Would you recommend this game to someone who strictly is into Magic?
Magic seems very… rudimentary in this game versus something like Dragons Dogma.

I recommend going for dark souls III or elden ring !
Magic there is more evolved and act as a seperate class, instead of being a utility.

I came from playing Elden Ring which has tons of magic options. I’m really enjoying the challenges as the magic isn’t super robust or anything but it’s still fun to go through as a mage.

@@WD-M01 Idk, I haven’t seen any other game as of yet to top Elden’s magic/sorcery/spells/all synonyms used for energy attacks/protections/projectiles/etc.
Maybe the Dragon Age but that’s dated now at this point. Dragons Dogma as well, and even more dated. Not sure I’ve played a game that does Magic the way Dogma did. Very cinematic.
Skyrim magic is… it’s okay.

​@@DeathtotheAshes If you want the true magic experience get morrowind and go crazy. Now this game is old, clunky and hard af but trust me it's worth every single minute. Ds Remasterd I recommend aswell but don't go mage. You don't really know the location of all the stuff, npcs you need. I highly recommend going in blind and playing a strength/dex build on your first journey. Start with barbarian or soldier.

@@fbiguy5269 Eh, I’ll settle with Skyrim for now. I can’t go back that many generations in games like that. It’s too jarring and I’ll find myself disgusted. Even for owning a Switch. Which is already… unfulfilling.
