Thank you for the video. And, thank you for mentioning the other machines. I have a Destiny II I bought used and appreciate the comments on what Solaris features are in the Destiny.
Hi Richard, does the Destinyll have the no sew feature like what you are doing in the Solara ll love to have the Solara too expensive so willing to get a back model ,thanks Alice
I bought a Luminaire awhile back and because of my sometimes memory issues and COVID restrictions I never really learned to use it. Your Solaris videos are helping me learn how to navigate in IQ Designer and gain confidence. Thank you and keep them coming. (I attended one of your Accuquilt sessions at Barnes Sewing in Ohio - love your upbeat personality.)
Just got a Solaris 2 and for the life of me I can't get the hooped fabric to scan. The embroidery unit will move about 2" to the left and back. It doesn't go all the way around the hoop to scan. I've watched your video over and over. Help! What am I missing? Many thanks!!
Hi Barbara, to scan in a hoop on the Solaris: 1. from the home screen, touch the IQ Designer Icon. 2. hoop your fabric/quilt and attach to machine 3. touch the "leaf" icon in the upper right corner of the screen 4. touch the "image scan" icon in the next screen. 5. follow the on screen instructions and it will then scan the hoop.
@@QuiltsByDael Hi - I’ve done that. It’s telling me to “Affix positioning sticker in red line”. I get that if I was wanting to embroider a design. I want to quilt in the hoop. Thanks!
This guy s a excellent teacher. !!!!
Thank you so very much for the deliberate & patient walk through the steps!!
This was so perfect. Just what I needed to get me going with my Solaris 2.
