Couple of suggestions: 1) I recommend putting on the paper ruler strips that came with your hoop, it really helps with placement; 2) before you start stitching, I recommend using your stitch count view (button on the bottom of your screen that shows the needle and minus/plus symbols) - that way should anything go wrong during the stitchout, you know where you are and can reverse stitch by stitch to get back to where it failed. I also use it to preview where stitches will land when aligning rows or columns, you can skip around by 100 and 1000 stitch increments.
Hello! Such a great quilting chat! I just got my first chance to sit down and watch as I was out and about today. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead! Thank you for sharing this video and your talent.
New subbie here. Love this video. I'm extremely interested in CBT videos. Off topic. Love your watch band. Where did you get it? Thank you for your video. Quite educational.
May I ask you exactly what magnetic hoop you got? I have the same DreamMachine 2 and hoping to order one myself !!! Thank you so much, I have been learning this technique and love doing it. BUT, the hooping is very difficult ! Especially with a larger quilt ! Thank you so much !!
How do you make sure your design is lined up correctly and not wonky in the magnetic hoop? I have two of those magnetic hoops, but I can't figure out how to make sure the quilt sandwich is straight in those hoops. I have the ruler stickers on the hoops, but it's so difficult trying to make sure it's straight that I just don't use them! I love the little line on the regular hoops that help ya line stuff up. I have a Babylock Destiny 2 with a camera, but not sure how that works. I really need to read up on that in the manual, maybe that's what I'm missing. Thanks for this video!!!
Hi Carla- The camera is a total game changer. Since your machine has that capability, I highly recommend using that feature to line up your quilting designs. It’s a little tricky at first, but just play with it on some scrap quilt sandwiches first and then you’ll get the hang of it and love it!
Yay! So, I’m not the only one with miss piggy in the sewing room! I’ve loved her since I was a girl and held on to some of my favorite ones
Thank you for showing us embroidery. I have a Bernina. I registered for edge to edge with dime to learn.
I’ll definitely follow you.

Great job. It looks really good.
It looks good.
If I turn my thread cutter off, how are the stitches secured?
