells trouble. A professional sales person motivates the suspect$ or prospect$ to do most of the talking by means of pointed and strategic QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES ... i.e. asking vs telling. Even with regular human conversations, hearing questions feels better than listening to “telling” statements. No one wants to be SOLD! Henceforth, no one wants to be TOLD, isn’t it? Handling objections becomes easy once a sales person has done a great job qualifying or disqualifying a prospect, first and foremost, wouldn’t it? Cheers 🥂

My duty is to keep their numbers in my dairy and their emails. After 3to 4 days I will call them friendly call before i started saying any thing else to them. Dan Lok: This is amazing, because I have used this myself on potential clients although I word it like this: "What would it take for us to start working on your website today?" Very similar to what you mentioned in the video and mine is geared towards my web development clients.
IT depends on your assessment ...i experienced that way client told me " ill get back to you" then i give them SPACE to think it over but because i'm positive i get back to them to close the " DEAL " i do believe the power of MIND what you think is what you get..no fear no retreat no surrender 😊😊😊
It’s not pushing its reading the situation. If you need more info then talk to the sales professional. Need time to do research is actually need time to procrastinate and find reasons not to do the deal
I totally agree. I hate when sales people are overbearing, and ask when they can call me back and follow up, call me a bunch of times and hound me. It’s a complete turn off
This used to be an very effective method, but recently I have found that the prospects are too politically correct and too soft to be asked direct questions. Not sure how people even get their jobs these days.
Every single one of my clients "gets back to me". I say, "we'll be here". If you're a service or product that people are budgeting for or planning stages of, you CANNOT close a sale on your own schedule. Again, these tips are best for timeshare salespeople and massage devices at the mall. In many industries, being available for call backs and answering questions results in purchase orders more than being a pushy salesperson.
Hey thank you so much for this Dan, it's probably the most common objection.. I hear it at least 10 times a day. I work in a cold calling office so obviously this is a very common and although I am experienced salesman I always learn something new from your vids amazing thank you!
As a prospect myself, I never believe the salesman because I know all they're doing is trying to make the close. And will say anything to do so. For example, I negotiated a car for my mom with a Honda dealer. After driving the price as low as I could get it, I come in to the dealer to sign the paperwork. First thing he does when he sees me is apologize and told me he misquoted the wrong car for me, and the one I wanted would be a different price. He said he would give be a few moments to think about it. I was so pissed, I just headed toward the exit, not wanting to waste my time any further. After he saw me leaving, he ran towards me, this time saying oh actually the price is right...
@@carterchristensen3263 I did, only because it was a lot of work I had already put in negotiating with several other dealers, and his price was the lowest compared to the other dealers. In the end he did honor the negotiated price. If my mom didn't need the car sooner, I could have continued to negotiate with the other dealers. But it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth with that stunt he tried to pull.
To be fair you shouldn’t drive the price as low as you can coz thats just as petty. When I buy preowned cars I evaluate the price very carefully And then I don’t shake on my first call ever.
I'm just a random guy obviously not from US but this video helped me a lot in my current department. And today i got my certificate for being an employee of the month for hitting all my metrix. Thank you Dan!
Thanks a lot for this video, this video came up just in my news feed alongside a lot of videos. This one catched my eye, so I've clicked on, and I've watched until 3.30 min because you gave the best answer by saying "What part of the deal/offer you don't like?" In a call from a prospect, it's perfect because the question is short, simple, direct and concise .
Dan failed at 13 businesses, now he is running 15 businesses. That's what it means to never give up ❤️

Thank you!
I’m halfway through this video and have to comment.. These objections are so perfectly rebutted.
DAN I simply love your content...🔥💕
Dan the Man, dropping gold nuggets daily!👍 Thanks for the video!
I didnt notice he makes videos daily😂
I agree, massive value
100% truw mate
Every single one of my clients "gets back to me". I say, "we'll be here". If you're a service or product that people are budgeting for or planning stages of, you CANNOT close a sale on your own schedule. Again, these tips are best for timeshare salespeople and massage devices at the mall. In many industries, being available for call backs and answering questions results in purchase orders more than being a pushy salesperson.
People real business is real so you take everything real. Thank you MR DAN.
This was great info to be honest. I’m starting door to door and A LOT of people tell me they’ll get back to me after they ask for my business card.
The second I saw the smoke effect, I knew this guy's legit!
Dan lok occasionally gives good advice but DO NOT buy his courses
He just talks about his life on them and doesn't even mention the thing you paid for
😂
@@ーススペードのエ Did you buy a course from him?
Savage 🤣
@Rasta Fonz thanks
So... Did you give that liar the sale?
@@carterchristensen3263 I did, only because it was a lot of work I had already put in negotiating with several other dealers, and his price was the lowest compared to the other dealers. In the end he did honor the negotiated price. If my mom didn't need the car sooner, I could have continued to negotiate with the other dealers. But it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth with that stunt he tried to pull.
Sounds like a weak closer tbh.
To be fair you shouldn’t drive the price as low as you can coz thats just as petty. When I buy preowned cars I evaluate the price very carefully And then I don’t shake on my first call ever.
I would have had him lower the price even lower just for lying to me
I'm just a random guy obviously not from US but this video helped me a lot in my current department. And today i got my certificate for being an employee of the month for hitting all my metrix. Thank you Dan!
up till now all the most of the videos gone through my early only...this one directly went to headup!
You are amazing at this! I needed to hear this. Thank you for taking your time to make these type of videos
Mr Dan Lok thank you for the advices! Looking forward to use them ! Enjoyed every min of it!
What would it take for you and I to do business today. That is a gold sentence.
Powerful line.
