I'm still amazed to this day how Peter Jackson and crew managed to do it. They litteraly made a perfect trilogy. Not just a perfect interpretation of a book series, but quite litteraly a perfect trilogy all together. The love and passion for Tolkien's work shows through the screen im every piece of dialoge, score and performance.

I think that a large part of that comes from the inspiration of the magnificent source material and the respect that is owed to it as a cultural tradition(?). I find it fascinating how people are drawn to literature from a writer whose religious philosophical view of life inspired so much about the books. So many great works of art in the past were divinely inspired and somehow touch us in a way that is life-affirming and fulfilling, whilst modern works of art seem to affirm a pointless and empty existence.

Peter Jackson is absolutely clueless when it comes to the intricacies of making music. In one of the 'making of' videos, when they are scoring the music, and he wanted something to sound different, they had someone there who could 'translate' what Peter wanted so that the conductor understood what he meant. It was very funny to see.

    Starless night will cover day
In the veiling of the sun
We will walk in bitter rain
    But in dreams
    I can hear your name
    And in dreams
    We will meet again
When the seas and mountains fall

The breaking of the fellowship was sad.. But it had to happen that way. Frodo and Sam had to take the ring away from the others or it would corrupt them slowly over time. The immortal elves, the brave men, the dwarves and their vast underground marvels... None of them could resist the ring. Of all the great races all capable of great deeds, the only ones who could resist were a couple of Hobbits.. Hairy footed halfings that live in hobbit holes.
And the others all had their parts to play elsewhere... Aragorn had to see boromirs sacrifice, it made him take his first step toward becoming king and embracing his heritage.
Merry playing with the palantir confused sauron and he thought he had the ring, causing him to attack before he was completely ready since he thought he had the ring in gondor.
Nome of these things would have happened if the entire fellowship survived and tried to get into mordor, it would have never worked.
      Such a great story.

The chills... Each of Lotr Songs are sweet memories to me. I watched trilogy so many times (cut and uncut versions of 9hours, or even more I dun remember the total hours of the true uncut version). I watched them with my fathers and also went to theater. Bless those moments, the best of my life. I begun with reading the books and I was not disappointed w/ the cast choices. Aragorn and Arwen being the most beautiful couple on screen imo. Both gorgeous and ethereal. Galadriel was also one of my fav character. So impressive and enchanting alltogether.
And then... Ring of Wokness... My heart broke when I saw what they have done to Galadriel. To sully to this point a marvellous character. To destroy such a legacy. I can't even begin to process all the shame they have brought upon Tolkien and PJ legacy. To use such excuse of "she is young my arse ! (1thousand yo at least), to make her potentially date or even copulate later w/ Sauron ? Yeah. I hate those woke leftists and their stupid rainbow degenerates politics. But I could rant for at least 12h non-stop about this heresy.
Amazon only gud trait is package delivery nothing else. Games and Series or films, they should not even approach it w/ their disgusting feminazi hands.

calm down haha. You don't need to watch it if you don't want to. I am left but don't like that series and I would not have done what was done with the new series. Its not the lefties that made the movies Its the film makers that chose to to what they do.
Neither am I rainbow. Left is not all about that actually :D its the extreme cases.

Music is VERY important in Tolkien mythology cause the world itself was created out of a song ("Ainulindale"). They say that the sound of water and even that found inside of shells has preserve and capture a bit of that song of the beginning of times.
