Steve never gets credit for his guitar playing. He writes, plays & sings which a lot of guitarist don't do. I've seen him twice and he can still flail on the guitar, he's top 10 in my book.
Everyone seems to say that ...I see the opposite actually. Always brings up his achievements and in one way or another talks about how it hasn't been recognized. I love his playing, he's incredible but listen closely. There are have been people pick up on it and talk about it videos too.

The obvious best parts of that video are shots of some kids singing along with the song. The parents clearly raised them properly.
