I get gravel for my driveway by going on approaches on the county rds in the spring and rake up all the aggregate the snow plow shoved off the road top all winter

That’s a cool contraption you got there! Please forgive me but what’s the purpose of the disc? And why not just blade the material back up on the berm. If I can take a guess is it to kill the grass so it doesn’t clump when you pull it up? Thanks for taking us on the ride.

So the purpose of the disc is to cut up the grass and sod and remove the slight berm on the edge of the road once that’s done with the disc I leave it sit for a week then pull it in with blade and incorporate it back in to the road hope that explains it I will have a longer video explaining it coming out here soon thanks for watching!
