The Memphis Grizzlies struggles from 3 point range can be explained in large part by one thing: a lack of talented wings on the roster.
@@ryan5752 two good shooters won't carry that team
Dillon Brooks certainly doesn't help 😆😆
@@Shaz-Daz 😂 fr he has the skill of Killian Hayes with confidence 😂
Bunch of good bench players but not a consistent shooters
Typical Grizzlies team that can't manage to have shooters on their team. The pain of their early to mid 2010s grit n grind era
Bro just called Jokic thic 🤣
Thats funny to you?
Get a dictionary and look at the definition of thick.
You will noticed that he is just that, thick.
wheres the lie
The Nuggets have been pretty mid on defense recently but, that’s fluctuated a lot through the season. In January and February they were pushing into being a top 5 defense. Their issue is just going to be consistent effort
@@rp3326 ok
@@CJ_Espinoza say what you want that kids just a dork and I can guarantee people dont like smoking with him
i think they just know they are making a push for the ring and they are just coasting to a playoff spot
I think it's the high altitude in Denver
BRUH - did Andy just call Jokic “THICC”
In this season this format doesn't cover the West accurately, Teams from 4th seed down to play-in teams are all within a game or 2 of each other. East is pretty set as who the contenders are, West anybody could make it out depending on health and matchups.
The only teams that are within a game or two of each other are the 4-6th seed but to your point I don’t think anybody thinks the pelicans without Zion timberwolves thunder or jazz are about to win the title I guess with the stimulus package the lakers got getting off Russ they could probably beat the grizz in the first round and go from there but yeah lol
Watching this from the future i think the only team missing was the warriors simply because they're the defending champions with virtually the same team (although they play a lot worse). Despite the high seed Kings are really just happy to be in the playoffs and will probably be lucky to make it to the 2nd round. Lakers have been good since the deadline but let's not kid ourselves a 7th seed is no contender. Whatever team makes the 8th seed should really just be happy that they made it
Teams made adjustments come Playoff time so it'll be very interesting what will these team do once the Playoffs commence.
That's where coaching shines, especially with very closely matches teams talent wise
Do a video about the newly agreed CBA. By the way, still waiting for the video about the pre-LeBron Cavs.
I've been watching the league since 2012 and seeing Kings' and Knicks' name on such topic is quite refreshing tbh
No idea what will happen with sacramento, but i hope they win a series
facing a healthy warriors squad even without wiggins they won't
@@myweirdsecondchannelwithap9070
Bro wake up to reality Golden State have been shaking in their boots since this season started. Y’all defending champs and 4 games over 500 Klay ain’t Klay, y’all play like the Rockets when y’all ain’t home and draymond more effective with a mic for his podcast than lacing up for y’all
@@isotime2857 idk man, it’s not like there “guaranteed” to go against the kings. And trust me, if the suns or clippers face them when fully healthy, it’s gonna be rough. Mainly because the clippers and suns roster aren’t too old but are ACTUALLY experienced to the playoffs unlike the kings.
aguante la academia papá
honestly im very casual but that'd be fun to see them win a series just so that they get a bit of respect or something. their year had been looking pretty good but most sports channels only talk about the same teams, its annoying.
How do you not mention that Paul George probably isn’t playing in the first round 😂
If he does he wouldn’t be 100% that injury looked bad
Cavs, depth is literally a bigger problem than experience, the moment allen or mobley are out, Lamar starts
The Kings' biggest problem is playoff inexperience. Hope they make the most out of this postseason.
I hope they beat golden state
I think they can reach atleast 2nd round
Experience is overrated. It’s the same game, talent will always prevail.
Kings should get out of the first round... Unless Lakers or Warriors are their opponent.
The Hawks 20-21 had went to Conf. Finals in their first playoffs run, since Trae Young played for them
Love your videos a lot man, like anytime you post I’m HYPED🎉
Your actually the only YT I got notis for 😂
*Boston lives and dies by Jayson Tatum’s inconsistency
Thank you for bringing up the Celts reliance on the three. I’m getting PTSD from the Obie-ball days.
This is going be a fire video!!!🔥🔥🔥
Fine?
The Cavs sure as hell surprised everyone
I am a fan of your content, one suggestion i have is. Maybe you can try the video format as Nonstop sports or Jimmy. Maybe that can help a lot in your channel's reach
THE KNICKS ARE NOT CONTENDERS
ARE U KIDDING ME ? With JALEN BRUNSON on this team ? SMH , yah okay HATER.
