I was thinking how much BJ looks like our dad. When you mentioned Wesley, I can see that as well. BJ has done a great job of blending into your farm. Think of the technology that BJ had to learn while re-learning basic farming field tasks. Dad being cheap is why you can afford to build a house. I know you understand this, just want your sub's to as well. Bob has done a great job of farming profitably over the years.
One of the things with CLAAS is that you get the feeling that they put more effort into there harvester products than other brands that try to do everything thing
BJ looks more and more like your dad.
Amazing machines are combines, someone very smart creates them. Kinda cool that CLAAS is family owned.
The 8700 is definitely IMPRESSIVE! Lights in the header are such a great idea !!
This harvest we got a 8700 and the difference between the 780 claas and the 8700 was huge, it ate crop and wanted more, in standing green stemmed canola I couldn't even combine it without plugging my impeller where as the 8700 just flew through it
Brian, thanks for showing us the combine.
I enjoyed the BJ cam. Pretty complete analysis, Brian. Thanks.
That’s the best green combine I have seen in a while
Impressive and I run a green and yellow one. Was in England in August. Mostly saw Claas there
I'm sure a new combine with a 50 foot head would be nice. However, I believe your new shed only has a 50 foot door opening so you would need to put the head on a cart to get it into the new shed
I like the yellow and black paint scheme on the older Lexions. The standard paint colors are growing on me though. In the end, it's all about performance and cost, and the purchase price of that 8700 is only one component in the cost of owning that new machine.
Those lights on the bean head were pretty cool. How do they look at night from the cabin?
Brian. Fantastic photography on the Claas. Thanks.
BJ I remember how old I felt hearing Motley Crue on a classic rock station for the first time
Interesting to see the differences between the 740 and 8700. Ease of changing between crops would be a topic of discussion if you go to one machine. If you're shelling corn in the morning and cutting beans in the afternoon, don't need a lot of downtime. The finish work on houses is time-consuming...hope you'll be in before long!!!
Great video guys. thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Did your dad happen to say how well the lights in the head did work? Cause that's definitely a "huh, neat" if they work as well as they looked like they would.
And if only the Claas dealer network was as dense as Case and JD's. Probably be a lot more people running them if they were.
Brian, I grew up in Germany on a family farm, 1 mile away there lived and still is the Class family, I used to play with their Son , visit their house and play with all his toys.
After moving to Canada I went back to visit in 2006 and got a tour of the class factory, was really impressed about the quality inspections after every unit.
For someone so close to the Claas family & yet surprisingly unable to spell their surname correctly?
English may not be your first language, however Claas remains the same spelling in any language, plus you spelt it incorrectly twice!
@@leddieliveMight have been an unfortunate autocorrect change.
Yes, your probably right my suspicious mind working overtime, its just I've come across so many phonies & bots in the comments section lately.
@@leddieliveautocorrect
lol you guys, noticed the spelling error myself, the iPhone lately has a mind of its own
Mornin. My favorite part. Love this channel. Happy subscriber 😊!
I was thinking the same thing Brian he looks just like Wes
That’s claas Draper header sounds quiet. Nice and smooth running. The cutter bar cuts the crop nicely to fall right on the Draper. Not like the honeybee header has that big steel incline up from the cutter bar to the Draper. I have no idea why anyone would buy a honey bee. But anyways. How do you like the claas Draper compared to the macdon? When we had a claas combine we had an auger header. Which we loved. But we prefer the Draper headers now we run Deere. But I definitely like the new claas machines.
Really interesting Brian.
German engineering is some of the best in the world . Good stuff
CLAAS combines are made in Omaha NE. Factory is awesome.
I belive for North and south america the are Produced in Omaha and vor europe and asia the are made in Harsewinkel Germany.
12:34, BJ has a point 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good job guys
Sure is a colorful machine.
I believe the majority of the Claas combine is manufactured in Omaha NE.. It is the original Cat plant that Claas bought back when Cat existed ag equipment. That is similar time to when Agco bought Cat's tractor line up. I believe you said combine was made in Germany, but I believe majority of North America Combines and few other harvest product lines are assembled in Omaha.
This is correct.
G’job Brown family, looking good. Better Germany than China. Y’all be careful and keep em comin🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Good show
In Illinois I was cutting double crop beans at 6 mph and I could have gone faster if the header could have kept up
Hi BJ, about RHCP i feeling the same like you. Not for rock classic or im too old 😂
Great video good to see y'all
Need a claas xerion tractor on demo
Nice machine Brian
Lots of good info
Great video
If it’s going to work, and the numbers add up hope it comes true
So your telling me Wes didn’t make a guest appearance in todays video 😂
By the looks of B Js jowls of course he has snacks. Ha Ha ! Thanks BFF
Awesome video Brian
Several degrees on this end, including Mech. Engineer, Gear Engineer, was a senior gear engineer at "GM", your best machine tools, "gear" generators are manufactured in Germany...."quality" typically surpasses most other manufactures relating to items manu. in Germany.
😂😂😂ONE LONLEY BROWN. BJ
Well, I gotta say that the Claas Lexion 8700 is an awesome machine. However, I'm kind of thinking your Dad likes the New Holland CR 8.90 a little bit more than the Claas. As the CR 8.90 seems a bit simpler to operate than the Claas.
Yes you can tell Brian is the one who wants the Lexion at this time.
@@marshalloutdoors1791 Well they all three buck pick ups. LOL! Go ahead and buy two combines. Lol!
Lexion is so beautiful
Maybe you could tour the plant in Omaha Ne the Cabelas is almost right next to it two for one trip lol
Went in 2019
From watching the farm show vids,,, Drago....
These should be manufactured/assembled in Omaha yet correct?
