I was never Rose fan or a Reds fan but Listening to him now I get his success as a player and manager this guy has personality galore and amazing knowledge I hope he's on Fox again in the playoffs just great count me in as a big fan now
Rose manages to be the best analyst and color guy around. His knowledge is vast, and he's funny to boot. When he talks shop, even HOFers like Thomas and Rodriguez listen like they are at the feet of the Buddha
People around the country have never understood the city of cincinnati's love affair with Peter Edward Rose...it seems like you just got a taste....Pete is and will always be BASEBALL
There are a lot of non-Reds fans that are BIG fans of Rose. He's at the top of the list of players that got the most out of their abilities, and you NEVER saw him not run out a ground ball, like many of today's overpaid players do on a daily basis. Hell, he even ran to first base when he was walked! He always would try to stretch a single into a double.
The story about the egg incident with Joe Nuxhall is great. This game occurred on August 15, 1964. Nuxhall pitched 2 2/3 innings that day. The Reds lost 7-4.
Jesus Christmas! This man is baseball! Baseball like it used to be. Baseball like it should be. Not a homerun strike out show. Something scientific and thoughtful and something that mattered. I truly love baseball. And I cannot watch the game the way it is today for more than 10 minutes. And most of the 10 minutes I'm waiting for something from someone that would be thought provoking. Something with skill. Not just swing from your ass power. I'll listen to 10 minutes of Pete rose talking baseball then two hours of today's product on the field.
I can recall having drinks with James Jett WR for the Raiders DURING a game in the West Side Club at the Oakland Coliseum while he was a member of the team ..... on the roster and not hurt. The Raider way huh ?
Fox Ohio ain't got nothing better to do than push Pete Rose campaign for baseball hall of fame entry. From "Charlie hustle" to "Charlie cry baby". Yes Pete was great, but he broke the rules on more than one occasion. His own teamates say he should not be entered into Hof.
I could listen to Pete Rose tell baseball stories indefinitely
M to buddy
Nobody knows or tells better baseball stories than Pete Rose.
"eat all night, they just eat alllnight". Hilarious!!
I could listen to Pete 24 hours a day
Pete is so down to earth for being the man with the most hit's ever.
Great story... Love Pete. Miss the 60-70's
I love pete so much
PETE ROSE...H.O.F

U should have been a REDS fan in the 70's !! Awesome times and memories for sure

This man should absolutely be in the Hall of Fame...one of the greatest baseball players ever.
steve Fowler Nope. He broke Cardinal rule. I love his knowledge and stories.
@@scottdavidson7001 Betting on your team to win is what every good player on the field should be doing. Otherwise, they should not have a career.
ESPN should start a Pete Rose story hour.
When Baseball was Baseball.
All baseballs should have Pete's initials on them. Pete Rose IS Baseball.
Pete Rose is timeless
Rose to the hall..
i couldn't give a fuck less about sports and pro athletes. but i love my some pete rose.

Wow! I didn't know Rose's and Nuxall's careers overlapped. That's a funny story. I would have liked to see Nuxy respond to it.
I had a sparky Anderson's baseball card he had a cig in his hand classic
18 eggs cut in half lol
He ate Hutch’s clutch.
Forgive and let live! Let him In The HOF NOW!!!
Make Pete the couch
Cool Hand Luke.....stand in.....fifty eggs...
Put him In !!😊
Is there a better story teller in regards to the game of baseball than Pete Rose, not on this earth...
I can recall having drinks with James Jett WR for the Raiders DURING a game in the West Side Club at the Oakland Coliseum while he was a member of the team ..... on the roster and not hurt. The Raider way huh ?
Fucking hilarious.
Pete just wanted to play baseball
Too bad the game is not what it use to be. Young players could/should learn so much from Pete
Then remove his jersey, bats and balls that are on display in the HoF.
Baseball players eat! I’ve seen a SS eat 6 tacos in one sitting. If you’re from Chicago pacos taco’s
Why doesn't he tell any clubhouse stories about placing bets on his own team's games?
You can tell us
Pete Rose, great player, deeply flawed human being.
