- Elon Musk is planning to come to India. And he has definitely planned something big for India. This is a good news, but China is quite upset about this. Why is it so? In this video, Abhi and Niyu discuss the reasons of why is China scared of this development and how it is going to impact India.
We all know that the Future is 'ELECTRIC'. India has a long way to go for making majority of our cars electric driven. And this is a positive news for India, because Elon Musk's Tesla can help us move closer to our target of having about 30% of total cars as Electric. But India has to be watchful of not just China who is upset with this news but also of smaller countries like Bangladesh and Vietnam which are growing faster than India. 4. cant be used on long trip because boot is non existent and seat comfort is bad. h2 stations dont exist while there are more than 12000 chargers in india.
5. h2 stations cost $2million to install ie ₹17 crore, avg ev slow charger = ₹50k/500$, fast charger 50kW = ₹25L/$30,000. Just imagine how many charger can be installed for same price as h2 station
6. h2 cars are more costlier than evs. cheapest ev with 500km range : byd seal $30K, cheapest h2 car with 500km range : mirai $70k. this is because h2 cars are ev with extra steps, all parts of ev like battery motor and above that, fuel cell with platinum and kevlar carbon fibre tanks for h2
7. uses more electricity to produce h2 than used by ev for charging, 1kg h2 = 50kWh = 100km range. 50kWh in ev = 350km range, so if the electricity is not solar, then h2 cars pollute more than ev. if it is made from solar energy, its better to store it for use at night by converting back to electricity than using it as fuel
8. since h2 is either made from electricity or natural gas, its costlier than both of them, it sells for $36/kg and 1kg drives 100km, thats ₹30/km or 3x costlier than ice and 30x costlier than ev. if made from natural gas, again h2 will pollute more than ev.
9. fast refuelling is myth because if there is queue of cars, then hydrogen pump has to repressurise the tanks after every filling session for 15-20min, already fast charging on evs like ioniq5 and ev6 takes 18min for 500km range
10. h2 cars needs costly tank replacement after 10y because all h2 cars have expirty date on fuel cap for the tank, h2 causes tank to become weak and brittle.
11. h2 cars need pure o2 to operate for which they use ion filter, which is $300 a piece, indian air quality is world famous, we will choke h2 filter every month leading to costly service

They meant if government were to legalise msp for all 23 crops it would cost 10 lakh crores which is about the money which is spent on infrastructure. The Punjabi farmers are just greedy, 90% of farmers in Punjab are already benefiting off of msp whereas in other states like UP it's only 3.6%. Msp is useless anyways as it only benefits less than 7% of farmers in India. Clearly the demands are entirely political and not about agriculture or economic.

We have got the studies which say very clearly that if the government intervenes at that level when prices dip too much, it’s not going to be more than Rs 1.5 lakh to 2.0 lakh crore every year. The Karnataka Agricultural Prices Commission too says the same.

1) Yeah, It's true that shell companies which exists only on paper have bought the bonds, see the thing is that ultimately behind the scene every political party knows which company is it, and ultimately the true parent companies of them. And they have donated to these parties to get preference in the tender auction processes. And mind, it my friend these shell companies are made of black money, as they use them to hide their actual profits to save their tax liabilities. But the sad part is all the parties are involved and share great level of benefits.
2) & 3) Loss making on paper or in other words in the books of accounts which are shown to the tax dept, They have earned good profits and accumulated it into tax havens, via shell companies.
1. Tesla wil choose Gujarat if he want to set up manufacturing plant Due to policies which Gujarat government is bringing.
2. Low cost of the electricity, if you compare other 2 states which are Maharashtra and Tamil nadu.
3. Low wages compare to other 2 states.
4. Recently many business and FDI is shifted to Gujarat due to their policies and business friendly environment.
5. Even TATA's manufacturing plant is in sanand - Ahemdabad.
But we can't ignore the TATA's contribution in the sector of EV vehicles they are working aggressively in this sector compare to other companies, no doubt cost factor will be always there but it will come down if there is rise in the demand of EVs.

@@Boiiiiiiiisss yeah my exam was on 27 s1 only i scored 160 marks and expected around 98-99 Percentile and got 93 percentile and on the other hand my other classmates who scored 125 got 98 percentile just bcz they belonged to last shifts.

Having Tesla one of first mover in the ev space manufacturing in India will definitely improve quality of ev manufacturing in India like it did in China. Moreover it will be beneficial for Tesla too since it is facing tough competition from Chinese Ev companies like BYD,NIO etc

@@Nihaal25 agree with you that it's better than Indian cars in features. But we still have hyundai ioniq/kona, kia ev6, mg zs, etc which are more reliable than BYD cars. If we are willing to pay more we can even get luxury EVs. Anyways it seems they are failing Indian market.