This man a casual
@@brucelau2023 they’re not lmao
Knicks are dark horses in this years playoffs. They might not reach finals but they sure as hell could upset any team they face.
@@Wallyworld30 If you don't think they make the finals how are they a contender?
I'm scared if Phoenix suns don't win. KD will request another trade and that'll force an NBA Lockout to hinder player empowerment.
The Suns are banking on 2 washed up players, one of which will almost 100% retire by the end of next season. They threw away their entire future for a 1.5 year window of hope.
I’m not scared of him requesting a trade. I’m scared of his age and health. If suns don’t win this year, I don’t see how next year gets better. They’ll be older and we have no assets
@@guesswhonot1620 KD not washed 😂
@@guesswhonot1620 bad take is bad
@@guesswhonot1620 this is the type of stuff people say when they watch espn sports gossip shows instead of the actual sports
The Warriors at full strength.... no one else has a chance.
Harden never took over games during the playoffs. That has always been the recurring theme.
Also, the issue is with Suns is bench depth. Other than Cam Payne, I don't see the bench able to hold up during the playoffs.
When Nets tried playing their Big 3 44+ minutes in the playoffs they all got hurt except KD.
James Harden, no. Only a couple of games. Doubt that’ll happen.
The fact that there is a team that takes more than 43 three-point attempts per game is the reason why today's NBA is so unwatchable.
They made 55% of those 3's vs Bucks last week and that led them to a 40 win. If they are firing on all cylinders they can't be beat but they will 100% eventually start missing 3's like they did vs Warrior. Only question is will they lose to the Sixers, Bucks or in finals again.
It's very frustrating when teams just chuck and brick 3s multiple times on repeat, almost as bad as Harden foul baiting in how tedious and dull it is to watch.
Sounds like someone's forcing themselves to watch games...
Kings are top 10 in defense if you look at just the 4th quarter, showing they’re capable, just haven’t shown they can do it the whole game. Will be interesting to see if higher intensity of playoffs will push them to use their 4th quarter defense for entire games
Depends who they face? Teams adjust in the playoffs and they barely have any peesonell outside of Davion Mitchell and fox is good but sabonis is a horrible defender and barnes is a shell of himself but I have trust on mike brown
I hope you make a video about the resurgence of the LA Lakers despite having a 2-10 start.
The Lakers get enough attention as is. We don’t need to hear about how they’re the dark horse contender again
@@CJ_Espinoza yeah until they get the 5 or 6 seed
@@gotworc until then...
@@gotworc I’ll believe it when I see it. I don’t see them breaking out of the play-in with the time left.
@@CJ_Espinoza If the Lakers go on a win streak they can. Key word being if, they haven't managed to do so the whole season. They play down to their competition and Ham does a lot of stupid shit.
Andy make a video on Chris Paul’s regression! Huge CP fan but I don’t think people know how much he’s regressed.
Happens to everyone not named Lebron. I think it's impressive he was elite for as long as he was given he's a very small player and has had a ton of injuries throughout his career. Really shows how much of a "team first" guy he is.
He's 37. He was overdue for this.
Everyone is back at talking about Jokic defense now that they saw that layup metric circling around past couple of weeks. He shows clear lack of interest. And why would he be interested? They are first in the west without him tryharding, and nobody plays defense in regular season anyway. Id count that towards him IF they werent on top of the table.
Jokic always had foul problems in his early career for even trying. Those defensive statistics compare him to other centers, completely disregarding the fact that big majority of centers who are starters start BECAUSE OF THEIR DEFENSE.
My point is: i think there are much more potential alarming issues regarding Murray, MPJ and KCP then there is with Jokic. For Jokic we are 100% sure that he makes the team better when he is on the floor.
KCP can be very frustrating, he always plays defense but on offense he has very low bbiq and is streaky as hell.
The 1999 and 2012 NBA playoffs are memorable
09 was pretty good too
@@youngmelo1841 Same with 2022
2013 and 2014 were back to back great playoffs
Ironic how both were shortened seasons
Love this content
Boston does seem to be very stubborn with their offense. When it's working it annihilates anything in its path. When it isn't, they often don't adapt. I'm afraid if they don't win the ring this year JB might be going somewhere else...
