Enchanting Rosemary
США
Добавлен 4 сен 2011
Brother has 3 top of the line machines that have a design center. The Luminaire, The Stellaire, and the Dream Machine and who knows what comes next. Most of my viewers know that I work in a sewing machine shop and during Covid it was impossible to teach how to use your machine. So I started this channel to show all of the features of the Design center and then I thought I would show basic learn to sew and some embroidery software. Who knows what we will see next. If you love to embroidery or are just beginning to sew on a new machine, keep watching. I also have a facebook page called Enchanting Rosemary Sewing and Embroidery.
Brother Babylock sideways motion
The Brother and Babylock top of the line machines as well as several of the sewing and embroidery machines have sideways motion that is programable so you can create decorative looks with your built in stitches. I will show you how it works and give you some ideas for what you can do with it.

Knock down stich from design center on a towel
Просмотров 4922 месяца назад
When you do embroidery on a towel you need topping but sometimes you need to knock down the pile, especially if the design is open or lacey. You can do this with software or you can do it with a crosshatch fill from design center. Today we will make a Halloween pillow on velour terry. The embroidery design used today is an OESD design, pk10071-01
Create a pumpkin applique

You can make an applique in the design center part by part by erasing and stacking designs. It is not what I call easy but it can be done with great results.

Babylock has a new Coverhem machine called the Applaud that is absolutely fabulous. I got a chance to play with the decorative stitches on it and could not believe how much I enjoyed experimenting and trying different threads on it and making a little baby jacket.

Design Center tools 101
Просмотров 5063 месяца назад
I have had a few viewers say that they would like a video that just goes over what the tools are in design center and what they do instead of using them to create a project. I thought I would get back to basics and explain some of the tools and what they are used for.

Dear rosemary Please can u teach me how to create files and save
@@asiahsheik2105 ruclips.net/video/vaiB3yC3q70/видео.htmlsi=vaLFG7fFC0n2YOLZ try this video
When I take a design from my memory to do this technique, my design fills up with a stipple design how do I get rid of the stipple as I don't want to have it I only the design from my design centre thank you Marie
@@marielouisepegrum1867 on the fill page in design center there is a stipple choice and next to it on the right is the decorative fill and when you touch it it will give you more options for fills and after you choose your fill you have to touch the part you want to change to that fill.
Thank you. You have been a big help
@@lynneh2370 you are so welcome
Thank u enjoy your vacation
Dear rosemary I tried this but I'm not getting double lines like u did What am I doing wrong
@@asiahsheik2105 not sure. I am on vacation right now and away from my software but I will look when I get home.
Thank you ❤
Good morning, I would know what is the pattern of the quilting on your wall? It’s a woman with bags. I love so much your videos. I’m new in this and I learn so much with you. Thank you very much.
It is an Amy Bradley design called quilt diva.
@ Thank you very much.
CONGRATULATIONS please can u teach basic digitizing on pe 11 software Their are videos but no one makes a sample of what they teach U do and I love to learn from your detailed style
When you say basic digitizing do you mean auto digitizing or using the design center?

Congratulations on your new machine! You are always a joy to watch. I learn something every time I watch your videos. Have a wonderful well deserved vacation Rosemary!
@@marcellasimeone1508 thank you I apprieciate the kind words.
Yay! On the new sewing machine!!😊
Thank you. I love it!
Very nice video. The latest sewing machines have a lot of nice features. I don’t like the stitch width on the most machines of 7 mm. My machines have a stitch width of 9 mm and that’s really fantastic. My needle plates are very easy to change with a handy button on the free arm.
@@carolineprijs-wijnen4487 the new stitch plates on the top of the line are nice. Very easy to change. I would say most of the larger machines have a 9 mm opening.
❤❤❤🙏😊
Even my Brother 1250D from 2011 has this feature. I should use this more often! Thanks!
Yes it is one of the great features many people don’t know they have.
Didnt know you could do that! I have the VQ2 and it has the little arrows so will give it a try! 😄 Hope you have a lovely holiday.
@@Jackie-zq2xs not sure what the VQ2 is but great, give it a try. You will love it!
Wow, thats beautiful. Thank you for the video. I have the same Luminaire and haven't learn the machine that far. Your video is perfect for me, as I have my 1st simple quilt (yayyy...) and thought about doing the quilt in my machine., and your tutorial doing it on Luminaire, sooo very helpful. Thanks again!! But, question what THREAD you used both upper and bobbin? Thanks and happy quilting!!
Thank you so much. I almost always use an embroidery thread from Floriani or Isacord. It was a while ago but I am pretty sure that is what it was.
Hi Rosemary, thank you for teaching me how to use,and enjoy my Stellaire. I’m learning sooo much. ❤
@@pauladeebach9389 you are so welcome 😁
fascinating!
Hello ! Thanks a lot for this tutorial. Can we use edge to edge quilting + the eraser fonction to avoid particular parts of the quilt (blocks center for exemple) ?
@@audreylemaire2720 the edge to edge function is in the embroidery part of the machine and the eraser is in design center. You cannot bring embroidery patterns into design center. You could however scan your quilt and create your own edge to edge in design center . But that is another video.
Love your videos in design center. Your doll turned out so cute.

Does this mean I can choose larger patterns and I’m not limited to my 4x4?
@@vdelacruzh yes you can put them in the software and split them but be careful where. They can be hard to line up.
You helped me figure out what I was doing wrong! I tried reading the manual but without adequate examples I was having difficulty finding a solution

What a great tecnique! I will try this!
Hi Rosemary Could you help me? I bought some files from the site you use in the video and I have problems with the colours. The files have completely different colours when I put them in the machine. It's difficult to make them. Has this ever happened to you? Can you tell me if I can do anything? I have a Stellaire XE1 Thank you very much Patrizia❤
I have seen on different sites where the colors are wrong if you download other formats but not in the . pes on the OESD site. Did you choose pes as your format? You can change the colors in the machine, you need to push edit and the button with the colors on it. OESD should have also sent you a pdf with the right colors. Now that I think of it I have seen greens change to grays and a few others because OESD uses Isacord thread colors.
@@enchantingrosemary8776 Thank you for your kindness. I got the files in pes but they are no good I will try to follow the pdf and do as you told me even if it is a big job considering the cost of the collections. Greetings and a kiss Patrizia😘
Thank you for doing this video! I am going to try to do this on my Stellaire. I just ordered that grip hoop that you used. Can’t wait to get it now!
