thank you so much for this, first time I have used the quilting feature of my luminaire and I must say it is saving me a lot of headache and time. I also appreciate your step by step procedure.
The design along with the continuous line program cannot be sized but if you bring it in separately after you save it it to memory you can make it bigger. I don’t believe you can change the spacing.
Love the foot tip! I never would have thought if that. I think if you had basted your quilt layers together, you wouldn't have so much fabric shifting during embroidery?
Hello ! Thanks a lot for this tutorial. Can we use edge to edge quilting + the eraser fonction to avoid particular parts of the quilt (blocks center for exemple) ?
@@audreylemaire2720 the edge to edge function is in the embroidery part of the machine and the eraser is in design center. You cannot bring embroidery patterns into design center. You could however scan your quilt and create your own edge to edge in design center . But that is another video.
You can use any hoop you like as long as it is listed as an option in the edge to edge program. 10 x10 is one of the sizes so the dime ones work just as well, just be careful. If the quilt is very heavy it will pull and the hoop will slide.
Would it not be useful to trace horizontal lines on the quilt, the height of the design, prior to embroidery, in order to ensure the design is always placed right? because a tiny tiny misadjustment can become a big one after a few rehooping… I do not know, I have never done it, but caution is rewarding…
I do NOT like Disney designs and that is the number one reason I purchase Babylock. I would never use the Disney designs and see it as a total waste of money to purchase and machine with them on it..
I bought a used Solaris and upgraded it to the 3. It’s a fantastic machine! I’m so happy I took the plunge.
Good for you. I agree, it is fantastic.

You are welcome. Glad you found it helpful.
Thank you for your tutorial. It helped a lot. The echo foot tip was especially wonderful. It saved me so much hassle. God bless
You are welcome. Glad it was helpful.
Thanks for the tip about changing the foot. I ran into the same problem you did & can't wait to try this idea.
Don’t forget to put the extension on it to make it high shank. It worked throughout the quilt so I was quite happy with it. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for going through the steps for edge to edge quilting! It was very clear instructions! Thanks for sharing your time to instruct!
You are welcome. I really appreciate the encouragement
LOVE the tip about changing foot! Thank you!!
You are welcome.
I would not use it for regular embroidery because it won’t pull the thread up after cutting but it works great for quilting in the hoop.
Can the design spacing be made bigger? This looks like it would be a dense pattern

@@enchantingrosemary8776 thanks so much for the quick reply!! I will play with sizing,, hopefully ;)
Great job
☺️

Yes that foot has saved me more than once. Yes it usually pays to take the time to at least safety pin your quilt layers, but it came out nice.
I love your tutorials thank you !
You are very welcome. Thank you for watching.
Would be nice if Brother would have offered this 10X10 with that Stellaire XE Upgrade😕Would you be doing a demo for edge to edge using the Stellaire?
Well the Stellaire can’t do a 10 x 10 so that wouldn’t work. I will do an edge to edge eventually after I have a quilt that needs quilting.
Thank you! It helped me so much.
I'm so glad!

You did great! I want that hoop. May i ask how much that one costs?
That hoop is from brother or Babylock and only fits on the Solaris or Luminaire. It cost in the neighborhood of 900 dollars.
Hi Rosemary does the edge to edge quilting only work with the designs on the machine or can you bring in a purchased design?
No unfortunately you cannot bring in more designs.
Can I buy the designs that are on the Solaris so I can stitch them out with my luminar?
Not that I know of. They are exclusive like the Disney designs on brother.
do you have to use the hoop your using or can you use the Dime 10 inch magnetic hoop
You can use any hoop you like as long as it is listed as an option in the edge to edge program. 10 x10 is one of the sizes so the dime ones work just as well, just be careful. If the quilt is very heavy it will pull and the hoop will slide.
Do you need to pin the quilt?
I don’t usually pin the quilt a lot. The hoop holds it pretty well.

@@Makapida you could do that to assist in rebooting straight but the program moves the design so it lines up pretty well.
