I have watched this video several times, and understand what you are doing, but I have a Meridian. I have several quilts with large letters in black. You said we have to do a photograph.... where do I pull the photo in and get it to be the same size of my fabric design in the hoop. do I do my drawing on the photo or my quilt. i want to put in a fill and possibility of an edge. Am I watching the video?
Hi Marilyn. after you hoop your fabric, use the IQ positioning app on your mobile device to capture an image of your hooped project or quilt. The app will prompt you to send that image to IQ on your machine. Then at your machine you will outline the areas to add your decorative fill pattern to.