Tatum is a great player he’s one of the best playing right now and this will be his league soon but I gotta say he’s a frustrating guy to watch when the game is up for grabs cause he goes full xport/la fitness basketball and is doing 1 on 1 with anyone taking step back 3s and it’s hard for the team to get any mo,emtum going if their just standing around waiting for a rebound and aren’t threats to score, obviously he’s better then jaylen brown but when that step back isn’t falling in the 4th I wish jaylen can get 4 5 straight possessions to run to the offense
i think the Grizzlies has 1 more problem- their maturity, guys like Dilon Brooks cost the team with immature attitude, and also with Morant if he do something stupid again, it will hurt the team a lot because they lost both Clarke and Adams, if they lost 1 more starter, i don't think they could make through the 1st round
Despite boston and milwaukee being the favorites in the east, the cavaliers have a great chance going to the finals. Stats don't lie. Great defense wins playoff games. Couple that with superb offense, they are a deadly team.
i know that you went with first 5 seeds but imo lakers are very scary atm and can make rly deep run
Nuggets problem is defense but more importantly then bench production
I have been watching the bucks for The Last 5 years yes injuries is a problem for the bucks
just like every other team
but the real problem for the bucks is they really don't have a dominant one-on-one scorer that can consistently make jump shots
they offense can get stagnant at times if they lose that would be the reason
AndyHoops for real Man U Gould definitely do a video about the newly agreed CBA .
Paper Tiger😂😂😂
Nobody's afraid of Denver, they're a heliocentric team that can't play basketball without Jokic. He sits they hemorrhage whatever lead they have, so unless Jokic becomes Wilt and plays every minute they aren't winning a title.
Denver Nuggets have soo many problems for a team that 90% of the seaso sitting 1st in thier conference, just goes to show much Jokic drags that team
Overrated.
Jokic is the system, he sits the team doesn't know what to do. Another disappointing playoff exit and I imagine Malone gets fired.
Them purple bucks jerseys 🔥
Excessive iso ball is the Celtic's most dire problem. The excessive 3s are just a symptom of bail-out 3s on horrible iso possessions
I'm not too concerned about Julius Randle's ankle injury this week, despite getting closer to the playoffs. The Knicks are probably going to be in the 5th seed and given how they handled the Cavs yesterday, they'll probably do better in the first round than they did against the Hawks and Trae Young. Besides, Jalen Brunson is basically our five-star quarterback when healthy.
5:18 Ayo pawse
The real issue is the NBA, they created a more offense-focused game that teams are simply trying to outscore each other and whoever has more stamina left in the 4th wins the game, there's been no real defensive stops because of the rules favoring the offense.
5:18
*AYO*
really excited for the Cavs
I am curious about the Nuggets.
I can't really see them winning a champion without a good defense.
But we will see what they will do at the playoffs.
'Without a good defense'
So they just miraculously got the #1 without being a good defensive team? 🤦
6:23 bro said jokic has help 💀💀
Philly:
- Will Doc blow ANOTHER 3-1 lead?
- Can Embiid stay healthy?
- Will Harden finally make the finals (on his own)?
- Can Philly make the conference finals? Either they're cursed or just not good enough. You can be the judge 🤷♂️
Teams need to adjust right now!! Can’t wait to have teams expose those weaknesses for you!!
What a weird generic comment
@@calebangell77 yeah. Weird af

This is such a weird comment
Boston not take so much in THREES if not falling.
It's weird watching the Griz be bad at 3s now, they started the season on fire from 3, Ja and Bane couldn't miss, they won games they should've lost just because they kept lobbing up 3s even when everything else was going bad.
The suns depth chemistry besides that they have a strong chance to win
Our knicks are dark horse contenders but u right bout Randle. Bruh be giving me josh smith flashbacks
I am sure Sacramento are not taking the Warriors lightly, especially after that last game's shooting display and the regular season record between the two franchises.
Embiid is still the issue health wise. Barrett looks bad as well.
Do you consider Barrett a bust
@@PROBENICCOMPS No, cause he's still pretty early in his career. I know you weren't asking me but that's just my opinion.
This man just call Jokic thick?? 👀
Is that good or bad?
Most alarming issue with the Memphis Grizzlies: trying to act hard
For the Celtics, we have 2 of the best 3 point shooters in the league (as you said for the warriors).
