I rode Beast in a wheel seat last week with a wet track. It was honestly the most insane, out of control ride I've ever had on a coaster and I didn't even care how much it beat me up at that point, it was just too much fun.
EDIT: Also, it made me happy to see all of the goofy statues at the end of Adventure Express actually working. Probably haven't seen that since the 90s.
I've had rain rides on Beast also! It's soooooooo good!
The beast is easily the best part of the park

Yeah the best ride I’ve ever had on the beast it was at night and started pouring right as it started. The rain hurt and you couldn’t see anything and it was shaking and going crazy but it was so wild and fun

I’ve always loved Orion. I feel like Ki didn’t need a fury 325 to make it a standout coaster and it’s my favorite in the park
Honestly, Orion is probably a better overall investment than Fury 325, even if Fury 325 is an overall better coaster by enthusiast standards. The issue with super-intense gigacoasters like Fury 325 and Intimidator 305 (ESPECIALLY Intimidator 305) is that if a ride is too intense, the GP won't ride it. And the GP are the primary source of income for these parks.

I know I'm late but Kings Island is my homepark, I live like 5 minutes away and can hear the fireworks from my house. I've been here at least a 100 times and it brings me joy seeing you guys have fun here.

Mystic Timbers is insanely good! Rode it for the first time last month, totally unexpected the thrill and power that supplies.

I can concur that mystic timbers is pretty good at winter fest if you get on it late enough, if you go on it early its slow but later its fast and good but your hands are cold for the rest of the day

My daughter and I were dreading Invertigo, turned out to be great! This was last year (2020). Definitely enjoyed it, no pain issues.

I went to KI at the beginning of June, on a weekday. Got rained on a bit at the beginning, middle, and end of the day, but got 3 rides on Orion, Mystic Timbers, and Banshee, and 2 rides on everything else.
i bet orion was crazy good with wet tracks
@@acefrost1535 My dad and I got the first train after they reopened the ride (there was thunder so they had to shut down), and it was incredible.
@@zechariahellis nice, orion was my first ever roller coaster, and for someone afraid of heights and used to be terrified of roller coasters, it was the craziest thing ever. now i’ve been really into coasters since we went to ki a few weeks ago(when i first rode anything) and i always hear so much trash talk about orion, i have a special connection to it now, not only cause of it being my first but also cause i’m really into space and stuff so it’s like two amazing things combined and yeah, but i was glad to see him say nice things about it:)

Good catch! I don't believe Invertigo trims in the station like on the above the track boomerangs. The catch car catches the train and lowers the train into the station like on the giant inverted boomerang models.
@@ElToroRyan there are trims before the second lift (the lift not connected to the station) but I don’t know if they actually are used

@@ElToroRyan Invertigo Op here! Our trims on Invertigo are looping brakes, it’s mostly used for e-stops to keep the train from getting stuck between the loop and cobra roll if it valleys! (It has done it before)
