I think the best compromise for Voyage is to go on a Saturday with a late close. You can still get a few (trimmed) night rides and not have to wait in an hour line.
I loved holiday World, but I was there on a PACKED Saturday and waited over 2 hours for Legend lol. I’m glad this place was getting business though, this park absolutely deserves it
As a regular visitor, if you want to go and ride roller coasters MULTIPLE times a day, you gotta go when the park is open all week mid way through the season. There were times where we'd hop back on each coaster just after getting off.
@@Shaders. I went in July, so it was open all week, it was just the last park of a 5 park coaster trip so it kinda just happened to be on a Saturday. If I visit again I’ll be sure to go on a weekday though
The end of this video reminds me that: I need to give Ryan a friendly reminder that we are all waiting for the part 2 of that video on Jersey Devil that Ryan promised us 2 years ago
Kentucky Kingdom / Holiday World double-park days are a real blast, both really great small parks with awesome lineups. I wish I had the stamina to pull off the insane road trips y'all do but I usually need to build in a little rest time for mine.
Used to go to Kentucky Kingdom as a kid, around when it was owned by Six Flags and I went maybe twice after the buyout. I’m amazed Thunder Run has held up as long as it has.
I marathoned Storm Chaser something like 6 times once because I ran to it right when the park opened. You have to ride defensive on that last stretch of ejector pops, my rib cage was getting pretty banged up so I had to tap out.
This happened to me on Lightning Rod. I marathoned something like twelve times because it was a walk-on and I knew I would never get that lucky again. My legs had welts on them.
Thirteen parks in 10 days is insane! I'm starting a similar road trip next week, and doing everything completely backwards. Ten parks in thirteen days, starting going from west to east and back west. Holiday World, Kentucky Kingdom, Kings Island, Cedar Point, Kennywood, Hersheypark, Dorney Park, Great Adventure, Kings Dominion, and Dollywood. Journey starts in Texas.
Y'all are insane for handling so many parks in that timespan, lol. Glad y'all had a good day at Holiday World. I agree so much on Holiwood Nights. GREAT event! But almost too popular now, lol.
Thanks for telling us how The Voyage; the longest wooden coaster with one lift hill, compares to Shivering Timbers: the longest wooden coaster with only a 107' drop. Loved the video.
My one and only trip to Kentucky Kingdom: Storm Chaser, down for the day. Thunder Run, down for the day. And the Drop Tower, down for the day. The place was dead, but practically every single guest was in line for Lightning Run. Kentucky flyer was great though!
Your channel is one of the only enthusiast channels that actually seems to enjoy riding coasters - good criticism when it makes sense but generally positive all the rest just complain and complain and it's so tiring
Kentucky Kingdom (Six Flags at the time) and Holiday World were my first Coastercon. All I remember about Kentucky Kingdom was 60 inversions in 60 minutes during ERT. Glad I was a teen back then, I couldn't do it now.
My graduation trip this past July was similar to your length. It was 10 days long too. It lasted from July 10-July 20, and I spent the 10th through the 12th at Kings Island, the 13th through the 16th at Cedar Point, and the 17th through the 19th at Six Flags Great America. Headed home on the 20th
I was at both of those parks back in June. Had never been to KK so I spent the entire day there, after spending the entire day at HW the day before. Two fantastic small parks! And even though I am 6'2, and 48 years old, I found I was actually able to get 10 rides on Storm Chaser (my first ever RMC) with no letting discomfort, whereas the day before my body could only handle four rides on Voyage.
When I rode Thunder Run for the first time in the early 00s, I immediately thought of Hurler. Thunder Run has grown on me over time tho. Two summers ago, Legend was almost unbearably rough but still a top 5 wooden coaster for me with those delicious laterals 🤤
Not gonna lie..... I was kinda disappointed at 1:45 we didn't get an Uncle Nate version of the 'rope-drop parcour kid' clip, dodging the GP to get to the kiddie credit!
Holiday World is my favorite park in the US. The lineup of woodies is incredible. I have all 3 in my top 10. Nothing like it. I did Kings Island the day after my first Holiday World trip, and KI was a huge letdown. Should have done those parks in reverse.
Only Six Flags park that HAD great A/C (defunct AW) 2,000 tons with its own chill water plant. SF Texas *600 tons*. You picked 2 great parks that take care of their "woodies" LOL! I'm glad Kentucky is no longer part of....You know. Guy, roller coaster, ROAD TriP...Priceless!!!!!
@ElToroRyan I love your videos and I agree with ya on a lot of stuff but I can't help but feel you over hyped Kentucky Kingdom. I can't deny Storm Chaser is an amazing ride and it's definitely in my top ten coasters but the rest of the park is a total dump.
Imagine being too serious to enjoy the following video
Webz for President 2024. Raging, your comment made me smile, and I really needed this on a day that was pretty cloudy suhD.
Couldn’t be me
imagine
Sounds like a skill issue to me
I'm that nigga

