Total War Warhammer 2 Final Vortex Battle (Dark Elves)

This is the second Vortex Battle i finished it was slightly easier then the first but i think My army comp was slightly better

Interesting. it didn't go that way for me on Very Hard ; the Skavens didn't leave their initial positions and simply kept on bombarding me from afar (which took a toll on one of my black guard.)
In any case, congratulations on your campaign victory. However, despite the fact that you succeeded, i would like a couple clarifications regarding some of your decisions, as i found them to be puzzling :
1) Why, at the beginning of the battle, did you spread your forces on a big, flat and straight line when the Skavens were located on a cliff that had accesses only on the sides ?
2) Why, when the main High Elves army spawned, you moved your own *away* from the higher ground, which increased the range of your own Darkshards and restricted accessibility of the High Elves units, and moved instead on the open, where their cavalry could easily outflank you ?
3) Apart from your Legendary Lord, why didn't you include another spellcaster or a Hero ?

Good questions I guess the First Answer would be that It wasn't on very hard it was on easy And because of that i knew that the ai would most likely be to stupid to use any real Tactics E.g The Skaven Left the Hill to meet me on the slope so i lined my army up in a straight line For simplicity sake The second Answer would be that Even with the different factions The final Battle is more or less the same So to Make it slightly more enjoyable For myself I thought Might as well Move to meet them even if it means giving them a advantage And On the Another Hero or spell-caster im not sure i have an answer for that Magic as a whole i dont really use despite it being a major factor in most battles And Heroes The dark elves Heroes Didn't really do it for me With factions Like the Empire or High elves Or even the Lizard men They have very Combat Front line heavy heroes while dark elves Have more ranged glass canon heroes anyway Thanks for the comment and The kind words
