I found Mollie - she has a fab voice - by listening to Small Faces - Steve Marriott- love him he was so soulful. I was a bit in love with her Dad back in the day. OK I had a crush!! There said it!! lol

you meant 'cheeks' right? Record company bigwigs ripped off Small Faces AND Humble Pie, leaving Steve to have to steal vegetables just to feed his family after Humble Pie, so there were certainly no 'checks' for Mollie (i.e: cheques, as in the proper spelling, not the US spelling 'check'- which makes no sense as it is spelt the same way as the verb 'check'..... my pet peeve is the American bastardisation of English and not relevant to this video at all, so sorry about indulging myself here on a rant!)

I thought the same, but just clumsily worded I think. I can forgive 'Whispering Bob' for most things, as he is so knowledgeable and passionate about music and has been promoting genuine talent for decades. For example, I remember discovering the wonderful voice of Natalie Merchant on his late night show in the late1980s, and have followed her career ever since. Great to see that he is still promoting emerging singer-songwriters, such as the fabulous Mollie Marriott.

I think Steve has about 7 kids from 3 wives.
Got to figure one of them would be trying for a music career.

Steve had 4 kids. His son Toby has his band too. Tonya also in the music business.

Listen to "You Need Loving" by Small Faces to hear where Robert plant stole the vocal breakdown part in Whole Lotta Love from. He even directly swiped "WOMAN, youuu need..."
