OMG, you read my mind! I could not figure out how to reverse the start/end. I knew it had to be something simple, but was getting nowhere with the manual. It *IS* so simple. Perfect timing! Thank you.
EVERY time I watch you I learn something new! Reverse order stitch is something I didn't even know I could do, but will be so helpful! Have a great week, Becky!
You are such a wealth of knowledge. I wish I was 20 years younger so I would have time to do everything I’ve learned in the last year. There is so much to try. Thanks Becky
Hi Becky, Thanks so very much for all of your great information about Designs by JUJU. I'm just loving to be able to quilt all of my quilts at home. It is so much fun and I am self taught with watching some you tube tutorials Of course all of your techniques where very useful. I am also loving my magnetic hoop. I am having a ball...I complete three quilts in a month. Thanks for all of your encouragement....to just keep working at it. Bless you... you are the greatest!!!!
Becky, your instructions are just so clear and easy to understand. Thank you so much 🙏 If you were not a teacher in previous life you should have been. 🤓 Excellent video 👏🏻
Becky, do you need the software to do the embroidery? I have a Husqvarna Diamond and took a class on edge to edge quilting a year or so before Covid. I used another Design company that I'm not that crazy about her designs. I love the designs you are showing and can't wait to select some for Baby Quilts. That teacher had you tie off and bury all the threads after which is a lot of burying. Thank you for showing me a new way!
I’m so excited to have found your videos. I’ve learned so much and have barely gotten started watching. So excited to try quilting with my embroidery machine!
Thanks, got my reverse pattern, although however well I line up the join and on all the cross hatch / 0 marks the designs move up so don’t stay inline. Might give up with patterns that need joining lol
First of all your videos are awesome. I've watched several and learned so much. Last night after watching the above video, I purchased Stitch Artist 1. I have new buttons such as create, but the Stitch Edit Mode is not there! UGH!!! I'm so frustrated. I'm trying to quilt in the hoop for the first time and can't reverse the order of the end to end design starting point. Please help! Thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge.
I have used many different longarmers and none of them have started off my quilt. They all start on the side and go to the other side. If you are taking the time to make little tics with the frixion pen, why not just use it all the way across then iron it away? I've had good results that way. No need for all the extras of tape and embroidery thread. Thank you for showing us about the Reverse Order stitches. Embrilliance has so many features I'm learning about that I didn't know were there. Been doing it on my machine and that is only for the time it is loaded onto it. Once I take it off and load it again, it's back to original. Now I can save it! Thanks for your help.
Some fabrics will leave more of a ghost with the Frixion pens so this method is just another option. Where a longarmer begins a design completely depends on the design itself, but beginning off the quilt top by 1/4" at least is the norm in my experience. At least that's how I do it. You never want a start to a pantagraph beginning where the first stitch doesn't appear to be inside the binding. Thanks for sharing your experience with Embrilliance. Helps others to feel more comfortable with it when they hear success stories like yours.😊
I too have just done table runners with my designs. I will now try a larger quilt! Thanks for all the advice. Love your cutting mat, can I ask what brand it is? I’m in the market for a new one. Mine is OLD 🤣
I love my Clear Blue Tiles.. they are wonderful! I would like to see some in triangle designs. I have a star wall hanging I'm wanting to do only the outside of the star so I'd need triangles. 😉
Becky, I’m glad I found this again. I’ve reached the halfway point with a lap quilt and just realized I will have the issue of the second half facing the wrong way. I love using edge to edge and have even completed a kingsize quilt recently. Thank you for all the tips and ideas.
Thanks so much for the reverse point instructions! That is a game changer! I have learned more about Embrilliance from you than anyone else. You make things so clear and understandable!
Thank you!!!!! You are the first video I have learned from and was able to watch all the way through without dozing off! I'm getting ready to attempt my first edge to edge on my quilt with my pe800, and I love your recommendation for using juju edge to edge designs.. THANK YOU!!!
I dont have embrillance but I do have Designer Gallery. I do not have the feature you mentioned (stitch editor) though I do have the stitch simulator. I may have to write and get the designs sent to me then. Thank you for this excellent tutorial :)
Thank you so much! I have been thinking and trying to figure out how to keep the design straight on the quilt. Was thinking about the tape, didn't realize it would not stay on, but that makes sense! I knew marking was an option, and you have shown us exactly what to do. Thank you!
So I have the reverse order design from JuJU. I dont exactly understand what to do . I turn my quilet 180 degrees. Do I just lay down the reverse order design just like I would. I did before the design was reversed. By the way I love your instruction. Thanks.