I'm thatnigga
Yeah I was there in October and that hole is still there in the front row of voyage queue.
4:15: "MY LEG!"
A very nice touch.

I went 2 weeks ago and the legend and raven were about am hour wait but voyage and thunderbird were less than 10 minutes.
The end of this video reminds me that: I need to give Ryan a friendly reminder that we are all waiting for the part 2 of that video on Jersey Devil that Ryan promised us 2 years ago
YES A COASTER IDIOTS EPISODE IS OUT!!! always anxiously waiting for them to be uploaded! love every episode!

Thunder Run was actually surprising on my trip! Definitely a pretty good old woodie!
I can’t believe they named a ride after Ryan!!! (The legend)
🤣🤣
Lmao I see you reusing Hollywood nights back area footage
Haha caught me!
I marathoned Storm Chaser something like 6 times once because I ran to it right when the park opened. You have to ride defensive on that last stretch of ejector pops, my rib cage was getting pretty banged up so I had to tap out.

I did 10 in a row and loved every second of it. Was at Keys to the Kingdom and was enjoying the ERT
Ayyy thanks for the shout out mang! That was such a fun day getting in our "night rides" on Voyage!
Respect the Zippin Pippin shirt! Uncle Nate knows what’s up 🔥

Loving the channel! Loving you and Uncle Nate and always enjoy seeing McLovin🤗

MY LEEEG!!!!!!
Your Videos with Uncle Nate are the best

We went to Holiday World last weekend and my 8 year old daughter rode her first coaster The Raven, which was my first coaster too.
honestly these guys are the best guys when it comes to rollercoasters.
Thanks for telling us how The Voyage; the longest wooden coaster with one lift hill, compares to Shivering Timbers: the longest wooden coaster with only a 107' drop. Loved the video.
Is that Jared fogle in the thumbnail? MCLOVINNNN

The shuzang! Awesome! And so appropriate! :)
Im glad to know I’m not the only one that likes Raven more than legend the retrack really made that ride great one of my favorite ccis now

That sounds like the best trip ever. You’re very lucky.
This was an awesome series of vlogs! Quite the admirable trip- you've got me tempted to try and do it myself as well!

I rode Storm Chaser 38 times in 2 days, it's my second favorite RMC
I love the easter egg at 4:16
I am certainly getting that block zone shirt.
im surprised they still havent built a bride over the road yet. you guys should join me for an entire texas park trip next year .
4:16 had me laughing for 10 minutes straight. Like I’m really weak!
Perfect timing. Just rewatched your entire japan trip vlog last night.
I'm digging that Zippin Pippin t-shirt!
Speaking of roughness the first wooden coaster I rode was hurler at Carowinds so just about every wooden coaster is smooth to me :)
I wish you would also do vlogs of the ride there, y'all are really funny so including more of the interim between parks would be really awesome
definitely enjoyed your vlogs throughout this trip! all of your vlogs slap in general. also finally got the funds to cop that block zone tee 👌🏻😎
Legend is best in the front row, Raven in the back.
This vid is great, hit these two parks on the same day on my trip, it's great
I was down on Raven last year but this year it was incredible for Holiwood Nights! That hill after the turnaround was insane!
Legend is getting track work done this off season.
Another Great Video of both parks. Thanks Again
“My leg” 🤣🤣🤣

