I was just reading In the Shadow of the Fall today on my phone from Net Galley! I thought it was good. I'm from Chicago, I say 'Aunt' same as you do! LOL
The Failures reminded me so much of a Warhammer plot that I alt-tabbed to look at the cover just to check it wasn't 🤣 (that's not meant as an insult to the book, someone more knowledgeable about the fantasy side of Warhammer would probably tell me they've got nothing in common lol)
Highly recommend "In the Shadow of the Fall". Tobi Ogundrian nailed this Debut Novella. I am excited to read "The West Passage" written and illustrated by the author himself, Jared Pechaček.
There are lots of super cool selections to add to the tbr! I had not heard of many of these!
These all sound great Holly- just when I thought my TBR couldn't get any longer...

Oh shoot where in Ohio? Would love to see a used bookstore reccomendations list. I'm in Toledo.
I say aunt both ways. I'm pretty sure as a kid I most pronounced it as "ant," though.
