Two of my favorite parks. As much as I love Cedar Point, there's something homey about Holiday World and Kings Island. The ops at King's Island are always top notch at least in my experience. I always get plenty of space!
Speaking of Cedar Point....I took my 17 and 12 year old daughters on Saturday. And a funny thing happened. Pictures and video do not do Millennium Force justice for the first hill and its steep climb. "I don't know about that" when she saw it in person. But they did, and Steel Vengeance, so I am happy that the loved it.
@@chuck4714 haven’t rode it :(. If it has a forest around it, and tunnels, I imagine it is a better night ride then El Torro. El Torro has no trees. Voyage and Beast plow thru a forest. Hence why the night ride makes a big difference. Not even mentioning the pitch black tunnels.
@@NotTheBombIt doesn’t really go through a forest or have any tunnels. But the layout is way back from the rest of the park for the most part. Great ride.
Once Flash Opens, you will have ridden all the new Vekoma Boomerangs in America for 2024. I have been checking on Flash every weekend, and they still look like they have a lot of work to do.
I wanted to make this exact trip over the summer and hit Kentucky Kingdom along the way. Unfortunately I had to move in prep for a new teaching position so I just couldn't swing it.
I was hoping they did some trackwork last off-season. It was riding horribly rough on my visit a year ago. The airtime is incredible, but yeah, so many people are not able to enjoy it because of the brutality.
I’ve never been to Hollywood nights, but for some reason they closed voyage past nine, so it was dark. Most unreal coster experience I’ve ever had. Could talk about it for days, but I need to go to Hollywood nights.

Thanks for all of the content!! Your channel and other coaster vloggers inspired me to go to Cedar Point and Magic Mountain in the same week!! I rode 23 coasters last week between CP and MM!! I'll be going to King's Island for the first time in September. I can't wait to ride Beast.

Holiday World has the best ride ops and employees in general. I'm slightly biased as I was an op on Legend in '22 and start of '23. Voyage is great but Legend will always be my favorite of the 3 woodies in the park
I have been to: Cedar Point, Kings Island, Dollywood, Carrowinds, Kings Dominion, Six Flags Great America, Hershey Park, and Holiday World is still my third favorite park.
@@6393dudestaff, 10/10. Ops pretty good. Cubbies on all of their rides. Free drinks, free parking, and free water park… which also slaps. The park does so much compared to what you pay. Fcking love them. Wish it was my home park!!!
@@coastercube838 I'll give it the overall better than dragster, but it's still behind Vengeance, Maverick, Millie, and Raptor for me. Idk..... maybe I rode it too much in a short time. Between media day, the coastermania keychain preview day, and opening weekend, I've got 24 laps in on it. (All season fast lane really helped)
Hey Ryan, I’ve been a longtime viewer of yours and love all your videos. Your informational videos have helped me on a project I had for describing my plan to become a roller coaster engineer. That said, I personally would like to know what you do for a living currently (knowing you previously were a ride operator).
We just did that same trip backwards 2 weeks ago and had the same reactions 😂 and don't feel bad about TT2 it's just ok (rip), but Id rather marathon Voyage all day.
I dont know if you have ever stopped by the Udderly Blue Ice Cream stand at Holiday World, but if you haven't - it is an ABSOLUTE MUST! Hands down, the BEST ice cream in the entire world! My family knows I'm not leaving Holiday World without grabbing a cone first.
Actually went here about 3 months before posting this, line for the voyage was so dead beat empty I rode it 38 times in about 3 hours, only time I had to wait was one train cycle to get in the back seat again

Idk, I did both Kentucky Kingdom and Holiday World in a day, and I think I would've rather spent a day at each, just so I could've gotten more rides on some of the coasters.
The whole family coaster thing for kids is overrated. My daughter is 6 and was bummed she could ride moolinium force but not Orion. Let's get the b&Ms to have a 48 inch height requirement and more family gigas like moolinium
They can't. It's a different restraint. Millennium Force has a T bar which goes flat across where the B&M have a curve in the middle which adds more space hence why they can't make it lower. Unless you want them to get rid of the most perfect restraint style ever