Who? I hope you don’t mean Tatum
@@bobserling4812 Al horford and malcolm brogdon are like top 3 in 3pt%

al horford and brogdon are mid from three, shooting 43% on open looks don't mean shit
Nobody is a shooter if they hit, low volume open 3.
They are just good shooter's for their position.
Can we do a Monta Ellis videos please?
I personally think New York's problem is how RJ Barett is going to do, not Randle. If RJ can step it up then they have a way better chance of going far.
Randle also needs to perform well in the post season and prove if he’s the guy. But I agree RJ could be their X factor how good knicks would be in the playoffs but I would say josh hart is their guy who would be a X factor
@@tj5180 Yeah I really hope Randle proves himself, also yeah The Knicks are banking on RJ and Josh to be successful
The thing is everyone hated on harden when he carried his team in Houston they would call him a ball hog and in phili he’s been happy to become a distributor behind embiid
I don’t think people realize how harden was carrying some bad Houston teams to the playoffs even in his 1st season he turned them to a playoff team. The season before they won 34 games. They had Howard but outside of that when you look at the guys in the roster leaving out Patrick Beavrly their either out of the league or are role players.
@@tj5180 He could 'carry' them but couldn't get to the finals or get the job done...
Funny.
You can hear the smile on your face when you start talking about the Knicks 😅
I got Denver vs Phoenix and Boston vs Milwaukee in the conference finals!!! Denver vs Milwaukee!!
You’re weird
Unless Phoenix wins all the rest of the games and sacramento looses them all, Phoenix wont get the 3rd seed meaning that they will meet Denver earlier than conference finals.
I think denver vs phoenix will happen in 2nd round
Denver vs Milwaukee would be amazing. I want Giannis to get his second ring.
Hell no denver
Jaylen Brown your next video Andy Hoops 🙏🙏🙏
Ok I see the kings defense take a lot. First, I think the port defensive rating is more indicative of early on in the season when they had less chemistry. Second, who says the kings are gonna slow the game down? We’ve never seen an offense this dominant, they don’t have to play at the other teams pace. And you can’t pack the paint against a team with 3-4 guys shooting 40% from three
grizzlies could solve so many problems by trading for og or mikal
I agree the nuggets are built for the playoffs. They need a defensive big and wings to surround joker
How long do you think it takes chemistry to build? Plus dude is injury prone
Lakers since the deadline: 14-7 #1 defense (all loses without LeBron or D Lo) 5-0 with their starting 5. They are a contender, everything points to it besides the sample size of games with Westbroook.
If LeBron and AD are healthy they can easily make the finals. West is the weakest it's been since the 80s.
I'm sorry? This west with the warriors big 3, KD and book suns, Jokic nuggets, lebron and AD lakers and memphis is not weak at all.
@@myweirdsecondchannelwithap9070 win % tells you all you need to know. Nuggets are the weakest #1 seed in 20 years and from 4th down every one is within a couple games of each other. Pales in comparison to when 45 win teams missed the playoffs.
@@CrazyxEnigma Nah I’d argue the west is as good as ever, there’s legit 2-3 all star talents on every team. Problem is the West’s health. Clippers, Lakers, Suns, Warriors are all very legit just been hurt all year. I definitely wouldn’t compare the 1980s teams to those 💀 then have teams with multiple all stars like the kings that are completely written off as there’s so many good teams in the west
@@BayAreaHoops415 You're absolutely right health has been the biggest issue. I wasn't saying teams aren't talented, should've made that clearer, just only the Lakers were actual contenders for that decade, all the other teams that were actual contenders were in the Eastern conference. Thus the comparison.
Assuming teams are healthy I dunno who gets out of the west this year. We'll see how the playoffs shake out but I'm thinking the "real finals" will be the ECF like the WCF was in the early 00s or that one year Warriors and Rockets went to 7 games.
This is gonna be an interesting playoffs this year
The Celtics problem is get tunnel vision with threes but another problem when jaylon brown or Tatum is off
who else can they go through to pick up the slack if Tatum or brown are struggling that's what happened to them against against the warriors brown has it going but Tatum didn't
And Tatum has to be the best player for them to win
The 76ers have the most to prove this year, despite what Embiid says. Even Doc Rivers wants to prove that he is a premier coach in the league. Harden and Embiid are both searching for their first ring to solidify their legacy and prove the haters wrong.
