I believe in Bretonnia if it is you playing as them Turin. Seriously, you have such an intutive grasp of each faction and the tactics needed to succeed with them. I love that you also play with all the factions and show how to be successful with them. Thanks for the content as always.

Bretonnia is by far my favorite faction but I always struggle playing as them. This really helps!
Rick Bruggeman DE are my favorite faction, BTW when I started mp I thought i'm going to play against bretonnia alot but it seems people don't pick them Alot.
They are in a pretty bad spot atm, not as bad as the greenskins though, no calvary just peasant spam

Rick Bruggeman the state of Bretonnia is infuriating, they are one of the most cut and dried factions in the game. Poor to middling infantry, great if not the best cavalry in the game. Yet somehow CA continues to let other factions creep over their cav, and then they make their most cost efficient unit a heavy infantry that's not even in the lore and doesn't fit their theme.
Just fine tune the knights till their cav works CA, it's not that hard!
Good game! But then you send fey enchantress to intercept cold one riders under racial buff - it was a really bad idea. This is a real wonder - why he didnt turn and charge her. They can rekt fey in 5 seconds flat. Literally. Also so rare to see Dreadlord. If it was Malekith - he can heal himself and fight in late stage. Pegasus knights - i really think they dont worth vs good DE player. To much AP bolts and witches for such expencive units. It will be really cool to see more tests of this build in the future.
When I tried Dreadlord on a Dragon he performed inceadible well. Just about slowly depleting those dreadlord missile attacks. Opponenst in this video should have used his ammo before landing though, with peasants and pegasus knights gone, no one could intercept him.

SAI BALA So do Volkmar and Aliathra. I admired Volkmar but really tho Aliathra thoroughly earned my devotion. It really was so sad to see Lileath lose her daughter Morgiana. That book was horrifying in its entirety with the sheer devastation it dealt (by Archaon the world's pretty much in ruins). You have so many beloved characters being irrevocably consumed to resurrect the Prime Evil. For all his follies Archaon or Malekith even doesnt inspire the dread and horror that Nagash does. Not even Mannfred. Nagash is an omnicidal sociopath unlike any other. The three deaths here reminded me of only one other equally tragic death/fate- Alcadizarr the Conqueror. He lost everything in his quest to destroy the destroyer of his people. The last king of Nehekhara- just like Cuahtemoc, last emperor of Tenochtitlan. Here's hoping GW revives him as Tarsus.
How'd the Fey even get caught? I hear it was Drycha, but could she not have warded off her attackers with magic or something?
Can you try a thematic crappy peasant holding infantry line with heavy cavalry as your main hitters like Grail Guardians/Knights?

Old Soul Psycho It really comes down to how good the Carnosaurs stack up against Wulfrik on a Mammoth. Because the Mammoths do struggle against hordes of cheap anti large
I think Mammoths will be crushed by Carnosaurs and dino artillery. Carnosaurs are top predators and already much a bunch of the old top melee large lords like Durthu.
I agree this is a super solid Bretonnia build. But it seems so weird that this faction could go to a fight without any cavalry (traditional, not flying). I've had trouble using regular cavalry in this game. Are they just not as useful as the exotic Fantasy units like fliers and monsters?

Serpentine 812 chameleon skins and dinos are a real problem I don't know how to deal with both of them :|
I havent played too many matches against lizardmen as woodelves, but it is certainly a hard matchup. I cant remember their name, but the spear versions of wardances are really good against dinos, and a mix of wardancers and rangers can certainly destroy a dinos front line. I dont know this for sure, but hawk riders seem to do pretty well at focusing down large units, since they are anti armour
Serpentine 812 The problem is that chameleon skinks rekt my archers/skirmishers and Dinos have got enough mass in order to cut through my asrai spears. By the way Saurus warriors outmatch eternal guards. I really stuck with this match-up.

think you let your pegasus knights tank way too much shade fire. You could have mitigated more by ahving all archers shoot at one unit and make them rout momentarily (and take out models faster)
No Grail Knights?
Bretonnia is not nessesiarily the weakest faction, its just one of the hardest to play. It takes a unique unit grouping and strategy for literally every enemy you face, you have to restructure your armies in campaign often to make good hard counters. You also have to become comfortable with losses, because no joke almost every battle will be a close victory or a Pyrrhic victory in late game. Even so, some strategies and unit combos as bretonnia can be VERY broken and lead to totally wiping out an enemy army in minutes.
I think most people run into problems as bretonnia when they try to play bretonnia like they play the empire. They are really a very unique faction.

Sorry to post on an old video but bretonnia are my favorite faction since I started getting into Warhammer. I went through the pain of painting the map with them, so I had to learn a lot about how to make them effective against other factions. only a few million men-at-arms died in the process. lol. Mortal empires was good to them with their air cav buffs.

Developer 2: They have some of the best cavalry in the game! Their the faction who's whole aesthetic is about knights in shining armor!
Developer 1: ohhh, that sounds good, hmmmm, almost to good... whats the drawback?
Developer 2: Their infantry, its poor to middling. Their a heavy cavalry faction so you will need to make good use of it if you want to win.
Developer1: Hmmmmmm... I Know! Lets give them a heavy infantry unit! And it will be one of the most cost effective in the game! Dont worry, it will be just like, a rare unit to pad out the roster a little more.
Foot Squires become the fucking defining unit of the faction and their calvary wastes away on the sidelines. You had one job CA!
What's the point in playing Bretonnia if you only bring two units of Cavalry? Surely it'd be more cost-efficient to do an infantry-heavy army with another faction?
The Shades were wasted in the pure archer role. Darkshards with shields would have been better. Abandoning the forest was a bad idea too.
Forcing an infantry fight was a good move on your part. The DE looses a lot when they can't run around.

I just kinda can't get my head around the fact that the best Bretonnian armies are peasant builds. Their elite cavalry is just so rare to see on the field. It''s just so contray to the lore theme.

If only they could give more of a reason to take some of the fancier cav units. Like, I never see Questing Knights these days; or Grail Companions.

My apologies, the live games are usually quite sporadic due to micro, etc.
It's usually not a problem ,it's not the first time i watch a live battle game,but this time the camera was extremely twitchy and fast,almost like if you were rushing through the video.
He was playing Bretonnia, not the dawi. What did you expected ! :D
