Great explanation. Thank you - I didn't realize I could stretch the design to fit!! So glad I watched.

I wish you would have shown how you kept rehooping also. Did you just pull the magnets on the rail or take the fabric out completely? Very hard to understand how that all works.

You would remove the magnets and re-hoop the next section to be embroidered leaving the last embroidered section ending area visible. You can view this on the video at the 16:35 mark thru the 17:49. You will see the right side of the pattern is position in the hoop on the left side.

Could you please tell me where you found that large font for the word winter, or is it built into the machine?
Or did you have to create it in software?
I really think you did a beautiful job with that word and I would love to be able to stitch out font that large on my babylock Solaris also, TY

I am pleased you liked it. The text I used was the large font built into the Solaris 2. When you select text scroll thr the text options to locate the large built in font. You will need to place these letters individually onto your design page. I hope this helps. Thank you!

Can these features be used with other edge to edge designs other than the ones that come with the machine

At this time the tool to set up the edge-to-edge designs for the entire quilt cannot be used with imported PES edge to edge designs. You have other options to line up your imported edge to edge designs in the Baby Lock Solaris with the upgrade 3 installed or the Baby Lock Vision. I would recommend using the Projection feature to line up your edge-to-edge designs. Thank you for watching.

Has this changed? Have they updated the software to allow you to import edge-to-edge designs?@@cindycorley

On the automated Edge to Edge feature introduced with the Solaris Vision, one is limited to the designs built into the machine. There is not a way to add additional designs for this feature.
If one is wanting to use other edge to edge designs it can be done by using the Camera To Connect Patterns feature on the Solaris Vision. One would need to size the design to coordinate with their quilt. More information about this technique can be found on page 140 of the Baby Lock Solaris Vision Embroidery Instruction and Reference Guide.