Glad you enjoyed it, I wanted to see the ride on the coaster and I mostly got you all babbling about your selves.
Uncle Nate, respect!
That's 2 for flinching at 8:49!
Damn 3 months late. Gotta love the sauna Batman queue haha
I love credits
Over Labor Day Weekend, the second half of Voyage on that Saturday felt like it was running trimless since it was raining.
Best channel on yt, no debate
Pilgrims plunge really did make a DTHOOOO! sound LUL
(number)UncleNateIsABoomerBecauseHeRefusesToDoIt
That was fun to watch!
I dropped my video so fast when this notification popped up.
He's backkkk
Let's get bro to 100k bi Christmas 🎄!!!
could you do a video about maxx force great america? much appreciated
My best was 17 parks over 17 consecutive days. To me, the days started blurring together, and it felt like it flew by.
What happened to the footers exactly on Thunderbird?
I like how you can see a coaster kids poster at 5:10
i need some of that pilgrims plunge lol
They didn’t do T Cubed?😰
Bucket list for me mang
I went June 8 and got on voyage 24 times and raven and legend twice (thunderbird wasn’t open)
if you get tired enough maybe you start seeing things on your coaster rides for an enhanced experience
Can’t wait to go to Holiday World this Sunday. All aboard the Voyage hype train
Try out Krystal. They’re the White Castle of the South. Plus, they’ve got the nickname ‘Gutbombs’.
Hey @ElToroRyan, what day were y'all at KK? Like the date? I live like 15mins from KK.
Awww yeah suh bruhs!
“Mangettes” 😂
McLovin!! Owwww😛
To this day... I can still hear logan screaming "1 train ops". I need to go see a doctor.
That hole was definitely made by Taylor from Coaster Studios for the camera he has that is bigger than him.
They actually fix the hole all the time and ppl just rerip it open lol
That White Castle is probably 7 mins from my house 😂
Kentucky Kingdom was like this for me. But Holiday World was MOBBED. So jealous.
I was here in June aswell!!! What day did you visit?
y’all remember when there was a poem at the start of voyage that would play during every dispatch ??
Not gonna lie..... I was kinda disappointed at 1:45 we didn't get an Uncle Nate version of the 'rope-drop parcour kid' clip, dodging the GP to get to the kiddie credit!
On the KK website they specify for a lot of the coasters that riders must have full natural limbs to ride, and now I understand why lol!
I’ll be in Kentucky and will have time to hit one of these parks- which would you recommend? Or should I drive out to Kings Island?
Holiday World is my favorite park in the US. The lineup of woodies is incredible. I have all 3 in my top 10. Nothing like it. I did Kings Island the day after my first Holiday World trip, and KI was a huge letdown. Should have done those parks in reverse.
7:18 dad when you come home too late
nice diamond park mclovin
1:36 Peak McLovin moment
I can confirm, the hole in the station is now patched up.
Please let me know when you’re coming to Kings Island next so I can join!
@4:15 😂

I'm going to try 3 days in a row in a few weeks (3/4 parks). Can't imagine 10 days!
This some baller ass shit.
Close your eyes to get night rides on Voyage GENIUS! I DONT NEED HWN!
Ya durn hooligans!
Saw you down at Kingda ka around 9:30 last night in your white sweatshirt 👀 creep

@ElToroRyan I love your videos and I agree with ya on a lot of stuff but I can't help but feel you over hyped Kentucky Kingdom. I can't deny Storm Chaser is an amazing ride and it's definitely in my top ten coasters but the rest of the park is a total dump.
