when i press W it just selects the surface and im so frustrated because yesterday i watched the video and did it and it worked and now when i press W and click nothing happens
Denis, sorry to bother you but at 7:35 you selected just one side of the square, how did you do that? when I hover over it, the whole thing becomes blue, or selected. I can't get it to only select one individual side. Thank you,
Nice tutorial. Easy to follow too. Thank you. I'm a little bothered by the last step when the edges fell kind of down and the tension was gone. How would I go about losing that sacky look, get round edges but still have the tension that was there when you add pressure?
@@DenisKeman thank you very much. I will try it out. Is there a way to get seam taping around the inner edges that we use to make the folds? as they are not actually not pieces of welded geometry...
I know im asking randomly but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I love any help you can give me.
@Derrick Stefan thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thank you very much for the video .. what version of marvelous designer are you using ? i have marvelous designer 3 and i can't manage to find the option for the quad mesh
Maestro please tell after stimulation when we import MD file to 3d software like 3ds max we get messy geometry please tell how to fix that geometry and work with it? Thanks alot
Great tutorial as always. I heard about this program in conjunction with *3Ds Max*, as a guy in my class designed a duna in Marvelous Designer and imported it into 3Ds Max. Perhaps it's a better program for designing cloth, towels and such?
+Marcus I. Keil Using MD is the go to program when you need cloth simulations. So towels, sheets, blankets, clothing etc it's all where MD is great at. In the next video if i actually get the rights to use a certain model i will make a video about clothes with MD
+Marcus I. Keil Nope it's not free, you can get the trial for free for 30 days, but if you want to have the full licence then you have a renting option or a perpetual option. You can check it out over at www.marvelousdesigner.com/product/pricing
Very cool tutorial, thanks for sharing
I really really needed this.
+Visceral3D So great timing or what :)

+Sudesh Kumar Thank you for your kind words. Enjoy the video

+Marwah Bahnassi I am using MD5, as for the quad mesh option i do belive it was introduced in 4.3 or 4.5 version of MD.
thanks a lot :)

MD can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but its very good tool for wear fold simulation
Its a great tool to use for pretty much anything and everything that has to do with cloth simulation
Yeah, its requires decent pc as well to simulate it fast. I think its better to use some server for this tool
@@PashaDefragzor Not really, you don't need a server you just need to localize and freeze individual elements when doing a multi part model
Well I've been using it for a long time so its needs a good server

Thanks as always for the reply. Yea and MD is easy to pick up on. And easy to import into ur 3ds max scene. Is MD free though or ?
