golly gee this is a case the size of my balls
Hi, Icant find the Link of your video pertaining to the build at timestamp 10:11
Could you please share it ^^,)
A budget ITX gaming build paired with a Cintiq is a digital artist’s dream.
I agree. Laptops are just a scam at this point. (specially because of the shit batteries they put on them which go bad within 2 years)
@@KogureDevilchan The tablet brands make decent software, but terrible hardware. If Wacom outsourced its pen technology to good PC brands, they might finally make reliable standalone drawing PCs.
Devyn, your builds are always so elegant and the components make sense. I especially like the enclosure you designed yourself. It was great. I loved the concept of integrating a screen in it. You just have to figure out how to run it all on battery power... not practical I know but its still nice to think about.
I'm thinking of going 3D printing case design (shoutout to Modcase for inspo). This solution would be nice and sturdy internally, with a solid shell around it for mobility / protection. Getting the mesh fan-holes and airflow right would be critical. I really like the modular HDPLEX PSUs...
I got a 4080 7800x3d Fractal Terra build w the same Noctua cooler and was having issues with overheating at first until I figured out how to undervolt. I was disappointed at first but I’d def recommend now 👍🏻 great vid as always
fell in love with itx builds buy watching your videos.
wish i could get the velka 4060 build for myself.
your profile picture is literally my wallpaper for the past 2 years lol
@@Yami_Industries nice bro. using this from 2020 XD
was using this even before i knew who miku was XD
Built myself a new pc very recently in the ch160 from Deepcool because of the video you did of it, and I love it. Thanks for the inspiration!
at some point, its just becomes more reasonable to ductape parts together.
😅
Still waiting for Devyn to drop the name of his monitoring software 🙌
I'm asking the same question. el dotto.
same

Nice build
I got a Zotac Solo 4060 to make something like your Velka 3 build, but with a Ryzen 7600X. The 4060 has been running absolutely fantastically for the games and resolutions I play at and I've been super happy with it.
Another great video as usual!
Very nice build. I'm building something similar that can replace my at home desktop, but can then be "folded up" into a smaller box. When in use, it folds out at a single point with a hinge to improve thermals.
omg a xworks x32 build finallyyyy thank you
2:40 that bend sure is damn clean and tight!
It's amazing how the Velka 3 dominates with it's 4L size. Haven't seen a case yet that allows for standard parts, can go up to a 4070 and be this tiny. Probably could even go smaller if the case was build around a HDPLEX instead of a Flex.
You've covered this topic comprehensively.
I personally love open air chassis. My current build is in a thermaltake p3 Pro, with no glass panel. Essentially just a metal slab that everything is mounted to and i love it. Dust has been an easy to fix problem with an electric duster.
What can I say.. great and informative as always.. thanks 👍🏿
I don't know what it is about that particular motherboard, but I find it very aesthetically pleasing. And it looks especially good paired with that Noctua cooler. I really like the way the VRM heatsink is perfectly level with the fan.
After watching your vids for the last year or so, I'll be building my first itx system in the meshroom s very soon.
this would look great in a clear case
I think that 90 degrees adapters for the cables would be awesome. to have a more cleaner look
Would love to see something like this, but mounted to the back of the screen! No point wasting desk real estate on a computer. VESA mounting?
I would absolutely love to build it because the room temps go upto 47c in my city and most of the time I need to leave case open
Hey Devyn If you like open air cases you should check out the Xtia Proto ATX case. I have that one for 1.5 years now and I couldn’t be more happy. It has basically unlimited go thickness and length and can hold the 240 or 280 AIOs which should cover basically every non work station CPU’s. The case is in total (if you take the 240 AIO) 17 liters. Also I rarely see anyone cover that open case on RUclips so you could be the first to do an in depth review and build on it
I would love to buy a prebuilt like this ❤
It's cool but too limited with the GPU size imo.
I love these builds so much. Not a huge fan of those aquarium builds
i am using asrock a620i for 4 monthes now and its absolutely amazing value for the price, the only thing that i wish was better is audio codec (at least alc1200) :)
A bit too ''open'' for my taste. Thats just an ITX test bench. 😁
Great build! How were you able to have RTSS to display everything horizontally like that?
at what point do they just become test benches
nice build, love this form-factor and the power it can provide
also, can someone tell please what's the software is being used for fps/temperatures in games?
The only thing I don't like about this build are the original cables. For me, ITX PCs need to have custom-made cables, otherwise they look horrible most of the time.
I've always liked to see the buildings you make, and I wanted to ask for help (if there's no issue ofc)
What would be the best case to build a very portable mini ITX pc? I have a Intel Core i9-10850K (125W), an MSI MEG z490I, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and 64 gb ram and I need to redux it size the most I can to transport it in a carry on, however I don't want to risk to burn it for lack of ventilation and it would be great to find a way to keep it without changing pieces for a while (excepting for the cooling system and the case ofc)
Like that case, and I don’t like this type of CPU fan because you’re not gonna get better coolant so that means it’s gonna draw the noise a lot louder if it starts overheat plus you need a ride to fit that kind of stuff for me I’m gonna use a different case
What software is he using to display the cpu/gpu temps and utility
Pretty sure installing an NH-L9a-AM5 is one of the punishments in hell.
recently did it. it's not that bad
had much worse
nah that’d be cooler master aios
Have you ever tried mounting a be quiet dark rock pro3? Bro those things are HUGE and almost impossible to screw down, you pretty much mount the motherboard onto the cooler, not the other way around
I also spit my lunch up reading this 😂
@@andrewgreen8383 now you’re getting hurtful
Shifting the keyboard touchpad to the left is an easy reason to pass it up. I hate it.
