      3 guys come to mind...
      1. Kyle Lowry: He just looks so done to me. If Miami can't get him in shape, no one can
      2. Nik Vucevic: Falls into that Drummond and Harrell category. His defense is atrocious and is getting unplayable in the playoffs
      3. Draymond Green: Once he loses more athleticism or gets another injury, he won't have defensive abilities, then what is he?

    The thing about Harell is LouWill actually made him better. The attention Lou gets with the 2nd unit benefited him much. After that, he's basically nothing. And correction, Rivers actually played him in the playoffs and Jokic destroyed him. Yes, Kawhi and PG underperformed in game 7 but Jokic ate Harrell alive to tie the series 3-3. The Clippers let him go because of his jealousy on Kawhi and PG during the 1 year they are together.

    What I don't think most people tend to realize, whether it be a player or a spectator, is that when it comes to a knee injury or an ankle injury basketball will not be a benefit to the healing of it in any way only make it worse and one's own performance cannot reach what it once was.
    There is an old saying when I was growing up " you only have so many jumps left " now they said that concerning don't focus on dunking but jump shots because the game of basketball is rough on your knees and ankles. And this is a big problem with AAU basketball and just a professional mindset being applied to every aspect of the sport starting soo young. The constant running and jumping on the hardwood or pavement is not a good thing especially when you are giving very little time to rest and recuperate.

    As a Bulls fan, "warms the bench for the Chicago Bulls" is pretty misleading. A lot of us enjoy having Drummond and he's given us some good minutes.

    Say what you will, but Drummond is probably a plus bench big in this league. Rebounding wins games, and you can absolutely stomach his offensive game when you need 5 quick boards in 10 minutes, which he does.

    Montrezl Harell is basically how Kenneth Faried would pan out if he played longer (for those people asking why he’s gone and could still be a contributing piece) basically a one way man all they could do is rebound and dunk on the offensive end al though Kenneth was a descent screen outlet

    • @andersonlebrun8370
      @andersonlebrun8370 Год назад

      If you watch him Harrell is not good anymore yeah he can score a little but he can’t jump as high and has lost a step. More athletic teams take advantage of him as well which is why he is benched. Doc made him the backup Center for half the season before benching him for the same issues like Andy mentioned and whenever he would come on for embiid teams would go on 7-0runs

    Lol Andrè Drummond was never good. Most of his rebounds came off his own missed lay ups. You miss a layup at the rim and put it back you get a rebound and still shoot 50% 🤷🏻‍♂️ dude has hands of stone

    Was 2yrs/$19m actually low for motrezl harrell, even coming off 6moty? That seemed more symbolic, and even still, if ur an already good team looking for an elite 6th man, can u afford to pay more than that? I feel like it was take bench money for a contender or take good money for a shit team. And is $9.5m/yr bad for a backup???

    You know what I don’t understand about guys like Drummond? How in the world do you go through so many practices, so many years of playing basketball at varying levels of comp and never become atleast serviceable at scoring points outside of being right by the basket. Especially free throws how in the world can a pro player be such a bad free throw shooter? You have an opportunity to really make something of yourself in the nba but for him and a lot of other guys it just seems like they aren’t interested in trying to improve the skills they lack. They just stagnate and keep doing what they were already good at
