    This guy is one of the best teaching method of rotation. Really as an old timer understanding the logic is the best way to learn.

    Just saw this video yesterday, and it finally made this rotation click for me. I don't know why this made things make such perfect sense when it felt overwhelming and jumbled before, but it did. Thank you so much for the time and effort it took to not only learn this, but to break it down and make an easy-to-understand video about it!

    Amazing video.. the way you separate each combo rotation and slowly put them together it's just perfect .. keep it up !!

    Wow, I didn't realize the scrapper rotation was this much harder than any holo rotation.

    I must say that those rotation videos of yours are the most approachable and useful tools out there for picking up a new raid build.
    Hands down.
    Hope you'll keep at it! I'm looking forward to things like chrono and firebrand!
    I wish build hosting sites would reach out to you to embed your videos over what they feature right now.

      Hey. Thanks a lot for the kind words.
      I will try to return to making these longer rotation guides again in the future as I also quite enjoy making them when I have the time.
      Currently a lot of my free time is taken up by making the step-by-step videos for fractals and writing the Beginner sections on the discretize website.
      But once I get a few more done, I will see if I can do another rotation guide in between maybe.

    My favorite quickness applicator, definitely needs buffs to compete with harb/FB though.

      100% agreed, would love to see it. Sadly doesn't have the same DPS or utility a FB provides, especially on any CC fight where they can bring Sanctuary. But regradless I still love the build and at least on Power fights or when an easy tank is needed, we got our spots save xD

    Man this video helped me a lot getting this down, but sadly the new guide on snowcrows gives a very different rotation for this, have you figured that out (yet) and if so would you be willing to make another video on it? the updated sc guide left me kinda stumped sadly :(

    Hello, at 7:50 you say "you need to make sure you have swiftness enabled", and it shows 1h, 37m, 59s. I don't understand how to enable this. Is there an "enable" button, or is this from food?

    This is an awesome explanation of this rotation … thanks so much! How do you deal with an interruption … you must dodge at some point, you can’t just stand there.

    • @ascers5727
      @ascers5727  2 года назад +5

      Scrapper-specific:
      - Try to keep your combos in line if possible. If you have to deal with a mechanic that forces you to be away for a while, keep up with the general concept of using the combos together, at range you can always auto-attack on Mortar Kit to fill gaps. If you have to dodge during one of your combos, try to finish it afterwards.
      - Your Gyro combo is basically full melee, so only use it when on the boss of course when it is up. Your Toolbelt Combo can be used at range except Spare Capacitor so skip that one if your combo comes up while you have to be at range for a bit. Then you could just save it for when stuff comes back up.
      - If you have an extra Hammer auto before Hammer 2 comes up because of some delay, just go into Hammer 2 + Grenade 2 and start over, if you are already in the last attack while it's coming back, finish it first.
      -If the boss is about to phase, it can be worth it to de-sync your skills instead of saving them.
      - In general use any split phase like on Adina/Sabir to re-align your cooldowns that were messed up.
      General:
      DPS uptime is rly always the most important thing is raids for good DPS but rarely talked about I'd say compared to rotations. I always like to use VG Blues as an example. Most of the time you can side-step them instead of dodging and keep doing your rotation. They spawn every 10 seconds and dodging costs 0.75 seconds. ofc when you dodge in the rotation will influence what loss you have but 7.5% downtime being 7.5% DPS loss i think is fair to assume. If you dodge every single Blue on a 40k bench class, it is now as if you play a 37k class while side-stepping. Of course prioritize dodging if you have to, but try to find ways to have to interrupt as little as possible. When it inevitably does happen, refer to the above scrapper-specific points on how to deal with it. (Another prime example is Adina where some ppl just get a pillar and run out and afk for 10 seconds vs dodging out last second and back in losing 2-3 seconds only)
      Hope the answer isn't too long and that it was somewhat helpful. Ff not, i can try to re-phrase it or elaborate on certain points more.

    Awesome guide! Will you do Virtuoso guide in the future or it's too easy.

    • @ascers5727
      @ascers5727  2 года назад +1

      I was planning to do Power Virtuoso at some point, got most stuff written down, just need to spend an hour or so to get myself to the point where i can record it and do the rotation at the same time. On Condi I don't rly know if I will make one, of course it also has its intricacies like every build but you can get such good numbers just by randomly pressing buttons that I am not sure if it is really worth it to prioritize a guide for that one.

    Can you have perma quickness with this build if you want to save function gyro for emergencies?

    • @ascers5727
      @ascers5727  2 года назад +1

      The build (like most) is optimized around a theoretical 105% Quickness uptime to accomodate for mechanics interrupting your rotation.
      If you save Function Gyro, you should adapt your gear to get back to the 105% uptime. You'll lose 1of 6 quickness sources (counting medic twice) so you probably need to slot in a Conc Sigil and probably even 1-2 extra Diviner pieces to save it and still do perma quickness.

    So, you are acutally not touching the Heal Toolbelt skill? Isnt it also providing superspeed and thus quickness?

    • @ascers5727
      @ascers5727  2 года назад +2

      Written explanation: you only gain self-superspeed which means you also only gain self-quickness. If you drop alacrity for a longer time and can't upkeep 100% Quickness because of it, you can use the Heal Toolbelt to keep up some better uptime on yourself, but it will not help your party.
      I also go over this in the Traits section at around 6:45 if you wanna watch that part instead.
