That really sucks though. The thing about the Rock genre is the raspy voice makes it all the better, unfortunately singing from your diaphragm makes most of the raspiness very faint, which takes away from the song. But, I would much rather have a singer keep their singing voice, than to see them lose it, especially so early in their careers.

*****, Yes it has! Thank goodness for that. Brett released an album with his side project band World Fire Brigade (check them out if you haven't already. They are like a heavier version of Fuel) in 2012, and he sounded spectacular in that. There are even parts of those songs on the album where he sounds like he did on the first two Fuel albums... and of course he sounded even better in Fuel's most recent album "Puppet Strings," that was released in 2014. Just FYI, Fuel is currently working on their sixth studio album. I cannot wait to hear new music from them!

Saw Fuel 2 weeks ago in Jacksonville, FL.
I could literally hear Brett in this video, playing at the concert. He still got it and always will.
Fuel- One of the greatest bands.

The whole band is great. What a lucky audience; to be that close to them. Back then, I was always so far away at concerts. I could watch this video daily and not get tired of it :)

    "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)"
Memories are just where you laid them
Dragging the waters til the depths give up their dead
What did you expect to find?
Was it something you left behind?
Don't you remember anything I said when I said,
    [Chorus:]
Don't fall away and leave me to myself
Don't fall away and leave love bleeding in my hands, in my hands again
And leave love bleeding in my hands, in my hands
    Love lies bleeding
Oh hold me now I feel contagious
Am I the only place that you've left to go?
She cries her life is like
Some movie in black and white
Dead actors faking lines, over and over and over again she cries
    [Chorus]
And I watched as you turned away
You don't remember, but I do
    You never even tried
Don't fall away and leave me to myself
Don't fall away and leave love bleeding in my hands, in my hands again
Leave love bleeding in my hands, in my hands again
Leave love bleeding in my hands, in my hands again, oh

Wow, he sounds identical live as he does recorded...thats very rare! There is so much autotune usage nowadays that when you go to a live concert, the person singing doesnt even sound familiar

How many awesome songs like this have come out over the last 20 years that we haven’t found yet because radio and mtv doesn’t love rock music anymore. iTunes and Spotify are trying, but it just isn’t the same as that rock station you’d listen to driving to school in the morning
