Because of how common plague monk spam is I usually get stupid amounts of success with regular swordsman boosted by lore of fire to get past the physical resistance. Leaves a ton of money for other awesome units to join in the slaughter.
Imagine if CA ever made Total War: Middle Earth. Turin would probably be in heaven. In fact, all of us would be as well.

High Constable At least we have The Third Age Mod for Medieval 2.
Not sure how the licensing situation looks with Middle-Earth stuff. CA got the Warhammer license cheap because of GW's shift in policy, but the Tolkien Estate tends to be a bit more conservative, and WB would probably fight tooth and nail (and lawyer) against anybody else getting a share.
Deus vult against some heretical prank. I really like how empire low/medium tier cav have some uses against skaven. Anyway great game turin and looking forward for more not so popular picks

Knights of the Blazing Sun arent Sigmarite, though? They worship Myrmidia. They're Myrmidian templars.
Shhh. They wear Gothic Plate Armor and wield flaming lances. Praise Sigmar, purge heretics, rinse and repeat.
Really appreciating these empire games cause the memes are fantastic.
Those Rat Ogres really didn't want to do that fight in in the forest. The trees give them a penalty, and even though the KoTBS get the same penalty it's not as big a deal for them with high armour and their fire damage.
Not to mention the blobbing of all his units instead of wrapping around you.

Thix for sharing, interesting game. But IMHO- strange build for skaven. Where Doomwheels for example? Also it will be really good to watch you build vs doomwheels+furnace\bell build. Im sure your build cant do much vs this, but it will be really good to see this actual matchup.

Doomwheels vs Empire is not always a good idea. Empire has too many tools to take on a Doomwheel.
And for example its..? Real threat for doomwheels here is only demi`s (and lord on gryphon ofc). handgunners in theory too, but right now they just a crap. And in general they to easy to shut down for skavens. Doomwheels rekt any empire cav exept demigryphs, and demi kinda weak vs over skaven units. Flying empire lords to risky for competitive play, most skaven rosters can destroy them too easy.
Skaven suck in the campaign for mediocre players like me, so much micro managing and when things go mad you have units all over the map routing, fleeing and whatnot. This was a typical Skaven scenario for me in the campaign and the AI is only half as clever as Turin.
