Very logical and you are thorough. My heater is supposed to be a 5-8 kw, but when I set the HZ and RPM adjustments, I reached only 3.4 HZ before loosing the top red bar, so brought the bar back at 3.6 HZ where it sits comfortably. I am retaining some of the exhaust heat with a finned radiator and have a finned air radiator on the blower exit into the living room. The living room is 5 x 5 meters with a ceiling height of 2 meters. The temperature hovers around 20/22 degrees and the walls are solid brick with no insulation. I have never done a RUclips video before, but perhaps I will have a go in the new year. I enjoy watching your videos and you know what you are doing for sure. Happy Christmas and a great new year to you and all the diesel heater gang.
I like your videos buddy. They're interesting and informative. I liked the van conversions you did on a budget. I've got a suggestion. Try produce more. Like 2 or 3 a week if you can. Especially in the three months before Christmas. Advertisers pay the most at this time. So the more you produce, the more you will make. The diesel heater videos are enjoyable as well. You make decent quality content. Only a suggestion, to help you out. Wishing you every success 👍 New subscriber.

Loving your experiments - assume even though the output is less than expected it would still keep you toasty and warm in a van? Assume I should be looking for the “5kw” rather than the 2kw for my van? Great festive backdrop - hope you had a lovely Christmas, all the best, David 👍
And how much of that 3.85 Kw.hrs goes out the exhaust? About 40% I reckon, so we are getting about 2.3 Kw. of useful heat from the "5 Kw." heater. But still much cheaper than electric.
@@VANFLIPPINGTASTIC Try comparing the output from a 2Kw. electric fan heater with a 5Kw. diesel heater on full power. My cold hands tell me they are about the same.
Great job! Only question is what is #6 level in hz? Is it 5.4hz or less? I am running two heaters at 8hz no smoke but mush more heat. I don't have your type controller mine show fuel pulse hz. I haven't done tests but simple to say pumping 5.4 pulses of fuel vs 8 pulses per second over the same time would probably consume that 115ml. I would be interested seeing the results... such as 5.4 is a 3kw heater but running 8.0hz would make it ?? maybe 5kw?? if so what would it take to go to 8kw or could it ever reach it? next would be pump size.. is it 16ml , 22ml or 24ml?
my pump is 22ml and heater is at 5.2 hz maxed out .my controller is a new type and hard to adjust and mess around with . i am thinking of getting an Afterburner to make the setting you talk about
@@VANFLIPPINGTASTIC the blue controller is what I use to change the settings. I have 4 different controllers that came with the heaters and now they also have two different controller connectors types. So I just made a connector adapter so no matter which connector or controller they come with I just unplug the controller, plug in the blue controller (1688) passcode to get into the menu, change the settings, unplug the blue controller, re connect the controller that came with it and everything works. 3 wire connector is red (+) black (-) and blue (data). I have seen the afterburner but I think they piggy back off the controller and you have to have a certain controller that is compatible? So I wasn't sure it would work for me since I have so many different heaters...... Also some heaters are different in performance.... I have 5 heaters total... 1 2kw and the rest 5kw. On 3 of the 5kw 8hz burns clean no smoke but 1 of them will smoke (black) and the best it will run is 7hz. The funny thing is I bought 3 of the same units at once and 2 run at 8hz and the other is the one that will only do 7hz so that is why I say each heater can burn a little different.
