I thoroughly enjoyed this radio play, brought back lovely memories of the movie with Myrna Loy and Melvyn Douglas. I'm enjoying this whole series, especially as I can listen as I work on other things.😊❤❤❤
I absolutley love these old time programs..part of me wishes for this time period in America, but the reality is while I tend to.idealize this glorious time in Hollywood, there were plenty of other parts of the world suffering...I truely believe we are now both greater and worse. These programs are as close to these famous stars we will ever get now...but I am very happy to be here listening.
All these wonderful shows, particularly the arrangements for these shows, tis wonderful, getting these authentic actors to play the parts, very entertaining, Thank You. I Buy three Packets of Lux, which I use for everything.
I like Radio - tv wasn't in NZ when I was young - did get to view the test broadcast , at some distance from the transmiter , so it was more 'white noise / snow' . Still went back to radio & with the tv broken , I've no intention of replacing it .

It's the thumb and 4 fingers; you start counting with the index finger. The third finger is the ring finger. I thought everyone knew this.
