Yes I do know you can swap them out from the fingertip controls to the joystick I don’t know if I’d change from joystick to finger tip happy to hear you enjoy the videos I appreciate you watching.

I’ve run a John Deere grader for the past 7+ years almost every day. Most of the time I’ve had the fingertip controls, and I absolutely love them. We just got a new 672 GP with joystick controls, and I also am slowly getting used to it. The thing I’m having the most issues with is the blade slide. It is on the right side and you have to move the joystick left and right, and that is throwing me off. It’s always been on my left side up until now. When I slide my blade, I tend to raise or lower that side also because I’m not going completely straight side to side with it, But like you, I’m sure it’ll come to me before I know it.

I have the finger tip controls in the Deere I operate and like them also I did get a pretty good feel for the joystick controls definitely takes some getting used too the side shift being on the right didn’t bother me as that’s where’s it’s at on the cat m series the circle on the left messes with me on the Deere joystick thanks for the info and thanks for watching

Looks nice and great video. I’m jealous of you getting the grade control and joysticks. I work for the county yard here in northeast Nebraska and the 2021 772 grader I run has the antler rack and it is honestly fairly uncomfortable to drive for long periods.

Thanks and it’s definitely a nice machine to operate all the fancy stuff is expensive though I still operate a machine with the antler rack and I know what your talking about thanks for watching.

I ran a john deere grader with joysticks similar to that for a day and I gotta say I hated the steering also, even the loader we had on site was like that and I always had a hard time driving it on the road because of that funky steering.

I’m happy I’m not the only one that’s not a fan of the joystick steering it definitely takes some getting used too thanks for you input and thanks for watching!

I still use the wheel on the GP I run. The joystick takes too much force to move, and they need more expo in the PID controls. (machine firmware)

I gotcha yes I agree I prefer using the steering wheel myself while blading I only use joystick when doing dirt work they definitely need to work on there controls thanks for watching!

I run the joysticks in the 770gp exactly like in your video. After running it for about 800hrs so far, im used to the joystick steering but every now & then i find myself pulling the console back to grab the wheel. Visibility is AWFUL with the wheel pulled in tight to you though i find. Lol
