- I remember hearing Marty say on a radio show (probably Bill Mack's) that Jimmy Dickens had one of the finest sad ballad catalogues in Country music. Marty sings this old Dicken's nugget immaculately; he wrings every drop of emotion from this wonderful Rosalie Allen/Bill Hayes song. Superb.
He's not Country!! HE IS UNIVERSAL!! WOW!!
What a magnificent voice so full of emotion thank God for giving Marty such a wonderful voice.
Such Beauty Voice love all his Songs..Videos.
MARTY ..The ( Greatest )

❤Marty Robbins❤
This awesome singer can just belt out anything! Love Marty Robbins!
I was lucky enough to meet Marty back in the 70s...I never forget how humble and humorous he was. Thanks for sharing this gem 💎
Martin is the ONLY singer i could listen to all day an never tire of hearing that beautiful voice. God surely blessed him in talent and personality...
Out of all the clips of the 'Best Of The Marty Robbins Show' I was lucky enough to post on youtube, this is one of my absolute favorites. Marty really was a special talent who just exuded class whenever he stepped up to a microphone.
love anything marty sings. thanks for sharing this beautiful song.
my dad used to sing this walking around the house.... I have never heard it until now... he passed away 1/11/2017 now tomorrow's just another day... to cry
No one wrings emotions out of a song like Marty.
Great singer love to hear his voice
Nothing flash, just pure talent, you either have it or you don't...he had it.
Zane Starr He had it!
Not a singer around now that could hold
his guitar. Thank you for posting*****S

My admiration for Mr Bill Johnson on the pedal steel is boundless. He had a sense of melodic variation which enhanced the melody line instead of drowning it like too many technicians on this instrument do today to boost their ego.
TIM.
Dear Tarquin45 I don't know what I would do without you. When I need my Marty Robbins fix I always turn to you. Thanks for always being there, you always make my day.
Great as usual. I only wish one two of the "country" singers today were half as good.
So easy for him.
love this song from the great marty thanks for this
I am so thankful that I got to see Marty in concert I also took my mom and my dad to see Marty and they both passed within a short time of Marty God bless my mom and dad and God bless you Marty for giving us all the memories that you gave us
Of all those who did this one Marty is by far the best second best is Little Jimmy Dickens.
Thanks for the info Angelina, I didn't know that. I saw Little Jimmy D in concert and he was one heck of a showman. I am so sorry I never got to see, and hear, Marty Robbins in concert.