Jokic is what in the post 🤨
I think wiggins is the bigger problem for the warriors. And PG for the clippers
Denver and memphis are vulnerable in the playoffs
Sixers embid has to stay healthy and James harden got to shake off that playoff choker label off his name
Tobias Harris gotta show
that he has a presence on the court and I be forgetting he even is on the court when I watch the sixers
I agree with some and disagree with the others. Here's my own take about "The Most Alarming Issue With Every NBA Contender"
Bucks = Halfcourt Offense, they have no shotmaker besides Middleton.
Celtics = Health of Rob Williams, Tatum, and Smart.
Sixers = Depth.
Cavaliers = Shooting from their wings
Knicks = Halfcourt Offense
Nuggets = Defense
Grizzlies = Firepower
Kings = Defense
Suns = Time for establishing their rotations and identity
Warriors = Hunger
How he coming at Randle when sooo many players play with emotion.. ie Pat Bev, R Wallace, D Green, Lance on Pacers when they were good.. V Maxwell for Rockets.. stop it.. if u dont play with emotions why play
Niang for Philly has birthing hips.
It's all about matchups. If the Clippers beat the Suns in the first round then Denver probably represents the West in the finals
Good point but Clippers not stopping the Suns.
the fact that the clippers havent had enough time together and has ultimately had the same roster since the kawhi signing is insane
Damn. You make it seem like Lou Will and Harrell are still there 😂
I disagree with the problem with defense for Denver our problems are with the bench and when Jokic is off the court
I dont feel like Suns' problem is Kevin Durant's chemistry, he's a 7 foot shootint that can pass. The Suns' problem is their bench.
Nice.
Whichever team to come out from the East will win it all this year.
I just can’t even fathom how people think the nuggets are gonna win the title, every single year time and time again they lose and it’s always the same issue, Jokics defense. Doesn’t help the fact he doesn’t even try on defense sometimes and that right there is a recipe for the reason as to why the nuggets suck in the playoffs.
MPJ and Murray are here this time, chill.
Until they make WCF (IF it happens) no one can tell me they actually picture them winning it all
Grizzlies who's going to be the second star to ride shotgun with ja is their problem who's going to raise their game to another level because that's all they need to take them over top
Disagree with the Clippers take. I think the most alarming issue is Ty Lue playing Mook more minutes than either Batum or RoCo. Mook has regressed pretty badly this season.
I respect the format but I would've liked to hear something on Lakers, Warriors and Heat, considering that in a playoff scenario they're likely to be more dangerous than many teams above them
The Heat Suck. What are you watching
@@DanielPM- lol IKR. Heat are NOT better than Knicks, Cavs, Sixers, Celtics or Bucks.
Heat suck they're getting swept in the first round if they make the playoffs. Lakers and Warriors are actually dangerous.
@@Wallyworld30 I'd take the Heat over the Knicks or the Cavs come playoff time

My team sixers will be a lob city 2.0 sixers is never learn. This year is a all in. I wish They tried to pursue dame lillard. Gave up everything before the worst came.
Harden doesnt dare to take away from embiid's points
Andy buckets!!!
The Warriors have way more problems than just turnovers. Undersized, inconsistent shooting and road games.
I'm irrationally mad at the way andy pronounces ja morant lol.
Anyone who also confused about andyhoops and johnnyannet? Seems like they both speak the same way and slightly the same voice
There's no reason to include the clippers and not the Lakers at this moment, in fact, the Lakers have a better record post trade deadline and the clippers have a liability plus PG is in doubt for the playoffs... LeBron and AD already won a chip playing with good role players (like the ones they added at the deadline) but for Some reason the clippers always get the benefit of the doubt even after historical meltdowns (bubble in example)
If Miami gets their shit together they’ll be dangerous too
I would actually throw RJ Barrett into the Knicks issue. Derrick Rose is my favorite player by a mile but hes second to me. I thought he had a killer instinct last year but dude is so inconsistent that its crazy. I think hes that wildcard that if he can perform to his averages...his freaking averages lol...they have a chance at becoming one of the top teams in the East. Julius Randle yes hes been a hot head and man its kinda annoying. Us Knicks fans prefer grit and grind to the end than underperforming or throwing a tantrum. If you leave it all on the court then we have your back. Cant wait for this seasons playoffs regardless of the outcome, it seems there are a lot more teams that are hungrier. Look at the Pelicans!