A finals player, nice
Hi i like your videos very much and i have a question .. what software are you using to monitor the cpu and gpu ?
I would 3D print an enclosure for it 😏
Maybe it's the smallest tiny case in the world.
Building in ch160 cos of u ❤
I need help I have 3070 and a asus rog 760 motherboard with i7 cpu and the mini power supply won’t power my system ? Which one should I use
The ASRock A620I Lightning WiFi would fit better but your Build is verYNice :)
How do you think this build is for gaming:
CPU - Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Ryzen 9 7900x3D (not sure which one to go for, leaning toward the 7800x3D)
MOBO - Asus Strix B560 E Gaming
RAM - 32GB Corsair Vengence RGB DDR5
GPU - Gigabyte Gaming OC Geforce RTX 4070ti Super 16GB VRAM
PSU - Corsair RM850X Shift 850w Modular Power Supply
SSD - 1TB Samsung Kingston NVME M.2 4.0
CASE - Corsair Obsidian 500D
CPU COOLER - Lian Li 360mm RGB Liquid Cooler
What are the thermals of a small 4060/4060ti like this in comparison to one with 2/3 fans?
What's the reference for your wifi antennas please ?
Don't go for Asrock B620i. Instead, go for B650i ver.
What monitoring software do you use?
I want to do exactly the same, but, for ATX
3d print a custom case
I would have left PBO on
At this point I think you should rename the channel to "Tiny Johnston" 😂
thats what she said
Hello. Please tell me which program you use to monitor CPU, GPU and FPS?
"case" is way overpriced
If anyone figures out how to make the fan idle on these Zotacs RTX4060s, lemme know.. Damn vbios that caps the fan at 30% speed =/ (i know it helps the VRMs, but i'd install some other fan on the case for them..)
Why you're not using external PSU?
Wow! A mini build. 🙄
Ncase M2 matx
What is the case with the monitor at 0:26?
Great video. 👍 What software are you using to monitor thermals during the benchmarking?
What monitoring tools on 9:29 ?
which is the software for see fps? this bar is so minimal s2
Might be a custom solution. No one knows. I've checked previous videos
I'll crown this guy king of ITX builds...
Optimum has left the chat
@@faisal-eo5hc optimum goes hard but this guy has been killing it lately with more consistent uploads and variety.
@@faisal-eo5hc Optimum has lost focus.
optimum these past 3 years: huh?
You should check Not From Concentrate
cool build
what fps overlay software are you using? it looks clean and easy to read mid game
without the case, there is no shield, once computer emit a radiation.
For anyone thinking about buying an open case:
I have the XTIA Xproto-ATX case V2 case (same company that he references at 10:12) and I absolutely love it.
But what about dust? This must be a huge dust magnet no?
It heavily depends on your environment. If people live in a very dusty area then yeah I can imagine you would clean it every month or so but if that's not the case you do not need to clean it that often. I have my open case for almost 1.5 years now and I have cleaned it 3 times so far. and even when I decided to clean it there was an extremely thin (emphasis on thin) layer of dust on the top of te case and GPU with that dust there were no differences in either temperatures or performance. Using an electric air duster and in 5 minutes tops the dust is gone.
So yeah if someone wants to buy an open case, they just need to look at how dusty their room is and will become and based on that you can guess fairly accurately how many times you would feel the need to clean your PC. For example, there is a video of a guy who shares an update on not cleaning his PC after 3 months with the same case Devyn references at 10:12. I nowhere nearly have as much as that guy in the video. After 6 months I don't even see dust on my CPU fans or PSU like he does in that video
Since RUclips will not let you post links the title of the video is ''Three months of dust with xproto + cleaning''
I really like the trend of minimalist gaming PCs.
6 cores is fine for most games? U sure about that? I had to upgrade from 5600X to 5800X3D just to eliminate cpu botttleneck in some games like cyberpunk, starfield, call of duty and even fortnite.
Such a neat way to showcase your PC components! Watching your videos is dangerous because I recreated the Fractal Terra build that you did a while ago and I love it! Now I want to recreate something like this. 🥲🤣
I love small builds and open air builds, my daily drivers are a laptop and a lian li tu 150 case. Sadly I'd love a open air build but I have a kitten
No, this is not nice🤷♂️
Wouldn't mind seeing some more western market builders bringing Jginyue boards in. their B650i Night Devil is actually pretty reasonable, especially at its price point of ~$100.
Can I know the software that he using that show cpu and gpu on monitor?
I wish they would drop a LP version of the RX 6600.
1080ti is still better
when the sponsorship segment comes on, i skip. hope this helps, best buy!
case-- it encases things
frame-- they frame things. neither of these are going on in this video.
stand-- pc stand, looks as that's what happening here
They look like jank test benches.
Its parts holder
ASUS is shit, no discussion. It can literally fry your Ryzen.
first?
