Man I love how Slash just lights a dude on fire by proximity to the solo and then just gives someone essentially a Rock Bottom.
This still has one of the most epic buildups of any rock song ever, followed by a seriously nasty 30 second solo from slash. I mean what he packs into that short solo is LEGENDARY after that epic buildup that’s why this song is still pure fire in 2023

R.I.P Scott Weiland. I've been listening to Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver the whole day. I remember I saw VR live back in 2005 (orlando, fl) and it was a great night. Not only because I got to see Slash perform for the 1st time ever but because Scott totally surprised me with his craziness and high-energy. He was undeniebly one of the best frontman I got see live. Since the 90s STP has been part of the soundtrack of my life. Thanks for the memories and GREAT MUSIC. Rock on in heaven.

I remember first hearing this on the radio, whilst I was driving on the motorway. The radio DJ said "wow that was great, let's play that again!". So I first heard it twice, like every time since.
I realized this morning that I have been listening to his voice almost everyday for the last 20 years of my life. He was great live too. Funny how someone I have never met in person can mean so much. All the changes life can throw at you, and the great bands that create life's background music for the ups and downs. His voice and music was always there, always great, and always timeless..... ROCK AND ROLL.