Thank you so much for this informative video. You’ve given such a brilliantly clear explanation of how to do E2E on large quilts I really appreciate it. I’m now able to tackle the ones I want to do
Hi Becky. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. I am learning so much by watching your videos. Because of you, I'm able to do so much more than I ever imagined. I just completed a memory quilt using an end-to-end design for the very first time! I purchased the Embrilliance Stitch Artist level 1 program. Did I buy the wrong thing? In the version that I bought, I am not able to do the reverse point order stitch. I contacted DBJJ and they promptly sent me the stitch file that I needed. When I later searched the Embrilliance Platform help documentation and saw that this feature is described in the product called "Enthusiast". Did I buy the wrong thing or do I need to purchase both the Stitch Artist and the Enthusiast. I am considering deleting the program and getting my money back. I already own Designer's Gallery and I'm not sure I am knowledgeable enough to get my money's worth out of either Stitch Artist or Enthusiast. Thank you for your help in figuring out what I have and what I need to do. As always you are simply amazing and such a blessing!
When you were at the Houston Quilt Show in 2019 you video taped your visit. There was a vender who sold a package of 5 magnets which could be used to hold up a quilt. Have you used a rod with those magnets yet? I am thinking of purchasing them. Wanted to know if they work well. I know the “Command” hooks are needed plus a metal Rod
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for the segment on Reverse Stitch Order!!! I finished the first half of a throw and knew there was a way to flip and reverse the design for the other half, but couldn't figure it out. I have different software, but your explanation helped me figure it out in mine. Now I can finish the other half of the quilt without aligning and stitching the design in reverse (right to left).
Hi Becky! Thanks for another great tutorial. I’m wondering if you could give some tips and tricks about using the camera for placement on the upper end Brother and Baby Lock machines. How would you do things differently on the Luminaire or Solaris?
I’ve only been sewing for a few months, so apologies for asking such a basic question. You use a Frixiion pen to mark the quilt, then added painters tape, then stitched along the painters tape. Why not just draw a line with the Frixiion pen and use that as your guide, then just iron off the line one the quilt is embroidered. Have I missed something, as that seems so much easier than the painters tape and hand sewing along it. 😳
I was just wondering if you couldn't use a fabric marker and draw a line along the edge of the painters tape instead of using basting stitches. Wouldn't that be faster?
Yes it certainly is faster and you can do that. However, I learned by experience that they rub, fade, or iron off - or worse yet, don't come off. Basting stitches are the surest way to make certain a line stays where you want it.
Could you show us how you handle the quilt on your multi-needle please. Do you have a suspension system? How do you handle the part of the quilt that is already done when you move down a row since the machine is there and you cant just let it fall over the edge. Thanks.
Enjoyed the information in these videos however neither one describes how to align the columns above and below the initial row. There is no top or bottom alignment point in the JuJu pattern so does each row just sit by itself without joining the rest of the quilting?
You can align the columns however you like - they would just be offset if you would like. It's completely up to you if their are offset or not and how close they are together.
Hi Becky, when doing E2E quilting in the hoop, do you use regular bobbin thread, or the thinner embroidery bobbin thread that would match the top thread? 🪡
I really liked your video, but I have a Bernina 570B. I have quilt designs on a flash drive but I don’t have the embrillance app. I was so confused on how the tutorial applies to me and my machine. But, I would so like to quilt my quilt on my machine. I also only have a small hoop on my machine.
You only need Embrilliance Express to be able to print out the template if you don't have any other embroidery software that prints. You just print the size you need for your hoop and then hoop it repeatedly until your quilt is fully quilted.
I love your videos and I have a question. I have Stitch Artist level 1 in my Embrilliance program, but I don't have the stitch edit button. So do I need another level of stitch artist to get that feature? Or some other Embrilliance module?
DBJJ should reach out to Brother and Babylock to incorporate their E to E designs into their new Solaris Vision or the Upgrade 3. They only have 6 built in designs and they are the only ones you can use with the new system that makes it easy to do E to E. I want to use my JuJu designs with the new software!
Hi what tables did you end up with for your new room? I am looking for new tables but not sure what ones to get. I have a 1400E and two other smaller machines. thanks Laurie
Additional software helps, but no, it is not needed. You can take the design directly to your machine. Be sure to watch the original video. (It has a pink cover image). Have fun!
Hay Becky, love your videos. Got a question for ya, on Embrillance express can I buy the stitch thing program so I can do the reverse point order or do I have to buy the whole thing?
Express is the freebie version of Essentials. If you want to do a reverse point order yourself, you'll need the Enthusiast module. You don't have to have the paid version of Essentials to make Enthusiast work, but you will have limited abilities and won't be able to do all that Essentials does. However, you will be able to save your designs. You will have to have 2 separate programs on your computer because once you open Express and add in a serial number for Enthusiast, it won't be Express any longer. You'd have to download Express again and use it separately from Enthusiast. I hope that makes sense. Here's a link if you're ready to get it! Thanks for using my links! bit.ly/3kTKeId
I recently did a baby quilt with edge to edge quilting by another designer. I didn't want the e-t-e on the borders so it wasn't easy at all. None of the ends matched up, but I don't think anyone noticed. Need more practice on doing these!
