This for me highlights just what talented musicians Madness were. Many have heard this version but figured it was professional’ musicians that played it but actually it was the band themselves and I’m glad this video is out there to prove it.
There used to be more footage of this gig on RUclips but it was taken down. It showed; Primrose hill,Mrs Hutchinson and another song. Shame as the whole gig was recorded to be released as a video back in 1983 but for whatever reason it was shelved. It's all tied up in copyright & performing issues now.
What - in a good way or a bad way? Edit: just read your comment again - I think it's great and adds another dimension to the song. I've just finished putting together a DVD box-set collection of RUclips videos and didn't know this was here. AAAAAAAAAAGH!
