I felt bad when i spend 80€ in the Episode 9 Y-Wing but this is way too much
This set disappoints in every aspect.
The build from the predecessor looked better, had better minifigures and was much cheaper.

LEGO is missing a huge opportunity by not making a legit “High Ground” set. I guarantee that it would make an obscene amount of money.

Episode 3 Commander Cody is infinitely better than another Airborne trooper. "Soulless One" ship looks worse than the 2012 one with the evil droid doctor
Burning Coal the mini figures may be crap, but let’s be fair here, the ship is miles better than the 2012 one. The dark orange mixed with the dark tan and gold looks so much better than previous versions, and it looks way more accurate. The 2012 one has way too many exposed studs and the colour is off
The airborne trooper has the perfect mold for a purge trooper helmet should LEGO make fallen order sets

They should also update Grievous, just like he got updated in the last season of TCW in my opinion.
His faceprint isn‘t precise enough and I want a version with the cape.

I liked the newer wheel bike, i am also glad to have it.

By having amalgamation of the 2, it provides a better army of clones for kids and small displays
If you want canonical figures, get the Black series figures, where everything is rendered realistically, TCW included. This is a toy, not a lore book

The new 2020 style is a mix between between realistic and animated. And its my favorite style.

I don’t care about the “inaccurate kenobi” which actually is accurate, what I care about is the builds and, of course, Grievous.

Hot take: I'd rather buy this set over the Knights of Ren ship.
Same the knights of ren ship is essentially a giant micro fighter
This set has a better build but the Knights of Ren has better mini-figures

I had the 2010 version. doubt I still have all the pieces. That was back when I wasn't overly careful with lego. Won't buy this till it's on sale but probably will at some point. The knights of Ren set looks awful.

This set should’ve included an accurate Obi-Wan, a tan General Grievous, and should’ve included Phase 2 Cody.
And it should’ve been $40, not $80.

Yeah sure buddy, the minifigures that are more or less just a bonus alongside Grievous and his ship and aren't important to it in any way totally ruin the set
Kenobi just needed to clean his roboes, airborne trooper was just at the wrong place at the wrong time
My toughts:
Starfighter: 10/10 is the perfection, but i would prefered missiles at sides
Grievous: no no no, grievous is tan
Obi wan: beautiful figure, but this is the wrong set
Trooper: cody was better, but this is really good
Just pretend that it’s the grievous from the 2003 clone wars

The thing with this set, is that I love the actual set, I think it looks do cool, but it is way too overpriced, and the minifigures are disappointing. If it was £20 cheaper, I would 100% buy it, even if they didn't change the figs. I mean, the Obi Wan is a little disappointing, but it doesn't bother me that much, had Ryan not pointed it out, I wouldn't have noticed, and I just wish we'd gotten a Phase 2 Cody!

That’s what makes his review good. He know we aren’t going to get it for free and has empathy for us. Plus he doesn’t fluff up the set even though he got it for free.

I love that Grievous and Airborne Trooper (I would love to see how they are deployed and that red blaster color is inaccurate) and we need him in more sets along with the regular 212 th Battalion Troopers along with Battle Droids and a Crab Droid as well the Octuparra Droid. Obi Wan is so wrong being here and a Commander Cody should be in an AT-TE.

This was an amazing interview I was on the fence as a new Lego builder but I definitely want this now not only was I able to see all the features of the build kenobi and grievous are my all time favorite duo thank you!

I honestly think people would be complaining a whole lot less about the price if it came with Cody, purely due to how long we’ve been waiting for him.
This could’ve been the best set of the wave if it was a battle of utapau. They could’ve added a boga build like the luggabeast in the Jakku marketplace. I think it could’ve also had a small archway like the one obi wan gods through before order 66. And also had 2 battle droids and a commander Cody as well. For $80 it would’ve been an incredible set

I love this set actually. I used to have the original version of this set and it was amazing. I had so much fun with it and just have fond memories of it so naturally I’m going to love this set too. But damn, 80 bucks is just to much.

I asked for this for Christmas. Wanted it really bad. Grew up with the original back in the day, and was ecstatic by this new build and Grievous. But as with most legos these days... the price turned me off. Didn’t get it for Christmas, and was about to blow a $100 Amazon gift card on this set.

I’ve been dying for them to make a rebooted general grievous’s ship
So when I learned that they screwed us over on the wrong coloring of general grievous and Obi-Wan Kenobi having the wrong torso

I had no plans on getting this set due to its price and already having the 07 version, but my fiance suprised me with it as an early Valentines day gift . I do wish Obi was more accurate but i have another more accurate version of episode 3's obi-wan. I wasnt expecting much from the build but man does it do more justice in person. Its such a great build, especially compared to the 07 version.

The Greivous minifigure really reminds me of the iteration of General Greivous from the 2003 cartoon.

The airborne trooper looks amazing! Best figure of the set! I wish it had duel moulded arms with printing but that’s ok! I also wish we got a standard 212th clone though

Hey MandRproductions, Something I noticed that can be useful for your comparison video is that this set and the old 2010 Grievous star fighter can both land accurately at that angle that it leans back like in the movie.
