Music was great, but for me, the male singer perfomance is not there this time. Idk if it's the accent or the somewhat mechanical interpretation. I'm a huge fan of the show (1st season is IMHO one of the best series of all time), and I've heard this music many, many times. Thanks Danish NSO as usual, as a great fan of OSTs I wish all the National Orchestras would modernize their repertoire as well.👍

Right there with you, the accent was one thing but I also felt he sang it just like any other ballad, and this is not a happy-go-lucky campfire song or a (normal) love song, this is a spooky song about two supernatural beings

I prefer the original Handsome Family version. The guy singing is interesting but nothing like as magical as Brett Sparks, and I much prefer Rennie Sparks' singing to the woman here. I prefer the Handsome Family's instrumentals too, I don't like the instrumental arrangements here. Don't forget, Rennie Sparks wrote the lyrics.

Great song but the male singer kind of butchered it in my opinion - expected more umf since it's a orchestral version
this just doesnt work.. dont get me wrong, orchestra is amazing, i have no complaints on that, but the opera singers voice are just too perfect, too smooth.. it doesnt fit into the smokey western mood of the song at all. they need to chain smoke and down millions of liters of whiskey, fry their voice a bit then id be on board
