    What is crazy to me is, that literally everyone who knows a bit of basketball knew, that getting Westbrook on this team would not be a good idea. Then they suck for nearly all season, finally trade him for a bunch of solid role players and somehow start winning games, what a miracle. Turns out Lebron and AD are good enough players to build around, who would have thought!
    Should I just apply to be a GM or what is the thought process in the front offices here...?

    • @CrazyxEnigma
      @CrazyxEnigma Год назад +20

      I can only assume LeBron and AD pushed for it, Pelinka had the Hield trade lined up and somebody else whether Jeanie or the Rambi pushed him to do it after LeBron and AD persuaded them it was the right move. We're lucky that trade didn't completely fuck us over cus it's easily the worst trade the Lakers ever made in franchise history.

As far as I'm familiar, LeBron and AD aren't super close friend with him, he wasn't all that impressive with the Washington Wizards and he was never a good "fit" with Bron and AD. Add to that Russ didn't want to be on the bench for so long, I don't see how anyone agreed with him that coming to LA would be a smart idea for all parties involved.

Basically if this team is healthy this team is likely Finals bound, honestly the biggest obstacle to this outside health is Darvin Ham. He's the worst coach out of all playoff bound teams by a wide margin looking like Doc Rivers 2.0 playing pocketpool most of the time.