I have to disagree that it doesn't matter if you don't flip the design with certain files. In all of my years of quilting, I have never done a quilt with half of it upside down. I would recommend that every design is flipped 180. I figured out flipping the design on my own when I first bought the files, it seemed the logical solution, but no way I would want a quilt that isn't consistently designed. Also easier to continue matching your start/stop point if they are all in the same direction. Not trying to be critical, I enjoy your videos.
I’m a little confused about the need for reverse stitch order. If the pattern is the same why does it matter which side it starts from? Still fairly new to this
These designs are made to resemble a pantograph that a longarmer would do. Unless you know how to remove stitches using a program like Embrilliance Enthusiast, you really can't skip over parts of applique or embroidery designs.
I’m not sure why you go to the trouble of the reverse point order. If you stitch top half/bottom half instead of left half/right half, all you need to do is turn the design 180 degrees. That’s how I did my 3 yard quilt.
You are so Helpfull. I was trying to remember how I quilted a 64x84 in the hoop and here you are again . Thankyou so much again
Thank u for the E2E tips/lessons! I never thought to mark where I stopped with an X how easy that makes it to line up!
Yes. My first time using my embroidery machine as a long arm.
I’ll be watching this over and over to get it down. Thanks for the help.

I flip the quilt around 180 degrees and stitch the bottom half. A Weightless Quilter from DIME works well here too.
Great information! Thanks Becky!

Thank you! I’ve done multiple large quilts. Fortunately you can’t tell where my quilting pattern has wavered.
This is terrific! Thank you for these tips!

Love, the clips this is a game changer
Hi what tables did you end up with for your new room? I am looking for new tables but not sure what ones to get. I have a 1400E and two other smaller machines. thanks Laurie
A huge thank you!
I'm wondering if instead of basting ones to make sure you are going straight, could you use a Frixon pen?
I think that depends on the size of your project. The downside is if you ever take an iron to it, your marks go away.
I am new to machine Embroidery I have purchased some end to end designs by juju. Do I need software for this to work?
Additional software helps, but no, it is not needed. You can take the design directly to your machine. Be sure to watch the original video. (It
has a pink cover image). Have fun!
You are the Best!
Why not mark rows the height of design, press crease at those intervals also? Just asking, I have not done this yet.
Hay Becky, love your videos. Got a question for ya, on Embrillance express can I buy the stitch thing program so I can do the reverse point order or do I have to buy the whole thing?

Do I need embroidery software to print out the design for a template? Thank you.
You can download Embrilliance Express for free and it will print out your template. There's a link under the video for Express.
@@PowerToolsWithThread so you don't need special software for these E to E designs
I’m a little confused about the need for reverse stitch order. If the pattern is the same why does it matter which side it starts from? Still fairly new to this
You'll need a reverse stitch order if you rotate a large quilt 180 degrees to fit in in the throat of the machine and you have a directional panto.
Hi There - wondering if there is a link for doing the REVERSE POINT ORDER in PE Design 11 Software...thank you!! :)
You'd have to RUclips it. I'm not sure.
Why dont you use a friction marker to mark your edges instead of the embroidery floss?
Some people don't like the Frixion markers because certain colors can ghost. It's certainly an option if you want to use one. Thanks!
i have so much to learn, lol
you are an awesome teacher. I have learned so much from you. thank you for sharing.
It would be wonderful if you could do a tutorial without a template. I have a Luminaire and would love to cut out that template.Thank you.
I really really want to be able to do this but they don't make a magnetic hoop for my ancient machine 😥
How do I quilt around and not through my embroidery design?
These designs are made to resemble a pantograph that a longarmer would do. Unless you know how to remove stitches using a program like Embrilliance Enthusiast, you really can't skip over parts of applique or embroidery designs.
I have no idea what my order number is. Does DBJJ keep an order history?
Yes she does! Log into your account and go to My Downloads on her sites top menu. You'll find them all there.
Where do I find the first part of this article
Here you go! ruclips.net/video/xFXj06X8ftk/видео.html
I’m not sure why you go to the trouble of the reverse point order. If you stitch top half/bottom half instead of left half/right half, all you need to do is turn the design 180 degrees. That’s how I did my 3 yard quilt.
THIS IS JUST ONE PART THAT STITCH ARTIST ONE DOES?😊😊😊😊
THEN 2 & 3 GET WAY MORE INVOLVED?😊😊😊😊