But does it have a "power ladder"?
BJ, 45 is NOT old.
Combine Class is more related to HP & Capacity
#RossCountySilverLegend #MunicipalBob #SendIt #BobbyJrsMusings
does Class make a wind system, we like them?
Can your class run the big header
Mornin'
... how hot is the corn when it comes out of the dryer?????
How is the loss compared to the Gleaner with the air bar?
Do they have there own power plant and can you order a different engine ?
Yup, he does resemble OLF.
Evening
We have a r65 gleaner we've got it down to 0 loss out the back on a 8 15inch row and very clean smaples play with fan speed and rotor speed
Class t be far would be up there as the best in the world
You are a try new Holland, or international case
Try a fendt
Is it actually good enough for Mike like everybody thinks
I heard green day on the classic rock station.... That was even more insulting
I hope you get to demo an John Deere X9 1100 soon
With a 50 foot head or bigger, that new 62 foot GTS Brazilian head would be awesome to see on aN X9-1100.
@@John-nc4bl that would be an overkill for it
Chad Smith 60 years old lol.yes bj they are now classic.
@BriansFarmingVideos i was thinking that then you pop up saying it @onelonleyfarmer doppelganger moment for sure
Just wondering what does the BJ in your name mean😊
Bob jr
@@BriansFarmingVideos thankyou, I was just curious, have a great day 😀😊☺.
👍👍👍👍
Im pretty sure the Claas makes their combines in Omaha, Nebraska.
I think he meant they are designed and headquartered in Germany
The components are built in Germany and then shipped to Omaha to be assembled.
I watched one farmer who said he watched your video of you running the new combine and he said all you talked about was how fast you wanted to go not how good the combine was doing , I got tired of hearing him run you down and unsubscribed from him all he does is run people down, that’s not good
Who was it
Oi 🚒🚒🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
You mean that wasn't One lonely farmer
BRIAN wouldn’t it be more better to run to combines instead of just one running one big one in a situation where the other combine went down then probe in progress doesn’t have to stop and you’re continuing to get corn or beans done whatever properties so you’re not getting nothing done but wanting to run a bigger job being head that makes sense or you have to go to a bigger machine new Holland combine is not better than John Deere does Newhall ones made out of the same factory as cases but why will the other corn head unfold quicker and on hold and unfold quicker than the heads on the cleaner and we and what are you guys probably put up another been our go to a converter like what ZACH and Nate have and one that be easier on the green then having a drag ERIC but no new Holland combine will not show more than what the X9 will the case 8240 only holds 410 bushel or the X9 holds 460 where are the 1000 I think it’s for 430 what is the X9 1100 or 460 but I think that would be the only other combine that would give Closter run for its money now I have ROS in the class and there a corny machine don’t give me wrong but in Germany that’s probably their version of John Deere but I would take a fat combine before I would take a new Holland because I wrote a new Holland and they’re not as comfortable from an operator standpoint and they’re not very roomy and they don’t have the same features like John Deere does where you can operate the tractor go forward or back
Footage with the lights on the Claas head coming down the field was really nice. Your channel has greatly improved.
👍👍👍👍
4:26 - The similarities between BJ and Wes are absolutely there lol.
His commentary about the Red Hot Chili Peppers being on a classic rock station is spot on. We're getting old, brother, as much as I hate to admit it.
The next step, sadly , is elevator music from the classic rock bin.
Bean dust is bad, though milo dust is the worst!!! I gets in the bend of your arms and neck and itches like crazy!!!!!
Congratulations BJ on your upcoming Bengals W. Got this Bills game in the bag.
Thanks for taking the time to explain the size of the combines Brian.
a little experiment: swap your gold shades for bj's blue ones. HONEST, you'll be surprised what a difference it makes to your daylight ...................
im from germany and theres ALOT of claas combines running here. Ive known claas to be green and white all my life, but i really like the caterpillar colors on 'em. its a pity they dont paint them that way anymore!
Good I think Brian really wants that combine stick with gleaner
BRIAN why didn’t you guys demo a John Deere I mean the John Deere be better definitely than the gleaner was it just that particular head on the gleaner and just want folders fast compared to your dad’s close ours is just not have the extra horsepower would you guys be able to run would you guys be able to run a 50 foot Draper if you guys went to Lee 8600 or at 87 cause I’m guessing if you guys went to one in gas for Bennett at one would break down you’d have an extra one to fall back on so I guess I’m just curious on that eric
4:06 I remember the day I heard Nirvana, the music of my youth, on a “classic rock” station….made me feel so old.😂😂
Why not a vacuum head for taking soybeans? Would not that work?
Please tell me that you will shame him for missing beans for 100ft. I'd be a little disappointed if you didn't jab him a little.
Thank You Brian we appreciate you and all of your family.
I have seen more CLAAS combines this yr then before there r 2 outside of Sabina and at least 1 maybe 2 up around deer Creek
THAT HEW HOLLAND WOULD EAT THAT COMBINE UP.YOU KNOW THEY USED TO BUILD FORD COMBINES.WE HAD A FORD.
Ask if you can get a Claas in the companies original colour, just to match your Gleaner! Lol
WTF, Bob left $12 worth of beans in the field, no wonder we can't afford nice things😊
Very good Video 👍 👍
Bj will have yellow fever 🤒 and new Asian wife in that olf hat it’s contagious
Agco is the worst thing to happen to massey ferguson in a long time!!!
Heck our combine doesn’t have automatic header hight so we do it all by hand
Man that slo mo really showed the shattering at the head. They're always more visible at under the lights. What did you think of the built in lights on the header? Looks like a great design.
The claas lexion is made in Omaha, Nebraska..
The new combine was a tad expensive
good video with class
