Thus was a great video. Love all the different cactus. I would love to go there and look at all the cactus. We have one in front of our house now. It was nice you had friends with you. Hope you enjoyed yourselves. Especially boondocking. Looking forward to see next video. See you both soon! Stay safe.
Yes, be mindful . Lush desert is beautiful. I have been there, and lived in Arizona over forty years, and you read and know more about that park and those Cactus than I.....did. Thanks
We LOVED Organ Pipe...but when we were there in 2019, that road by the border was shut for wall construction...lots of blasting noise and big trucks. Glad you enjoyed it...
Okay so another channel I watch released a video today of the same place. Crazy. But two really different perspectives of the same place. I loved that. If you get a chance watch it at One advanture at a time. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for taking me along on your adventure. Until I am able to do it myself, I truly appreciate being able to learn about these places I will someday travel to.
Outside chairs are so important. We have a couple directors chairs for the morning coffee. Then we just bought some anti gravity chairs for the afternoon beer and a nap! Living the dream! 😁
I know im randomly asking but does anyone know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Ben Fabian Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
thanks for the video. I am going to Organ Pipe monument in Feb. I have reservations at Twin Peaks campground. I won't be hiking much due to my physical limitations and I travel with a dog.
Loved Organ Pipe! We stayed in the campground for 5$ per night with our Seniors NP pass. This is a great option for those a bit nervous about the border. We would stay 2 or 3 days again. There are so many different types of cactus, it is truly beautiful!
Next time you two are in that area, take a drive south an hour over the border to Puerto Pensacola, Sonora Mexico. Wonderful beach front campgrounds with full hookups on the beautiful Sea of Cortez. When we lived in AZ this was our favorite vacation destination. You won’t regret it. Safe and fun! Cheers! Keep up the good work. Sure miss AZ...
I’m unable to find the link to the club chairs. Can you please reply with a link. I love them, they’re exactly what we’re looking for! Thanks for all your great content!
Looks like a great place to getaway and boondock. I have always loved the desert. Don't think the Air Force flies the F-16 (Falcon) anymore. It's a single engine single tail design. If it wasn't stealth it most likely was the F-18.The Boeing F/A-18E and F/A-18F Super Hornet are twin-engine with dual tail wings looks more like the F-15 Tomcat from Top Gun. The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is a single-seat, twin-engine, all-weather stealth tactical fighter aircraft with the "V" shaped tail wing. My guess is that is what you saw. Stealing this right out of the LM playbook "The Raptor defines air dominance. The 5th Generation unique combination of stealth, speed, agility, and situational awareness, combined with lethal long-range air-to-air and air-to-ground weaponry, makes it the best air dominance fighter in the world." Based on where you were at Luke and Gila Bend Air Force bases were using the desert to do their practice flights.
F-16 is still active inventory, over 1300 at this time. If fact AF is considering ordering again some 16 years after the last delivery because of problems with the F-35. It's a solid aircraft and can be easily updated; production for foreign orders continues today.
@@wsettles3 William, here we are educating the Getaway Couples subscribers. I am not insinuating I am right and you are wrong by this response but that you may be right about it being an F16 because of their location close to Gila Bend. My response wasn't that the F16 was no longer in use but "While many F-16s have been shifted to Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve units, the F-16 is still part of the Air Force's active force, with about 950 aircraft still in service" but that the AF was phasing it out. On this i may be wrong "the Department of Defense has decided to extend the life of yet another old warhorse to fill the gap. At least 300 F-16 Fighting Falcons will receive structural and avionics upgrades that will allow them to fly until at least 2048". So I stand corrected.....See what you can learn from the @Getaway Couple....LOL
Looked like Jason had a trouble with tribbles moment on his boot 😂 I always wanted to ask you, with all your desert Boondocking, have you ever seen a UFO?
